As others have mentioned, the log is drenched. I couldn't sign it as it's getting slimy. Took a photo if CO requires proof of visit.
After a bit of a search the cache was located.

I thought that I would give this series a go today given the nice weather and the opportunity to add a few finds to help with a souvenir that i am working towards. There are a few caches that need a bit of work, either looking a bit tired in condition or have a wet log. Some of the descriptions in relation to the type of container or size of the cache need updating. Otherwise, it was a pleasant countryside drive with minimal traffic. Overall I spent around 2 hours on this series. TFTC.

Well, we found this but the cache is full of water (see picture).
This one needs some extra TLC to keep it from becoming smally and rotten.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

Back on the trail and starting down this end. Cache was found ok however the log was soaked. Didn't have any replacements so couldn't help with that. Hopefully left the cache so it won't get any wetter.

In Ocean Grove, so set off with C in that general direction with a 3rd objective of starting to clear through more of the many many unfound caches we have on the peninsula. After starting out in Port we headed across towards D2B and Do You Believe in, chasing some bulk PnG smilies as our find numbers in February are somewhat lower than most other months, and such things come in handy for challenge caches.
We started mid trail on D2B and soon realised quick PnG’s were not going to be the case. Many of this series need some love, we found anything from empty containers with no logs, to damaged containers, to logbooks thats were just paper mush. Fortunately Do You Believe in was better as C’s 7yo patience was starting to wear thin.

Enjoying this trail of caches on a long weekend.
It was wet and the grass was long in a lot of places which meant I was soaked by the end of the day.
I had to stop at woolies to get extra socks before stopping at the motel for the next days adventures.
Thanks for the cache.

Back down in Geelong again but this time to welcome a brand new family member! So while everyone is still sleeping, and before we head back into the hospital, thought I’d continue on this series, unfortunately in the drizzle…..
Sneakily placed but found. Nonetheless, soon found! That’s it for the day.

In St Leonard today to attend 2 events. The weather was kind, the crowds were absent, apart from geocachers and for us the caches were plenty as we haven't collected a lot in this area.
I thought I could tick off a number of these before the event but time got away from LL. Headed back after the events to collect some more.
Was nice to catch up with the CO at the events.
Thanks for placing and maintaining deshut.

Decided to smash out some caches this cold and foggy Sunday. Thanks for the effort it placing and maintaining such a big series
Quick find in an obvious place.
Off on another day caching around the Bellarine Peninsula with our good mate Rebel Acts.
A mixture of trails and other caches. The trails here are a bit of a treat as rather than the preform tubes or similar containers we have generally experienced in the past, most containers are of good size and often are a bit of a feature of the theme in the cache name.
We were racing the weather a bit trying to get in as much as possible before rain set in, but still had to battle showers. Lucky we were prepared.
All in all, another great day caching.
All logs signed with RASP (Rebel Acts, SKI Pair).

We had been working hard all day and had just finished dinner when we realised we had not been out caching today. We are trying to make a long streak happen, so we jumped into the geomobile and headed out to a couple of close caches. The last time we had been past this cache, the grass was way too long and the weather way too warm to safely approach. The grass tonight was considerably lower and the evening cool, so we walked into the roadside reserve and were quickly in possession of the cache, which was duly signed and returned to its hiding place. The cache was in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache deshut
I have a free day to go out caching so today I have started out with this power trail. after today I will have found more caches then all of last year..... I loved all the different cache types all I found them all, some logs sheets were wet some caches were out in the open but they are all there. Happy to put a smiley on all these caches. TFTC.
Set of for the arvo to find some caches while the rest of our family and friends were busy at home
Had a young fellow with me so decided to tackle this series so he wouldn't get too bored but he loved them and we did more than I thought we would

With The ring of Swiss cheese coming down we could now catch up with our Metro Mates, so once again I teamed up with Omegaman1971 and headed to the Geelong area to do some of the many labs and several caches in the area. We had a great time exploring the area.

32 A cool and cloudy Thursday morning. Ideal for a caching bike ride, or so I thought.
time to tackle some more of the D2b trail. Well 24 more finds, 1 Dnf. no lost equipment.
But severely beaten by the Bellarine bombers (mozzies) and when the battery and backup charger both gave up it was time to retreat. "I shall return!"
Thankyou for the series and the adventure. Cheers.

