Due to not being able to relocate this cache, I have decided to archive it. Thank you to all cachers who enjoyed it while it lasted.

I will take a second look at the location of the cache and consider repositioning it.

First Australian geocaching run after coming back from a school trip in Europe. After parking down the bottom of the hill, we took gentle strides up the hill, where we were presented with amazing views of Tuggeranong. Once at GZ, it was a very quick find. Cool hide. TFTC TheSkype!

Found while spending the day in Canberra with Rapidlywild.
These types of caches are ones I would normally skip due to moving brown sticks but I pulled up my sox, took a deep breath and stuck to the heals of Rapidlywild and made it to the cache unscathed.
Was ever so thankful that the cache was sitting in the manner it was because it gave us a quick get-away. Thanks for the fun TheSkype

Day 2 of caching around Canberra with Coruze from Albury/Wodonga. We picked up a handful of caches last night prior to resorting back to the warmth of the house.

As we continued our travels south side, this was the next target. We had collected a cache nearby so we were already up the top which made things a little easier. The longer grass here had Coruze on edge a little however she stayed with me and continued towards the cache. Not sure where the cache was supposed to be however it seems the previous finders did not replace it so it was sitting on top and there was no challenge to retrieve it. Lucky for us I guess lol. Logging duties completed and we were on our way again.

Thanks for the cache placement TheSkype Big Grin

Haven't been up for a while and had forgotten how steep it was from where I parked.....great views on a day like today though.

Arrived at GZ and sussed out the location. Cache could be seen, so just a matter of making the grab.......not all that easy, but eventually all was good and the log was signed. Replacing the cache was a bit of fun as I took a different approach. Again, all was good and the cache is ready for the next visitor.

Thanks again TheSkype....another one crossed off the list.

Well we (geo son and I) had fun retrieving and putting it back. Beautiful views and lovely walk on a sunny Winters day. Tftc

That was an unexpected little adventure. Out for a walk with my two three year olds and found myself within 40m of this cache. I haven't had much time for finding caches lately so didn't want to pass this opportunity up and luckily my sister was with me so she could mind the kids while I went in for what I thought would be a quick find. Had a pretty good idea where this was but unfortunately my shoes didn't live up to the name of this cache and I couldn't get in the right position for retrieval. I didn't want a DNF so I took my shoes and socks off and had a go barefoot and bingo, the log was signed. Thanks for the cache TheSkype. Fav point from me for the challenge and cause I love this area and the view up here.

OK - that was a little scary. But obtained and retrieved and returned without injury. Nice views from up here! Thanks TS!

But disappointed this wasn't the challenging cache we were expecting. Definitely isn't worth a 4 star rating. Nevertheless, not a bad view at all.

FTF #44 Big Grin @ 0730 hrs!

5 days in a row! What a streak! I didn't think any new caches would be published after yesterday but late last night I was awoken by the sound of new caches being published. I noticed this one was the closest to home but still a fair way out of the way. I put it on my watchlist and went back to bed. This morning I got up nice and early to get ready for school so I had time to find this one. While it all seemed to work, my parents were very unhappy about having to drive to Gordon especially as I go to school in Belconnen! After some discussion, my dad finally agreed to take me and then we were off to GZ.

As we drove towards this cache, I kept a very close eye on the emails to see for any new logs. None had come in by the time I arrived at the parking spot. I was still nervous that someone had found it and so I ran off to GZ. I was fully clad in my school uniform, including blazer and tie which didn't help when I realized what 'skill' was required. I initially tried to climb up but with no grip on my shoes, I soon failed. I tried another method which proved more successful in one way but turned out horribly in another. With the container sighted, I worked to get it out of its hide (which was not easy given its location). In the process of retrieving the container, I managed to slice my hand open so I ended up with blood all over me and the tree. Eventually the container was sitting at my feet and opened it up to see a blank log sheet. Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC TheSkype!

P.S. I think the D/T rating should be higher than it is. Most people will need special equipment to retrieve the container and I can't imagine many people will be able to retrieve the container the way I did...

What can I say, CanKid pipped me at the post. By about 25mins. Seeing this cache
was pretty close to home, I checked if it had been logged,(not yet) jumped in the car
and got to cache. Which other stupid person would even bother getting to a cache
this quickly (I thought), well done Cankid.
As for cache, might be tough in the wet and definitely not for the faint hearted:-)
Thanks TheSkype

Please be careful in retrieving the cache. Don't need anymore injuries. I have updated the difficulty and terrain ratings.
