On our way to see the inlaws in St Leonards and thought we would find some caches in the way. TFTC Saturated needs maintanence put my own piece of paper in there
Staying in Geelong for last few days of my trip. Haven't cached this area very much.
Last day on the Bellarine Peninsula. Even though storms have left the whole area very wet, there is still time to collect a few more geocaches. Off early just before the dawn, but no change of seeing the sunrise, so I didn't worry about getting to a gemreat beach location to watch the sun rise this time.As such, I thought I would continue collecting the D2B caches on Andersons Road.Good coordinates for an easy find. Thanks for the cache, deshut.Hunter
Thank you. Ive lost count today. Ill see if I can get in a few more before hubby gets too hungry
Over here in aussieland visiting family. I have 2 weeks left till I head back to the US so grabbing as many geocaches Is i possibly can. Inside cache dry inside log baggy wet. Added a piece of paper for log.
I don't know how long it has been since our following the D2B series, but we were over this way, and ... why not! Actually, I think people we know live in the house nearby! TFTC
I thought that I would give this series a go today given the nice weather and the opportunity to add a few finds to help with a souvenir that i am working towards. There are a few caches that need a bit of work, either looking a bit tired in condition or have a wet log. Some of the descriptions in relation to the type of container or size of the cache need updating. Otherwise, it was a pleasant countryside drive with minimal traffic. Overall I spent around 2 hours on this series. TFTC.
Decided to give this trail a go and managed to find most of the ones I attempted today. Some took a few a minutes while some were spotted on approach. All up a good little series with different types of hides. All caches in good condition unless otherwise noted.
Thanks deshut.... All caches in good condition unless otherwise noted.

B had some cache maintenance to do in Portarlington and a Lego purchase to pick up
In Ocean Grove, so set off with C in that general direction with a 3rd objective of starting to clear through more of the many many unfound caches we have on the peninsula. After starting out in Port we headed across towards D2B and Do You Believe in, chasing some bulk PnG smilies as our find numbers in February are somewhat lower than most other months, and such things come in handy for challenge caches.
We started mid trail on D2B and soon realised quick PnG’s were not going to be the case. Many of this series need some love, we found anything from empty containers with no logs, to damaged containers, to logbooks thats were just paper mush. Fortunately Do You Believe in was better as C’s 7yo patience was starting to wear thin.
Thanks for placing these caches for us to find.

Well, third time lucky!!
Did we over think this?!!! Yes!!!
Spent ages here looked everywhere possible in every nook and cranny … noop noop noop…. Frustration plus and about to chuck it in and suddenly Mr Riddell finds it just sitting on the grass!! So he figures out where it has come from… which we had already examined soooo many times.
No wonder all the noobs can find it and we can’t!.
Meanwhile the log is absolutely soaked.
It gets the Royal heater treatment… on the hot car bonnet, in the 33 degree sunshine and next to the hot engine heat. It all dried in moments. Cache is packed with a new tiny bag containing the log and Mr Riddell restored it to where he believes it belongs.
What a saga?!

Came back 3 months later, ended up finding it. Very clever hide and much smaller than expected. Good stuff
Back down on the Bellarine during another visit to my daughters place in the area. Didn’t really intend to be doing any hunting while I was down this time, or parkrunning for that matter, and didn’t come prepared for said activities. So after freezing myself half to death yesterday morning at You Yangs parkrun, I covered up hoping to keep somewhat warmer this morning, but unfortunately, Mother Nature had other ideas by providing a gale force cold wind that almost rendered my hands useless. But nonetheless, I persevered until I could no longer take it.
A nice bit of camo but unfortunately the log was nought but paper mache (probably spelt wrong)

This one was really water logged. I didn’t want to sign as it was so wet. Perhaps a new container is needed? Took a bit longer in our search but good spot!
No cache to be seen anywhere!
We checked either side of ground zero and all got was sopping wet boots!!!
We are very disappointed in this series.
It sounds like someone is knocking these caches off!
Sad to say.

Unbelievable! Unlucky again!!! Will have to hit someone up for a tip in the right direction... Bigger!!! Now the series will have 2 faces that are blue even if I get the rest of the freshies... Ah well I love it out here in the dark so happy to return...
Searched for this for a little while as GPS wasn’t quite right. Nice camouflage but log is a bit soggy. Out on the day before school goes back with geoson collecting this interesting series. Didn’t realise there is still plenty of farming in the area. Thank you for bringing us down here. TFTC
My GPSR wouldn't settle here and nothing was standing out. I spent a while checking out the geotrails and still nothing was appearing. After checking the logs, I saw a photo but nothing even remotely looked like it. Hmm, now I was stumped! I was going to move on when I had a sudden thought to look a bit further out. I retraced my steps. Sometimes, you just need to take the right path to find what you are looking for. The tiny little cache was loose when I picked up the log, but I put it back nice and securely. TFTC
Darn, will come back when I don't have to rush off to work... See you next time D2B thanks for a great morning and start to my week
Decided to smash out some caches this cold and foggy Sunday. Sun is now out in all its glory trying it's best to warm this place up. Smart lil hide. Thanks for the effort it placing and maintaining such a big series
A nice hide.
Off on another day caching around the Bellarine Peninsula with our good mate Rebel Acts.
A mixture of trails and other caches. The trails here are a bit of a treat as rather than the preform tubes or similar containers we have generally experienced in the past, most containers are of good size and often are a bit of a feature of the theme in the cache name.
We were racing the weather a bit trying to get in as much as possible before rain set in, but still had to battle showers. Lucky we were prepared.
All in all, another great day caching.
All logs signed with RASP (Rebel Acts, SKI Pair).

Taking a short cut back from Portarlington and saw that there was a cache series to do along the way. Found a few on a cold afternoon. Will have to come back to do the rest. TFTC
I have a free day to go out caching so today I have started out with this power trail. after today I will have found more caches then all of last year..... I loved all the different cache types all I found them all, some logs sheets were wet some caches were out in the open but they are all there. Happy to put a smiley on all these caches. TFTC.
Set of for the arvo to find some caches while the rest of our family and friends were busy at home
Had a young fellow with me so decided to tackle this series so he wouldn't get too bored but he loved them and we did more than I thought we would
Sorry for the genetic message but there was too many to remember each one and I am now logging them back at home

This one revealed that the camo was fine but the container for the log had been attacked and the log was mush. So we replaced the little container for the log, put in a replacement log, re-assembled the cache and put it back in the same place. Ready to be found.
Good camo but I agree with much needed maintenance. Tried to sign log but too wet to write!