My first Christmas without anywhere to go. Christmas is a tough day when you don’t have family to spend it with. Decided to make the most of it, and ended up having a wonderful day. Beautiful sunny day, my geowhippet Reggie for company and a stack of caches out there to find. Quick find here. TFTC and Merry Christmas
The other day when we did as far as number 26 we thought that was all there was of this trail, until we returned to the caravan and turned on the computer to see that, in fact, the trail continues and that our download had stopped here. We sometimes wish for the days when we downloaded all caches one by one. We did another pocket query and soon had a load more caches to do. Again, there were some interesting caches, some very long grass, some were hard to find and some easy.

This is the last of my caches in the D2B series since Tupaismum kindly offered to adopt the last 12 caches. This one is fine and ready to be found.
As the sun sets on a great day of caching on the Peninsula we have decided this will be our last D2B cache for today, back to knock off the remaining 10 tomorrow.
A quiet Sunday afternoon with no real plans so I decided on a drive to collect a few caches as I chase my 1000th regular and my 5000th cache. The local home owner was doing maintenance at the front of their house. So i had to be stealthy. GPS was flakey so I used my geosenses and spotted something. Phew. Thanks to deshut for the placement and fun.

Cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for a fun cache. We signed the logbook FETT.
Found on a short, post-Christmas sojourn to Victoria with Freddo, Team Waldron and thewhitedoggang that involved plenty of driving, cycling, walking and even some boating and wading.
The weather was on our side (albeit a little warm at times), which made for some great caching. There were plenty of varied finds, with some excellent and often tricky hides and and just a few DNFs. We signed most logbooks ‘F.E.T.T.’

Thanks to the long weekend back home, I was able to pop over the ditch for the mega and a ‘few’ caches along the way! I was really after the numbers on this trip, planning to achieve 50+ each of the three days for a challenge – something that is getting much more difficult back home! The weather was great and I had a ball thanks to all the CO’s placing great caches!
Today’s aim was to find some more along power trails and trailets, and a few interesting others. I am so grateful for the variety in the trails! TFTC!!

We're in Portarlington on a getaway, and getting in some caching is a part of that plan. TGLW and I had a plan to combine getting up to our daily tally of steps with walking a caching trail. We decided that this section of road would do. Leap frogging the finds so that we'd have finds in both directions.
The first in the section, and was a quick find.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

Finally, a winter day where the weather was not horrid and I was up early enough to head out for this series. Enjoyed the series overall - was pleasantly surprised to find that not all caches were the same. As for the pups - Mila got a bit worked up in the car with all the stopping and starting but BJ is used to it! It was too wet and muddy underfoot to let me out anywhere (they just had a groom yesterday). Thanks for the effort to put in the series - its a great numbers run for things like the July souvenirs.

Find No. 2264. Found with FUF009 at 10.20am
Well what can we say when FUF009 said it all.
We done a day trip to Geelong, some three hours away, and FUF009 came with us.
Our aim for the day was to do the D2B series plus three other caches close by, then the Shepherd's Road series and Do You Believe In ... Series, to get a total of 75 caches for the day to help us get the Hidden Creatures Souvenirs.
Finishing these three trails earlier than expected we then went on the AB4C series, seeing how we had both worked on these puzzles together. We grabbed a few others along the way and at the end of our caching day in the Geelong area, we had clocked up 100 finds. WOW - This is a first for us and a day that we won't forget.
* We got our first cache at 8.59am and our last cache at 4.55pm.
* We had rain at the start that made the roads muddy and changed the colour of our car from red to brown.
* We stopped twice for eats and cuppas - Lunch at D2B 43 at St.Leonards, on the waters edge then again near AB4C #13 at the dead end road.
* An enjoyable caching day was had by all of us despite the weather, plus the day was made less time consuming with well maintained caches therefore no time was wasted on DNF's.

Found with Tyred n Cranky
A day of caching to help out with accumulating enough smileys to try and get closer to the 100 needed for the Hidden Creatures souvenirs.
We started off on the D2B trail where Tyred n Cranky’s Magna changed from a nice red colour to a lovely shade of brown, the true colour for a geocacher's vehicle.
Thankfully the rain had blown away by the time we got down to St Leonards, just leaving the cold wind behind.
After a lunch stop down near D2B #43 we then headed off for the "Shepherd's Road Treasure" series and then to the "Do You Believe In ..." series.
again both the roads added to the colour of Tyred n Cranky’s Magna.
After completing these we realised we had plenty of time left in the day for more and then added to the plans and headed off over to the AB4C puzzle series near Waurn Ponds.
On the way around, for the day, there were a few of extra caches thrown in to the mix, as they were “close by” or on the way.
With a few caches, that took some minutes to locate or get into, But with persistence and patients we managed to make a find on all in the day.
All in all we ended up with a finds totalling just over 100. This is the first time that Tyred n Cranky have made the big 100 in 24 hours. A great fun and memorable day indeed.
