Found out in the open, have moved slightly to match the hint and to make the GPS more accurate
There was a little gang of sheep but they were too fast for my photography skills!
Staying in Geelong for last few days of my trip. Haven't cached this area very much.
Needs a new log book it is to old did not need the phone for gps and you get only 1 bar of 4g in the area
Off for an early morning caching run trying to find a few geocaches and catch the Easter Bunny in the act. Missed the Easter Bunny but caught the sun rising over the horizon.Spent too long following an animal trail, instead of the GeoTrail. Thanks for the cache, deshut.Hunter

I thought that I would give this series a go today given the nice weather and the opportunity to add a few finds to help with a souvenir that i am working towards. There are a few caches that need a bit of work, either looking a bit tired in condition or have a wet log. Some of the descriptions in relation to the type of container or size of the cache need updating. Otherwise, it was a pleasant countryside drive with minimal traffic. Overall I spent around 2 hours on this series. TFTC.
Good quick find here and I was able to make up some time from earlier stops. Log was signed and I was on my way again.
Thanks deshut...

2nd last of the day and an each cache to find here.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

B had some cache maintenance to do in Portarlington and a Lego purchase to pick up
In Ocean Grove, so set off with C in that general direction with a 3rd objective of starting to clear through more of the many many unfound caches we have on the peninsula. After starting out in Port we headed across towards D2B and Do You Believe in, chasing some bulk PnG smilies as our find numbers in February are somewhat lower than most other months, and such things come in handy for challenge caches.
We started mid trail on D2B and soon realised quick PnG’s were not going to be the case. Many of this series need some love, we found anything from empty containers with no logs, to damaged containers, to logbooks thats were just paper mush. Fortunately Do You Believe in was better as C’s 7yo patience was starting to wear thin.

Back down on the Bellarine during another visit to my daughters place in the area. Didn’t really intend to be doing any hunting while I was down this time, or parkrunning for that matter, and didn’t come prepared for said activities. So after freezing myself half to death yesterday morning at You Yangs parkrun, I covered up hoping to keep somewhat warmer this morning, but unfortunately, Mother Nature had other ideas by providing a gale force cold wind that almost rendered my hands useless. But nonetheless, I persevered until I could no longer take it.
It’s been nice travelling along this quiet back road in this freezing blustery morning. But being able to cache along the way was definitely a bonus. This hide was quickly spotted and retrieved. One more….

In St Leonard today to attend 2 events. The weather was kind, the crowds were absent, apart from geocachers and for us the caches were plenty as we haven't collected a lot in this area.
I thought I could tick off a number of these before the event but time got away from LL. Headed back after the events to collect some more.
Was nice to catch up with the CO at the events.
Thanks for placing and maintaining deshut.

After finding D2B 22 to be needing no work on it, I felt it was my day when I quickly found this one in place. However the lid had a hole in it, so a new container soon solved that problem. Ready to be found.
Weird to go to two caches in a row expecting big problems and then to find there was no cause for alarm, and things were easily remedied.
### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there deshut,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Further off the road than others in the series. GZ spot on. Saw a fox too! Out on the day before school goes back with geoson collecting this interesting series. Didn’t realise there is still plenty of farming in the area. Thank you for bringing us down here. TFTC
Quick find and #2 for today. The container needs replacing as the lid is broken. TFTC nonetheless. TNLN.
Couldn’t get gps under the trees showed no closer than 15m - try again another day
Decided to smash out some caches this cold and foggy Sunday. Containers lid is fully smashed. I was surprised that the logbook was dry. It will need replacing.
Back to a deserted road-makes stopping and starting much easier. Straightforward find, lid broken but all dry inside at present.
Off on another day caching around the Bellarine Peninsula with our good mate Rebel Acts.
A mixture of trails and other caches. The trails here are a bit of a treat as rather than the preform tubes or similar containers we have generally experienced in the past, most containers are of good size and often are a bit of a feature of the theme in the cache name.
We were racing the weather a bit trying to get in as much as possible before rain set in, but still had to battle showers. Lucky we were prepared.
All in all, another great day caching.
All logs signed with RASP (Rebel Acts, SKI Pair).

Out and caching in the dark again. Good headlamps make this so much easier. Very much needed when looking along the roadside in this part of the Bellarine, as there is on grass fallen trees and other obstacles to work around. This cache was located fairly quickly and was surprisingly very dry. The lid on the sistema is totalled and offers no protection to the cache contents. We stamped the log and carefully placed the cache back in its hiding space, hoping that it will protect it from any rain. Thank you for this cache deshut.
I have a free day to go out caching so today I have started out with this power trail. after today I will have found more caches then all of last year..... I loved all the different cache types all I found them all, some logs sheets were wet some caches were out in the open but they are all there. Happy to put a smiley on all these caches. TFTC.
Set of for the arvo to find some caches while the rest of our family and friends were busy at home
Had a young fellow with me so decided to tackle this series so he wouldn't get too bored but he loved them and we did more than I thought we would
Sorry for the genetic message but there was too many to remember each one and I am now logging them back at home

I’ve been expecting to see a snake all day. I think I disturbed one in the long grass here. Kept searching regardless with success. Container lid is broken though but still dry
With The ring of Swiss cheese coming down we could now catch up with our Metro Mates, so once again I teamed up with Omegaman1971 and headed to the Geelong area to do some of the many labs and several caches in the area. We had a great time exploring the area.
This was one of the caches we found today.
Thanks deshut for the cache.

24 A cool and cloudy Thursday morning. Ideal for a caching bike ride, or so I thought.
time to tackle some more of the D2b trail. Well 24 more finds, 1 Dnf. no lost equipment.
But severely beaten by the Bellarine bombers (mozzies) and when the battery and backup charger both gave up it was time to retreat. "I shall return!"
Thankyou for the series and the adventure. Cheers.

In order to continue my streak doubling my finds to 1000 in 2 months, I decided to visit the Bellarine Peninsula on the other side of Port Phillip Bay for the day.

My first Christmas without anywhere to go. Christmas is a tough day when you don’t have family to spend it with. Decided to make the most of it, and ended up having a wonderful day. Beautiful sunny day, my geowhippet Reggie for company and a stack of caches out there to find. Quick find here. TFTC and for making my Christmas Day special
After having had enough of people and finding parking spots and needing to be mindful of other drivers we have headed for the dirt.
We have completed three trails today with only one DNF, I suppose you need to leave yourself something to do on another trip. The cache hides have been unusual and mostly different. There has been considerable care put into the construction of the caches. These are the little things that have you wondering what the next cache will be. Because we assumed, at times, what the hide would be we spent far longer at some than what we needed to do. Most of the co-ords were good, a few seemed a bit off but that could be the weather, or it just may have been our GPS not playing nice. We think we may be due for a new GPS; it has had quite a workout over the years. Some are now in need of a little TLC as the contents have been wet at some point with some of them.
It was good not to a trail where all the containers were the same and the cache hides also the same. SL TFTC

Good hint made for a quick find. The cache was exposed so we’ve covered it up. TFTC SL
A quiet Sunday afternoon with no real plans so I decided on a drive to collect a few caches as I chase my 1000th regular and my 5000th cache. Quiet roads around here. Thanks to for the placement and fun.
