Driving through to Nelson today, and noticed this nice looking park and grab along the way, TFTC
We are on a trip in New Zealand. A wonderful country with a lot of (old )caches. There are too many caches so we limit ourselves to the (old) gems or where we happen to make a stop. We found and signed this cache in good condition. bumandworker, thank you for this cache, regards xizat-NL. Take care, this hobby can develop to an addiction.
Headed to Havelock for the evening. Collected the Cullen walk caches then needed some refreshment. Slipped into The Slip Inn and after a drink felt ready to go again. Short drive to collect this one. Thanks for the smiley.
Today on our journey through New Zealand from Nelson to Picton On our way to Picton we were fortunately able to add this geocach to our logbook.Thank you CO for making it possible for us to see a little more of the country and do our shared hobby. With warm geocach greetings from the Netherlands
It wasn't in the place I most expected, based on the name and the hint, but an easy enough find anyhow. Thank you!
After a walk along the Waterfall Track, followed by an icecream in Havelock, we collected a few of the remaining caches about town, starting with this - an easy find. TFTC!
Bumblebee is legal again, current wof and re-licenced for the summer. So, out we go for a buzz. First stop today is here. Easy find.
On a road trip with Supernannny and Net61 to Nelson exploring this part of the country. Quick park and grab after a yummy lunch at Rays Place cafe in Havelock. TFTC

There's been a bit of a slip in the area but cache still in place and easily accessible, thanks b&w for another well placed cache, this part of the world certainly is paradise.
Quick stop and find on our way home from Blenheim to Motueka via the scenic route- signed log as sono - thanks for the cache
Traveling through, but time for a quick cache between showers.
Thanks for putting this here for us to find

Gathering a couple of caches whilst waiting for our cruise. GZ wasn't paradise, but quick find all the same, thanks
Cache dry and in good order. Beautiful area. How far to Paradise depends on your destination . Best parking is when heading west to Nelson. TFTC B&W
Was worried that the evidence of recent small landslips would have buried any cache. But I found it, yay for me!
The forecast was good so we headed from Picton to Pelourus Bridge. This was found with my wife on day six of our eight day holiday in Marlborough based at Picton.
Today's destination is Pelorus Bridge. This was an easy park and grab. Thanks for replacing.
JDScout and I are spending a week in Picton. We have spent this week exploring Marlborough and finding a few geocaches. Thanks bumandworker for creating this hide. It was find 9516 for me.
======== NZ Mega 2021 ========
Planning for the NZ Mega 2021 event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, October 2021

The post is almost buried by a slip, and despite digging extensively the cache could not be recovered.
Day 12
Out from the ferry. Travelling on both islands for 22 days holidays. Easy to find. Thanks bumandworker for placing this cache

On a geocaching adventure around the country with myself, my car and my tent. Drove almost 4000km and collected 170 caches over a week of roadtripping, camping and seeing the beautiful sights of New Zealand. Lots of fun and so many great caches were found, as well as a lot of DNF's. Apologies for copy paste post. Thank you to all cache owners. Day three driving from Momorangi bay to Greymouth. Thank you for the cache
Meanwhile this is my third geocaching-trip to Middle-Earth . And I love it! [:X]
Still there are routes and places in this beautiful country that are on the 'discover-me' list and want to be visited and explored. .
Starting from Blenheim, today (#22) was dedicated to drive up northwest to Nelson via Havelock along the beautiful, scenic route [^] - a new experience .
The weather was again blessed with blue skies so cool!
And a lunch-stop for mussels in Havelock was a 'MUST' . YUMMY! [^]
Was happy to find quite a few geo-treasures that seamed the route - just like this one:
A nice little cutie at the side of the road [^].
Thanks to the owner [:X] for placing and maintaining this cache and best regards from Germany!

Down from Northland, visiting the South Island on a 7 day caching and sight seeing trip. The main object was to find the last four CANZ caches, finish off my D/T grid, fill as many spaces as possible in my Jasmer grid and then concentrate on special types, solved puzzles, completed challenges and those with good numbers of favourite points, plus maybe a few extras that were close to any of our stopping points.
The trip started off on a good note, with our rental cache mobile being little more than a week old and only 109 kms on the clock. It certainly had a few more by the time we returned it..!
Day three today and heading northward from Kaikoura and on toward Nelson. After stopping for a couple of others in Havelock, made this our last stop in the area and it was a quick find in the hint location. TFTC

Daddy found it. And loudly went CAW CAW. And I did the Gangnam Style dance. Then mommy had to put it back while we were being weirdos. TFTC
We DNFed our first try for today's cache, so ended up at this one, which I had been saving for a rainy day (literally). The three of us ambled in different directions; I was sure I was right, but no, it was Mr 3Prettys (with his canny 6th sense) who got his hands on the cache.
Signed and replaced as found, thank you for the cache.

