Went to Palmy. We wanted to do this one as it was in someone garden and permission was given. Our GPS took us to the wrong side of the property, but after searching in the wrong place Cacheclaws found the container on the otherside. Found with DadandKidsNZ and Cacheclaws. Thanks Popmac.
Dad had been away for work for the week, and needed to go to Palmy to buy some parts for work and took all three of us kids. We wanted to do this one as it was in someone garden and permission was given. Our GPS took us to the wrong side of the property, but after searching in the wrong place I found the container on the otherside. Found with minecraftlad as well. Thank Popmac.

**18,998**Edging ever nearer to our 19,000th find and hopefully there is a Maccas on the horizon soon or there maybe a murder occurring. A nice quick find once Mr Geckoh had assured himself that the property owner was aware of the hide. TFTC
A nice quick park n grab. I'm not overly fond of these caches on private property, thankfully the hint was good so it was signed off in no time at all. Thanks Popmac

Trying very carefully not to emulate Dr Foster here. Needn't have worried as there were no problems finding and signing off the cache. TFTC # 20,097
It's day twenty-seven of this months Wheel of Challenges challenge, the streak, and today I needed to find a cache. So once again I got up at ridiculous o'clock and cached my way up to Palmerston North through the sub-zero winter temperatures, with very careful planning to make my arrival time coincide with the earliest of the possible publish times of the daily WoC series that is appearing there (and once again it appeared an hour later than I was hoping). I also drove around Palmerston chasing down a variety of caches that were on my todo list. This was one of them.
I am not a fan of this type of private property hide, but as it was still very early in the morning I took a chance that I would be able to sneak here unnoticed, and I did. No problem finding the cache exactly where it was.
---
Thanks to Popmac for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

The neighbour next door was out in the garden so tried to be descreet, then the owner of the house came out, it was the CO, so had a quick chat, signed the log and off I went, tftc Popmac
During a recent trip to Palmy over Easter, went on a mission with RRex03.
Now back in Rotorua, I can log the caches… TFTC

No luck tonight. Had a very good hunt, and seeing its 10:30pm there was no one around, but I came up blank.
Did find saturated paper, unsure if it was log or not.
Thanks anyways!

TFTC was almost ready to give up til the partner went looking too very goof spot for it
Yay first find today in Palmerston North!! TFTC. Great lil hide - ps I think the someone was looking in the power lines cover was off lol !
I imagine this would be easy to find but there were too many people about to risk walking onto a strangers property!
Nobody looked to be home and we made a nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee tour of the North Island. A day around Palmerston North today. The weather was good for caching, not too hot, cold, windy or wet (though there were a few showers they didn't stop us)!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

After work headed out for a couple of caches to keep the streak going. day 100. Quick find followed by a longer cup of tea with the CO. Thanks Popmac nice to catch up and exchange some geocaching yarns.
Although I am staying in Feilding, I came down to PN for a bite to eat. This cache was close by, so I nabbed it. TFTC.
Had us wondering if we were in the correct location as it looked private, However my GPSr was displaying the old Event which confirmed my suspecions and the cache was located shortly afterwards. TFTC
Out on a weekend caching trip with Buttels with the aim of picking up the SHIELD and 20/20 series and mostly solved puzzles along the way. Quick find today - Wondered if this was a cachers home, but didn't see anyone about except a neighbour going for a walk. T4TC
I managed to mess this one up on a previous visit to Palmerston North but quickly worked out where I went wrong by checking Street View when I got back home. I returned today and noticed my GPSr again wanted me to go to the wrong fence line. However, I soon found what I was seeking.
Quickly found on a town walk with the dog. But 1st find after 2 dnf's !
Thanks for the initiative putting this one here.

Nearly gave up in despair with muggles making me a bit frazzled but pushed on and got to the right location in the end. TFTC!
Found 4pm
Couldn't leave the event and not collect this very nearby cache. Thanks for the placement. SLTFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We were really keen to log a Leap Day Event cache and collect the souvenir, but our nearest was the camp-out at Awhitu. We have already cached in that area and wanted to use our time a bit more effectively, so we reasoned that a trip south would be worthwhile. There were three events in the Manawatu region. Road trip...
I hadn’t even considered that there might be a cache close to our event location, but Gap was already onto it. A slight iPhone malfunction had him on the wrong side of the property. A bit of guidance from the CO and Gap had it sorted. The interesting thing about this hide was that I got to sign the logbook from my plastic armchair... Don’t tell! Thanks Popmac and TFTC.

Found while enjoying a very pleasant afternoon tea under the CO's umbrella tree in his front yard. A lovely way to spend a Leap Day! Thank you so much for hosting this event, Popmac and Mrs Popmac.
Didn't need this cache as I'd already got the one I needed to progress my streak of consecutive daily geocache finds (to 30 days), but found and logged it anyway. TFTC
#7864. This was a bonus cache picked up while attending the garden party event hosted by the CO on Leap Day 2020. I noticed some of the people attending had snuck off and were suspiciously looking like they were geocaching. I asked if there was a nearby cache and in fact there was one on the boundary of the property. Without a glance at the description, cache size or hint I set off in pursuit. Saw a couple of likely candidates but soon discovered they were legitimate suburban objects and not geocaching decoys favoured by the likes of the Seagnoid. Oophs. A nod to the fenceline from a fellow cacher and I saw the error of my ways. OK, seen that type of container before. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks Popmac for hiding one here.
