Today we set out on a loop, first heading down the highway to Uralla and then returning via the Mihi Trail to reach Armidale late afternoon. We found some great caches along our way and explored Uralla completing caches and an Ad Lab.The Mihi Trail was an unexpected surprise as we really enjoyed the undulating countryside and a number of historic homes and farming buildings. The trail also pointed out a number of interesting features we may well have missed. A variety of hides, all in good condition and all easily found made for a pleasant drive.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache geono..**SKI Pair****
Finally found this one after several attempts. Log is saturated from recent rains.
Reperio 17:54Day 2 of our tour of Tamworth caching trip, and Master Vitruvius and I decided to head out towards Uralla and Armidale, and eventually towards Hillgrove and Wollomombi. With lots of drive by caches, most the finds were nice and quick, with a few nicely crafted caches thrown into the mix. The most pleasingly part of the day was that nearly all the caches were available and found. Not sure about the replaced cache, but found the previous cache still at GZ so signed that one. The cache was in poor condition. Container was dented and log soaked. Gratias geono. As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

It was a cold, windy, and rainy morning in Glen Innes and the weather has improved a lot since then. The sun has come out and the wind is disappeared. It is going be a good day out and about geocaching. I been as far South as I need to go and found enough caches to suit a certain challenge cache in Brisbane. So, I am heading North again and nearly back where I started. Unfortunately, no luck for me today.
This is the right time of year to come for this one without any leaves. Needle in a haystack – you either see it or you don’t – we didn’t.
A gorgeous day to be caching in this most scenic of locations. Thanks for hiding this cache and giving us the opportunity to explore. Glad it wasn't on THAT one
Nice sunny day and I decided to do a loop around the backroads which brought me out at Armidale.
Bugger... I think I can, I think I can, oh there yer go

We had fun deciding what the six sisters would be, a find was made but how do we, yep TOTT in car. TFTC
Had a preconceived notion of what the sisters might be so it was a pleasant surprise to find them. Cache was soon spotted, uh oh!! Thank goodness we had the necessary TOTT. Thanks geono for maintaining
Tough narrowing down gz under trees but we found it when gps finally played the game with us...king parrots here...lovely...text geono

Couldn’t find the right sister! The overgrown grass surrounding each sister didn’t help but thanks anyway, lovely spot
On our way from Armidale to Tamworth today
Stopped at this little park, however no luck for us today even though we checked each sister

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 5. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we moved north to Armidale, but not in a straight line. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost every cache.
Thanks for the cache Edisimpson

20,626. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
Day 5 of our trip. Packed up the rather wet campsite and headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be another big days caching. We aimed to cache our way up to Armidale. Next stop of the day, and we came up with a fairly quick find after searching all 6 sisters ! Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.

**# 25663** Found on our 2019 winter escape trip to Qld with Mrs Roosta.
A perfect Spring day for another drive around the countryside while at Armidale.
Some nice country roads around here and lots of dry country too.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly good safe hides.
We also found it a fair way off at Sth .119

Widened my search to about 12 meters. On our way to QOGM (Blackall) day 11 of our trip. 19 caches for the day and 376 for the trip. Favorite point.TFTC
Day 3 in streak week. Left work on time today with Roarts with the express purpose of finding a cache. Nice easy find. TFTC
A quick trip here resulted in a smiley in the small window between work & childcare pickup. TFTC!
While travelling to Tamworth with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to find a few caches on the way...
Well my GPS said it was one of the other sisters, but we soon found the correct one and she happily shared the prize ...
All Good .. TFTC ..

The six Sistrrs I wondered where they were and as I rounded I counted 6 sisters but which one is going to help me with my search. Only one sister offered to help me and I signed the log on top of her. Replaced cache as found. TFTC
On my new eBike - thought I'd find a few local caches I haven't yet found! Nice little quiet spot. It wasn't until I read some comments that I finally went back to the first sister I sat on to get a reading that it came to hand.

Arrived at the sisters and our GPSrs took us straight to the centre of the circle. Coincidence? We did the rounds and eventually spotted it. Cache in good condition. Thanks Edisimpson
On our way from Tamworth to Armidale via the back roads. Thank you to all the COs who have placed their caches on the roads less travelled to help us enjoy our visit.
Never knew this park was here, lovely spot - tftc and fot taking us to new places!
What a coincidence [:o]
This place was unknown to me until this morning [:o)]
I wobbled the pushbike in,
and set about examining each of the sisters in turn.
Hang on !!
It's not what it sounds like
Me examination of each sister was purely geological
And after doing the rounds a couple of times,
I finally found the cache in the long bushy grass of one of the sisters
Pretend I didn't say that !!