Quick find this afternoon with eltee291 and crman1! Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache, bumandworker!
Found today with hingis20 and crman1. Another nice day in paradise so it meant we were out and about caching. Hingis20 and I are from Canada and in Blenheim visiting my daughter and her family. TFTC
Eltee291 and Hingis20 and I are on our way to Pelorus today. Another quick P&G tftc
22262 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we went from Nelson to Picton, to take the watertaxi to Punga Cove. During our drive we stopped many times to look for a cache and at the Lodge we made a walk to the 2 caches nearby. One of them was quite high, but it all gave a beautifull view on nature in new Zealand.
Most caches were found quite quickly. A few took more time. Some were too humid to write clearly. Muggles did not watch what we were doing.
bumandworker TFTC and the fun it brought us. Theo

TFTC......visiting from Sask. Canada and love caching in your country, On our way to Nelson from the ferry
Today we made a trip from Nelson to Wellington via Picton and the Interislander ferry, thereby visiting many new sightseeing locations and looking for caches, too. On this trip we searched, found and logged a lot of caches. The weather was between good and very good all day long, colder in the morning but it got warmer in the afternoon. Sun was our compagnion the whole trip.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had other things to do than observing harmless geocachers.
Thanks to bumandworker for showing us this location and for the fun we had at How Far to Paradise (Nelson/Marlborough). The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

I think paradise is anywhere in the area - it's all beautiful. Pulling over in the motor home is always tricky but managed today. Thanks for the placement bumandworker
Found all good nice and easy very cruise thanks B& W for your caches ...you seem to lots and lots well done and a big thanks for your efforts
Having driven from Hanmer Springs we were now getting close to our destination of Picton, so able to stop for a few finds. No trouble locating this one
This was the fourth day of my driving trip down to Oamaru for Geofest 2017. I stopped every five to ten kms or so along the way to grab a cache. This expanded my driving time to a total of two weeks to get there and home again. I ended up going a total of 3,500 kms. TFTC.
Left home at 5.30, to snag Daltons Track FTF, with The Seagnoid. With that bagged its time to snatch a couple more on our way home.
Another one slightly of my initial radar. But Nigel pulls me back into line for an easy snag and tag. Cheers

Sadly am now beginning to forget details of individual caches done today so my apologies for not making a specific commemt but tftc
Nearly in Haverlock, our stop for tonight. Soon found all ok. Greetings from UK. TFTC #7191
Our journey takes us to Wellington today. And on the way we could find a few caches.
Thanks for showing this place and hidding the cache.

Quick find whilst heading back to Nelson after a business trip out to the local mussel farms. Thanks BW!!
We got off the ferry in the early afternoon and followed the scenic road along the coast in direction of Nelson. Finally we didn't go very far because we stopped all the time for caches. Even a good park and grab takes a couple of minutes to log and to put back. Anyway, we enjoyed the stunning views until the light drizzle became a heavy rain, and we started to look for a campsite. Thanks to the owners for all these nice caches!
Too true we live in a great place, looked it the wrong place to stat with but found it OK and with 3 spare set of battery's are all flat, so looks like its time to go home
#8663. After having dinner in Havelock, we made another stop on State Highway 6 to check how far to paradise. GZ was all quiet when we visited. Quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

At the moment Pfote and me are on a work and travel backpacking trip through the world. After more than two years in Australia we took the chance to be so close to New Zealand, which is the farthest place on earth from our home. So we hopped over and will travel at least most of the south island in the upcoming months.
And another b&w statistic point. Quick and easy find.
TFTC and greetings from Germany.

Today we travelled from Richmond to Spring Creek with the main objective of doing some maintenance in Momorangi Bay (and hopefully) picking up a FTF in Linkwater. The weather was miserable - raining, spitting and constantly changing its mind to have a brief break but always cold and windy so we pick and chose our cache depending on the weather in the moment, sometimes not even getting out if the car for a PnG! Still fitted in a full days of caching with 46 finds - oh and yeah we did get that FTF!!
There was a 4WD with a trailer blocking the entrance here so we pulled over on our side and started to wait him out to see if he would leave. After a minute or two it didnt look like he was gonna move on so Mum started up and then what do you know he left so she quickly swung into the other side right after him. A nice easy find in the obvious position and then we were off to see if we were still in for a chance at that FTF. Thanks for the cache

Went for a late evening walk after a meal at a restaurant in town. No problems with this one, accurate coordinates took me straight there. Signed log, TFTC
