Logs
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in North Western Sydney, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Holidays Avina BIG4 Holiday Park at Vineyard. Planning on exploring the suburbs of Lalor Park, Kings Park, Marayong, Glenwood, The Ponds, Rouse Hill, Scheyville, Agnes Banks, Yarramundi, Hawkesbury Heights, and Castlereagh. Hoping to collect some more previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some more Adventure Labs and SideTracked caches, and accumulate some more "units of fuel" for the "Cosmic Quest" souvenir challenge with a view to scoring the 100 point Ultra fuel souvenir. Our final day will have us going via Nurragingy Reserve at Doonside, for some more caching and a visit to the Nurragingy Miniature Railway, before taking the M7 & M2 Motorways back to home. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.Today (day 2) our first mission for the day was to log our 7000th Milestone find with a Mystery/MultiCache at historic Scheyville, followed by a nearby previously solved Mystery/Puzzle, which sadly ended with a DNF. Then it was a drive over to Agnes Banks for a MultiCache, followed by a drive up Springwood Road to Hawkesbury Heights, collecting numerous Traditional caches and Adventure Lab stages along the way. Ended our day with a drive down Castlereagh Road for a Traditional cache and an Adventure Lab stage. A total of 20 finds for the day (day 2).This one was next, as we drove up Springwood Road, but try as we might we were unable to locate any trace of a cache at GZ. Checked all over & around the wooden corner post, and then expanded the search zone outward, but nothing cache-like was found. Another sad blue face for our geo-map. TFTH anyway alnic39.

A bit of water in the vicinity of gz had frazeydaze jumping pools of water. TFTC alnic39.
Out caching with oldmorty.
Wrong approach had me jumping across small streams towards GZ.
Should have walked further up the road and kept dry.
Quick find, once at GZ.

Found with Grandma_1.
I had a spare log on me, so replaced the full and damaged log. Old log still in cache. Also fitted a spare rubber O-ring onto the cache to keep log dry.
No further maintenance needed by the CO.

Heading south along Springwood Road I stopped for this cache. Didn't see any town Hamlets here, just a few isolated houses. I pulled off the road when the GPS pinged and looked around. I'd checked the hint at the previous stop and right near where I stopped looked very promising. Nothing there!
At this point I contemplated driving on for my other planned caches and stopping on the way back for this one. Changed my mind and decided to walk where the GPS was sort of indicating which didn't look too promising, that was until I got close when I saw what I wanted, well hidden by the surrounding bushland.
The cache hadn't been very well hidden by the last finder so after I'd signed the log I used some natural camouflage to hide the cache better, and perhaps protect it from all the rain we seem to be having.
Yep, the logsheet is full to overflowing and needs replacing.

A quick find with Rama497 as we made our way out west to tackle more of The Road Less Travelled Series. Thanks.

Came to Windsor today to do the Lab adventure and then move on to Glenbrook to do another one. Really enjoy the labs lately, but of course can't resist if there is anything else that turns up along the way. Mostly quick found traditionals today.

Day out in the area quickly grabbed this one.
CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Streak day 62
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

I spent a lovely day pottering around the lower Blue Mountains today. Nice to find some caches too. TFTC
Unfortunately couldn’t locate with the combined brains and eyes of Ginger Ninja, Queenie and Killa.
Quick walk up from the YMCA. Was hoping to find some remnants of the Hamlet here but only found the cache out in the open. Replaced safely as per hint. Thanks alnic39.
