While up from Newcastle did an early morning drive around and found this cache. Thanks Whitey Wiskas for this cache.
We are in Tamworth for a few days to break our journey home. Camped at the paceway.
Certainly plenty to keep a cacher busy here.
Tftc whitey whiskas.

Took me a while as my phone GPS was about 5 metres out from a obvious spot. One would think I would have learnt not to guess.
Thanks again Whitey Wiskas

Revisiting Tamworth after living here for a brief moment 35 years ago. The goal was to join in on parkrun and to turn as many markers to yellow smilies!
Thank you Whitey Wiskas for your contribution to this great game.
A chilly 2° morning for my last day in Tamworth. A quick park and grab, signed the log and returned as found.

When I told my wife we would be sniffing around someone’s back door her first question was to ask what they had eaten last night. Once you’ve put your nose into a baby’s nappy that contains all sorts of corruption and chaos you can handle smelling anything and everything.
The whole vegemite alley discussion has got me thinking whether anal bleaching is something I should save some money for. It sounds awful and painful like all kinds of bleaching. I just can’t be sure what happens if my date turns up in the tabloids without my permission. I just realised there is a school nearby and my backspace key doesn’t work so I retract all my comments. tftc

No recollection of parking opposite a school, so think this is one of the caches I drove past last week. Not scared of DNFs but pretty sure this doesn’t qualify.

#7139 Day 6 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are in an around Tamworth NSW. We still needed to grab a few we missed on the way in and explore Tamworth in general. The weather was warm but calm today and lots of people are on the move.
Log was wet and the grass was very long.
Thanks Whitey Wiskas

Every farmer and his dog decided to drive by when we were looking for the backdoor. Got it in the end though.
After a glorious week staying at Armidale, today we spent the day collecting caches around Tamworth.
Thankyou to the CO's for placing and maintaining these caches

Had me looking for a bit until the GPS settled down and was nearly on the mark thanks
No luck here? To be honest, we had a bunch of unfounds out in front of us, so gave it a quick 'public-service' type look and kept moving!
Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 4. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we decided to stay an extra day around Tamworth and as far away as Uralla. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost every cache.
Thanks.

20,508. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
Day 4 of our trip. Headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be anothyer big days caching. We aimed to hit some more of the trails around the region. Next stop of the day, and we came up with a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
TFTC Whitey Wiskas !!

Felt quite exposed signing the log here due to multiple cars going theough the gates. No one stopped and asked questions so probably just fine. Tftc
Today I was driving solo to Armidale from Orange, so made the most of it by picking up some caches along the way.
Last one for the day, as my ETA was around dinnertime. Quick find & I got some strange looks from a passing car as they slowed right down to see what i was upto. TFTC.

In Tamworth for work and a little geocaching with Scruffy the geodog. Hot day today! Found with thanks to Whitey Wiskas for the cache. Log was a bit damp.
Found during a road trip from Brisbane to Adelaide with five days travelling and four overnight stops, via Ballina, Armidale, Tamworth (staying overnight), Bylong, Sofala, Bathurst (staying overnight), Cowra, Young, Cootamundra, Junee, Wodonga (staying overnight), Echuca (staying overnight), Kerang, Ouyen, Pinnaroo and on to Adelaide. With limited time for stops along the way , we targeted one or two caches in each of the LGA's we traversed, and a few extras at the overnight stops to boost the tally. I had a few hours to spare in the early morning so decided to complete a loop of caches near Tamworth before heading on our way. Thanks for the cache Whitey Wiskas!
Found by Mary and David at 11:55. Wondering if the farmers can afford to pay boarding fees these days. Unbelievable evidence of the drought. Has to be seen to be believed. Our thanks to Whitey Wiskas.
Found while on a geocaching holiday with tmann421.
Enjoyed the trip around and all the great hides.
Stamped TM/WW NZ, or if in pen our full names