Looked for this before with no luck. This time we stumbled on it in the first place we looked. TFTC
It was be nice if the council mowed their grass as movement was very difficult. Soon spotted a tell tale and had the cache in hand. Not sure what the little black things crawling on it were - and don't want to know! Thanks.
We agree that the co-ords are about 11 meters out on this one, we also did the rounds of the sisters before finding the cache. SL TFTC
Six, yes. Sisters, yep the have that family resemblance. Long, long grass all around them, concealing all the hideyholes.
Um well, yes I'd agree with pprass on the coordinates. My GPS-R marked the spot at:
S 30 33.116 E 151 39.296
SL, TFTC, Edisimpson.
My # 441

On a caching adventure to Uralla/Armidale/Hillgrove with pprass we set out to see some country side and some interesting caches.
Wonder why its called 'The six sisters' ? well we ended up checking all of the sisters when we finally came to the last one and yep there it was.
Thanks for the cache Edisimpson

Found at 3:18 PM GAFF1 in the company of NurseHayley on a 3 day weekend touring Uralla/Armidale/Hillgrove.
The first full day of our weekend after leaving our van at Geono HQ.
Ah! Now we understand where the name comes from [^] However because the co-ords were a tad out (10 metres) we had to check all of them and guess where it was found - yep the sixth [B)]
Wonder why they are there?
Thanks Edisimpson.

After a failed attempt due to not knowing which road to take, we drove down our last option, and before you knew it we were there! Had a decent look and almost gave up, but upon widening our search area (a fair 10m) we made a very easy find. Tftc!
Easy find today. Great little park that would not be noticed all be it for a cache!

Our last nights at Urallla, today we headed to Armidale for the day
This little parkland you would drive right by & not even know it was here.
We thought the easiest way to locate this cache would to visit each sister.
Thanks for placing this cache Edisimpson

Nice location. The cache is in a good position. Previous logs could mean that it is not the original spot, but it is signed.
Thanks for showing me this place

It's a nice day. Geopartner is in town to check out the special offers in the shops. Just the excuse I need to slip away for a liaison with The Six Sisters.
My HTC mobile took me to a GZ where I expected it would be; given the name of the cache. However, being the vigilant geocacher that I am and there being no hint, I decided to take advice from previous logs and cast around a metre or ten from the designated spot. Looked in all the likely hiding places for ten minutes or more, but came up with nothing. The park has been well looked after and the grass has been obviously mown in the past couple of weeks.
So, encouraged by Little Jimmy, I went back to the place that my mobile was indicating, right in the centre of the sisters. There, at my feet and in plain view in the grass, was the cache. It had, most likely, been disturbed by the mower or whipper snipper because it was a little worse for wear. The lid came off easily and the log, and all else inside, was perfectly dry. Little Jimmy and I were quite amazed that it was all still there; the last find was logged more than six weeks ago.
So Edisimpson, not knowing where you had originally placed it, the cache is now hidden quite close to where we found it. It's been camouflaged to blend in with it's surroundings and Little Jimmy has given it his seal of approval.
Thanks for the adventure this morning, Edisimpson, a favourite point from me!

Finally got this one after reading previous logs and discovering cache 10m away from GZ. Quick find once I was in the right spot! Very overgrown here at the moment but nice spot. TFTC edi
This afternoon we had a very unsuccessful search could not find the cache in all of the spots showing as G Z so give up and hopefully I know it will clarify it is still there or Muggle.
After second search for another 10 minutes we found the cache about 10 + metres away from where the rock location was so it's now been logged in as a find.
It was a bleak day to be doing anything outside today so it was a safe bet there'd be no one in the park. We hadn't ventured in to time librarian turf before, what a nice place to live. Great spot for a cache, thanks Edisimpson (and MMN).
Ok, so I am having a real run of dnf in Armidale lately I think I am getting worse at this, not better! Thanks anyway for the hunt Edi
5.26pm Quick grab, log and off .thanks Edisimpon

Has this been Muggles already? Spent 15 mins having a good look with Weebindi and no luck. This was to be my #100th too!
Delighted to have my first to find, edisimpson! Flick has had a few. What a lovely spot. Very glad I put the paintbrush down and came to look. Thanks for the cache!
Will walk down the road from my house and search after work. Finally a cache udner one km from me - that will fill a gap in my stats somewhere. Thanks in anticipation edisimpson
Found on a quick school run home. Be careful - I'll be watching future cachers .... always watching....
Thanks Edisimpson.
Thanks Edisimpson.
