Busy area today, many people stopping for a break and toilet stop before moving on. TFTC
What a circus..... It took me 15 seconds to find the cache and almost 5 minutes to find the log. Having the cache in hand I went to my car to sign the log as there were muggles in full view at the picnic table. Opened the cache... dropped the log.... hence the five minute search.
Headed into this one, a number of people in their vans (likely trying to shelter from the brisk winds), read the logs, several of us attempted to climb (not needed- but was fun to watch). Noticed a convey of tractors nearby and we all pondered what they could be doing-- tractor convention?or tractor racing? Who knows?Log signed (needs replacing)This cache happened to fill a spot on my HiddenDate Calendar that I'm trying to fill (thanks for that).-----------------------------Out about today with Privatears + 2 with the goal of heading to Toowoomba to get some highly loved caches. Seems Miss 13 had exceptional caching abilities today as she almost automatically found so many caches today!2 of 20 today; traditionals, mailbox, multi-cache, mystery, earthcache and virtual.#871
14 July 2024 10:05amCassow11ry and myself had planned on a day out today to celebrate something important...as a last minute we had the addition of two geokids who were meant to be away, but weren't. (For some finds, it was good they weren't as Miss 13 had really sharp eagle eyes today!!) We targeted in and around Toowomba.End of copy paste:It was here that one of the kids misheard us talking and announced, "Only ferals find geocaches"! Not sure what that means for our community. This was found, although I'm not sure how discrete the climbing and chambering was while the van occupants were resting not too far away. The cache was found and replaced just as a tractor convention, 7 tractors strong arrived.TFTC
quick little easy find while we had a pit stop for toilet on our way to goondiwindi. found with Woodwahdi. tftc!! also dont know why the size for this cache says other. its definitely a micro??
Left Brisbane this morning with a Goal to pick up a few caches with a specific attribute attached with a view to nearing completion of a challenge cache Im working on. After finishing the climb, and the ascent I make my way back to the car and headed off to pick up a few trades in town and a few more on the road home. All were found quickly, log signed and returned safely for the next cacher.A big thanks to the cache owners for placing these caches for the enjoyment of others.Cheers
Rest Stop - HelidonNeeding some caches for a couple of challenges I'm working on, and it being such a beautiful day, I headed to Scenic Rim and Lockyer Valley to find some caches.A quick find here, log signed, all replaced as found. TFTC kestal# 10323CheersWillis007

The Minister for War and Finance is away for the weekend, so I have a free day today for a hike and some caching. With a lousy forecast of lots of rain in Brisbane, I thought I would try my chances and head west where the forecast looked better. It turned out to be a good decision as not a drop of rain fell on me today.Whilst looking at a possible list of caches last night, I targeted a local series of challenge caches, as well as a few other caches needed to complete other challenges. For one of the challenges I am working on, I need about half a dozen caches in the Lockyer Valley LGA.So on my way home, I stopped at a few drive by type Lockyer LGA caches including this one. A nice quick find here. Many thanks kestalPete#7,809
Gps had me walking back and forth, but once I worked out where I needed to be it was an easy find.
A quick easy find for us while stopping here for a break and making use of the facilities.TFTC
On my way from the Sunshine Coast to Toowoomba for a spot of caching, I decided that I would try to find a cache in as many different LGAs as possible on the way. This was my Lockyer Valley Regional Council LGA cache, the criteria being that it should be close to the highway to make things quicker, as I still had a big afternoon of hiking and caching to complete. On arrival, my iPhone had GZ in the middle of the road. There were numerous spots that a cache could be hiding and it took me way too long to find the tricky little monster. Being vertically challenged is definitely a disadvantage in looking for this one. I had looked in the spot several times, but couldnt see quite high enough. Just before I was about to give up, I used my iPhone camera to look where I couldnt see, and there was the cache! Phew! That took me way too long! Thanks, kestal, for the sneaky cache here (I think).
Traveling through the Lockyer Valley this morning, so took the opportunity to stop, revive and cache.TFTC. SL.Find # 1697.
Tftc kestal, found the cache here ( no guinea pigs tho )Log was full so we replaced it with a fresh one Pic of full one below
Day 121 of our greynomad trip up north from Vic which started in June, and day 120 of a streak. With QOGM done and dusted for it's final year we are heading the caravan towards home, well sort off. Goal is to tick off LGA's, and this brings this LGA to 3 findsTFTC TB's visited
4 sets of eyes looked and looked, walked around, think I figured where it should be but nothing there- did find a Guinea pig so kids came home with a new treasure!!
We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Today we headed off from Brisbane up around Ispwich towards Toowoomba.
Stopped off here and happy to make a quick find.
Thanks kestal for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

#4318 After spending the night here, this cache was a quick find at 7am. The wasps were sleeping in so I went for the grab. Logbook definitely full, but I found some space. See photo. Traveling from Here to The Entrance NSW today. Cheers from Canberra.
After spending the night here we discovered that here's also a cache nearby. What a great start to our day! Was an easy spot, a typical nano and thankfully didn't have any problem with the wasps
Found but unfortunately unable to acess log due to wasps found with @KC9419
On the way back from our recent stay in Toowoomba, we had a look at this overnighter area.
And of course found the cache and signed the log (which was pretty full and will now need a replacement).

# 2477 - A long overdue log as I had forgotten to log the last caches of our trip Brisbane-WA and back. We went to see the wildflowers in WA and everything else that was worth seeing, including a great number of caches!
We camped here for the night and in the morning I walked over to where I thought the cache would be. Easy find!

After a couple of nights away in Toowoomba we pulled into the rest stop to see what we could find. We knew that if we got home too early then there would only be housework waiting for us. If we took our time then we would get home just in time for the pub. tftc
With a work trip for Monday Tuesday Wednesday in Queensland I took the advantage and came up earlier to find caches and visit a few places I haven’t seen before. The day today started in macleay island and ended up in Toowoomba.
22 caches today which was an ok day, with a few great views among them.
Tftc
Great place for a cache in a Place with many resting caravans. Like th idea that you can stay for 20 hours. Ideal for a rest stop

Quick little weekend away, exploring the country side, with the ultimate goal to complete some of the Map of Australia Geo-Art on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
Nice easy find. Good condition , had to drive through some water to approach from the town side.
All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **kestal**

Heading home after doing table top mountain. Getting it back in place was a bit tricky thanks to the arrival of some muggles. Good spot.
Dayboro trip. Day 13. I finally came to the end of my time around Dayboro and it was time to head towards home. Today I made the journey west to Toowoombah and south to Moree. Plenty of flood damage about and a few detours in place. I did a bit of caching along the way, but not much on this long day of travel.
It was time for a break, so I stopped here and was able to locate this one fairly quickly.
Thanks for the cache kestal

Log sheet is full and some cachers including us are writing on the sides and any other gaps that they can find.
Found at %Time GAFF1.
We moved from a very wet Dayboro mega event site to another very wet camp site just outside of Toowoomba. Doesn't the rain ease the higher you get
Well from the spot where we were camped the cache was just 53 metres away, so p-pprass donned a raincoat and headed over to GZ and found the expected "non chosen" sized container which is totally full.
Thanks %OwnerName

Passing by we made a quick stop here at the bottom of the range before heading further east... as I approached gz I spotted an old friend I hadn't seen in a long while, and sure enough it was my prize. Cheers for the great hide here at this resting place kestal.
Found it with webbygirl65 on a previous visit. Great hide well done to the owner.
I do love these. Haven’t seen one for a while. The log has survived the wet weather.
