Found quickly. Someone had been having fun with some fireworks here, found the remains
Staying in Geelong for last few days of my trip. Haven't cached this area very much.
Off for an early morning caching run trying to find a few geocaches and catch the Easter Bunny in the act. Missed the Easter Bunny but caught the sun rising over the horizon.Followed the geotrail but didn't find anything for a little while. Thanks for the cache, deshut.Hunter
Over here in aussieland visiting family. I have 2 weeks left till I head back to the US so grabbing as many geocaches as I possibly can.Nice little spot. Waved to the duckies in the dam.
I thought that I would give this series a go today given the nice weather and the opportunity to add a few finds to help with a souvenir that i am working towards. There are a few caches that need a bit of work, either looking a bit tired in condition or have a wet log. Some of the descriptions in relation to the type of container or size of the cache need updating. Otherwise, it was a pleasant countryside drive with minimal traffic. Overall I spent around 2 hours on this series. TFTC.
Decided to give this trail a go and managed to find most of the ones I attempted today. Some took a few a minutes while some were spotted on approach. All up a good little series with different types of hides. All caches in good condition unless otherwise noted.
Thanks deshut.... All caches in good condition unless otherwise noted.

Just walking along collecting caches.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

B had some cache maintenance to do in Portarlington and a Lego purchase to pick up
In Ocean Grove, so set off with C in that general direction with a 3rd objective of starting to clear through more of the many many unfound caches we have on the peninsula. After starting out in Port we headed across towards D2B and Do You Believe in, chasing some bulk PnG smilies as our find numbers in February are somewhat lower than most other months, and such things come in handy for challenge caches.
We started mid trail on D2B and soon realised quick PnG’s were not going to be the case. Many of this series need some love, we found anything from empty containers with no logs, to damaged containers, to logbooks thats were just paper mush. Fortunately Do You Believe in was better as C’s 7yo patience was starting to wear thin.

Enjoying this trail of caches on a long weekend.
It was wet and the grass was long in a lot of places which meant I was soaked by the end of the day.
I had to stop at woolies to get extra socks before stopping at the motel for the next days adventures.
Thanks for the cache.

Back down on the Bellarine during another visit to my daughters place in the area. Didn’t really intend to be doing any hunting while I was down this time, or parkrunning for that matter, and didn’t come prepared for said activities. So after freezing myself half to death yesterday morning at You Yangs parkrun, I covered up hoping to keep somewhat warmer this morning, but unfortunately, Mother Nature had other ideas by providing a gale force cold wind that almost rendered my hands useless. But nonetheless, I persevered until I could no longer take it.
Had no trouble locating this hide!

Good find! Well hidden. Although Ethan and Alana left an inappropriate drawing in the book, very disappointed in them
Nice quick find for us today!

In St Leonard today to attend 2 events. The weather was kind, the crowds were absent, apart from geocachers and for us the caches were plenty as we haven't collected a lot in this area.
I thought I could tick off a number of these before the event but time got away from LL. Headed back after the events to collect some more.
Was nice to catch up with the CO at the events.
Quick find here.
Thanks for placing and maintaining deshut.

How this little cache hasn’t blown away has got me stumped! I found it uncovered but it’s obviously well protected from the winds and dust. It’s not that hard to find, it seems that Alana and Ethan found it and left some of their most talented artwork… TFTC
Another quick find. Nearby dam has an odd shape. Out on the day before school goes back with geoson collecting this interesting series. Didn’t realise there is still plenty of farming in the area. Thank you for bringing us down here. TFTC
Another find under the eyes of the local cattle. This day isn’t getting any less windy…
Decided to smash out some caches this cold and foggy Sunday. Thanks for the effort it placing and maintaining such a big series. That's a big logbook for a small container
With a hectic day in Geelong and a lecture to attend online, it made sense to pick up a simple cache that we could park and grab. We passed a couple of cars about half a kilometre from this cache; they looked like they were looking for another cache in this series. There is a nice parking spot close to this one which, given it was dark, it was good to get the black geomobile off the road. We jumped out and went to the most likely hiding spot for the cache and were rewarded with a quick, easy find. It only took 2 hours and 29 minutes less than our previous find. The cache was in excellent condition and nicely hidden. Thank you for this cache deshut.
The workers have just done a “U-turn and come back past us. Great stuff, we’re in the clear now.
Off on another day caching around the Bellarine Peninsula with our good mate Rebel Acts.
A mixture of trails and other caches. The trails here are a bit of a treat as rather than the preform tubes or similar containers we have generally experienced in the past, most containers are of good size and often are a bit of a feature of the theme in the cache name.
We were racing the weather a bit trying to get in as much as possible before rain set in, but still had to battle showers. Lucky we were prepared.
All in all, another great day caching.
All logs signed with RASP (Rebel Acts, SKI Pair).

I have a free day to go out caching so today I have started out with this power trail. after today I will have found more caches then all of last year..... I loved all the different cache types all I found them all, some logs sheets were wet some caches were out in the open but they are all there. Happy to put a smiley on all these caches. TFTC.
Set of for the arvo to find some caches while the rest of our family and friends were busy at home
Had a young fellow with me so decided to tackle this series so he wouldn't get too bored but he loved them and we did more than I thought we would
Sorry for the genetic message but there was too many to remember each one and I am now logging them back at home

With The ring of Swiss cheese coming down we could now catch up with our Metro Mates, so once again I teamed up with Omegaman1971 and headed to the Geelong area to do some of the many labs and several caches in the area. We had a great time exploring the area.
This was one of the caches we found today.
Thanks deshut for the cache.

decided to try log one more before going home today and stepped right into the muddy water that was hidden among the long grass, called it quits before even attempting to sign the log, will return once when the weathers a bit nicer
Looks like the wind had got to it, but we located it and returned it I its . TFTC
21 A cool and cloudy Thursday morning. Ideal for a caching bike ride, or so I thought.
time to tackle some more of the D2b trail. Well 24 more finds, 1 Dnf. no lost equipment.
But severely beaten by the Bellarine bombers (mozzies) and when the battery and backup charger both gave up it was time to retreat. "I shall return!"
Thankyou for the series and the adventure. Cheers

In order to continue my streak doubling my finds to 1000 in 2 months, I decided to visit the Bellarine Peninsula on the other side of Port Phillip Bay for the day.

Back with 2 Geosons today to attempt the rest of this trail. The 13 year old was quick to find this one much to the 10 year old’s disgust. Very windy day. Tftc
My first Christmas without anywhere to go. Christmas is a tough day when you don’t have family to spend it with. Decided to make the most of it, and ended up having a wonderful day. Beautiful sunny day, my geowhippet Reggie for company and a stack of caches out there to find. Quick find here. TFTC and for making my Christmas Day special
After having had enough of people and finding parking spots and needing to be mindful of other drivers we have headed for the dirt.
We have completed three trails today with only one DNF, I suppose you need to leave yourself something to do on another trip. The cache hides have been unusual and mostly different. There has been considerable care put into the construction of the caches. These are the little things that have you wondering what the next cache will be. Because we assumed, at times, what the hide would be we spent far longer at some than what we needed to do. Most of the co-ords were good, a few seemed a bit off but that could be the weather, or it just may have been our GPS not playing nice. We think we may be due for a new GPS; it has had quite a workout over the years. Some are now in need of a little TLC as the contents have been wet at some point with some of them.
It was good not to a trail where all the containers were the same and the cache hides also the same. SL TFTC
