Cute hide!

13-Oct-24
This was too good! It was so camouflaged. Now we have a new favourite cache! Thank you!

08-Sep-24
We decided to come to Melbourne for a shopping trip tomorrow and I thought we would find a few caches in some new LGA's on the way. I came here for a whereigo challenge and picked up this sneaky cache while here. I think I signed this one is 8/8 instead of 8/9?? I really don't know where the year has gone?? especially if I signed as August instead of September. The log was full, so Ive put a new log sheet in with the old log

Hard to open but great spot! Log fullTFTC

TwoEms parked inside the cemetery, and while we walked through the grounds, we were blown away by how pretty this place looked. One of the nicest graveyards we have ever seen. We dreamt of resting here one daydecaying or incineratedwhere we thought was nice for the other to reflect, and imagined what our epitaphs would scribesome cryptic clues to find a geocache of course.Thank you for the cachethe log sheet is dead full.

07-Jul-24
Found it

04-Jul-24
Thanks for the hint!! Was looking around for awhile and pulled up the compass to help us. Great container x

15-May-24
This one was very tricky had three people looking for it still didnt find it

09-May-24
Today Im going caching around the Greensborough and Eltham areas and who knows maybe even further depending on how well I go. Great spot for a cache I did part of an AdLab here too so it was convenient. The log is full however. TFTC

02-May-24
Went there thrice, still didnt find it. Ill keep on looking for it though!

02-Mar-24
Visiting the Dead centre and was pleased to see a geocache hidden here. I interpreted the hint and started the search.. thus could have been difficult but thanks to spot on coords I found the cache quickly. I signed the last spot on the log but there already still some possible spaces left for future finders. Thanks kangadrew72 for placing the cache.

**Dead centre of Eltham, 4th Feb 2024**Found after a nearby palindrome event (4.2.24). We first looked for this one almost 5 years ago when we first started out geocaching. Not finding anything back then, we approached GZ today a little shy. We realised wed been looking at the wrong host back then, and having found 1 or 2 caches of a similar ilk, we made a relatively quick find here. Ahhh, that feeling of avenging a sad blue frown!! Thanks kangadrew72 for placing and maintaining for our enjoyment.Cache on *Throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Explore. Dream. Discover.* **Mark Twain**

No luck for me today. My thanks to kangadrew72 for placing and maintaining it.

22-Dec-23
Out at Eltham Cemetery for a funeral and with over an hour to spare thought I might as well have a look for this one. Had my muggle funeral assistant in tow and she was very surprised by the cool cache when I eventually found it. Clever hide, love cemetery caches. TFTC

07-Dec-23
Second look for about 20 mins. Still couldn't find it. I'm a bit perplexed by the clue that you don't need to enter the cemetery as my GPS clearly suggests s otherwise: David

04-Dec-23
Reread the description and followed the clues right to the cache.

03-Dec-23
A very sneaky container but luckily we had seen this type before. Thanks kangadrew72 for placing this cache here for us.Chiefton!!!

05-Oct-23
Bro why they make this one so obvious

Second time trying to find it and we got there. I swear it wasnt there the last time or its been moved to a more obvious spot.

02-Sep-23
Nice hint, thanks!

Purpose of today was to take mum and Tiz to Montsalvat caching was not on my list but as Tiz seems to only exist for caching we ventured down for this one Thanx for the Adventure kangadrew72 Stay Dirty 207012:58pmSmokeyBearOG

31-Aug-23
Today's destination was to visit Montsalbat, where we wondered the grounds and in and out of the delightful buildings, exploring and indulging our inner artist critic. Following our expedition, I needed to visit this cemetery for a werigo and couldn't pass up looking for this cache with SMOG and his muggle mother..we were trying to Introduce this muggle to caching..SMOG and I spotted the cache straight away but had to point out to the muggle.

20-Aug-23
Ashamed to admit I didn't get the hint till I said it out loud! TFTC!

A short drive out this way today. I have been in this cemetery before collecting information for other caches but hadn’t logged this one.

I made the job of accessing this one harder than it needed to be on approach, but managed to spot it quickly.

Thanks kangadrew72 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Loved the clue!!

Fun but a bit hard

15-Mar-23
Heading to the CITO event at Coburg, I thought I would leave early and collect a few geocaches. However 6 am clearly was not early enough as it still took me 2 hours to get here. Only got 2 geocaches before the event, not as many as I wanted. However 1 was an DT in an Earthcache that I needed.

Buzzing from the delicious coffee at the first event, I drove here and quickly worked out some Way Points for the Multicaches here. Then it was time for the CITO. Amazing what can be achieved my a number of geocaches in just 1 hour while all having a great chat.

After the event I came to this area, to collect the last Premier that I needed for a geocache. Thought I was not going to collect this one as there were 2 people sitting near the GZ. However after walking away, I turned around and peering thru a bush saw them searching.

Heading back, it was great to meet the English couple, the Hawarden Leaders. While chattering we continued the search and after they mentioned the hint, I knew what it meant. Clearly not being a local doesn't help with this clue. We then soon had the geocache in our hands and where signing it.

Thanks for the cache Kanga Drew 72

Our gps hadn't caught up and told us we were 16700 km away, so was lucky to meet "999 hunter" whose gps was accurate. Good hide and the excellent clue helped. Worthy of a favourite. Tftc.

09-Oct-22
After attending rubbish by the rapids cito, I wasn't feeling very well so we did some easier drive by caches.
This took longer than it should have, but I found it eventually.

09-Oct-22
A nice easy find that we took probably too long to discover, but ilukaperi discovered it eventually.

22-Sep-22
Very cool

29-Jul-22
A park and find after a catch up with an old colleague. I use this joke a lot with my kids when driving past cemeteries.

What’s amazing about Eltham is no one living within 10kms of this cemetery can be buried here. tftc

03-Jul-22
I decided to stop here for my lunch while in the area for work.
Enjoyed the walk through the grounds before making a quick find.
Signed and replaced and got back to work.

Thanks for the cache, beautiful area.

17-Nov-21
A quick stop to check out a dead premier for a challenge we are working towards, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try & grab this nearby trad.

It did take a few minutes, and then Steve had the cache in hand. The logbook needed a TOTT to remove, and unfortunately half the log is a ball of mush, and the other half is full, but we did manage to add our name.

Thanks for the cache kangadrew72.

26-Oct-21

April 2, 2021 2:14 PM

Found today while visiting the Cemetery for a caching challenge. Although the cache wasn't hard to find, the piece of paper used as a log sheet was wet so I couldn't get it back in the cache without removing the original log. This is now wedged in the fence next to the cache if you should still want to keep it.
Thx Kangadrew for hiding this one, it's been quite a long time since i last found one of your caches. And this was one of the most picturesque Cemeteries I've ever been to! Cheers

A very easy find here (I replaced it in the same spot, but in a way that was a tiny bit harder). A beautiful day for a stroll in this historic place.

I found a faded spot in the log (once I retrieved it with a makeshift tool) to squeeze in a tiny signature, but it is full and needs replacing. TFTC Smile
