This was there by the post under a rock and nice and dry. But it has been there for a long time now so think it is time to take it away.
down in dunnas for the weekend to "cache up "with KJR . out on a Saturday mission quick grab on our way to the track tftc
A nice day caching in the Dunedin area, about 40 caches for the day a few good up and down walks and a lot of fun had. Many Thanks Bitsprayer.
On our arrival, a car was standing right next to the cache, no way to find it. So we continued to the nearby hill walk and decided to try it again later. Now was the time for it. TFTC 111PAF!

I attempted to sign the log but it is very very wet. My name on the log is barely visible. Nice to have a park just opposite the cache though. Thanks
Found with Just-Lookin.
Always nice to drive around the area.
Soon located the container.

Out and about with Archie my 7 year old great nephew and caching buddy on a bit of a trigging run. Not much success with that this afternoon, so we decided to grab a couple of caches ... this was the first. Quick find here ... Arch spotted it.
SL as did Archie, but he won't log online. Thanks for the hide 111PAF

A quick find down the road.Thanks.
Canterbury show weekend and time for our annual road trip to some place with plenty of boxes to find. One player short this year as PurdiePurdie got a better offer over the Tasman, (no not another MEGA).
TheWanglers, Team Gaters and I took off at 4:45am for Dunedin for a weekend of fun frivolity and finds. The plan was to get as many as we could, while still having a good old time, which we managed in abundance. Logs were generally signed kaTT, which actually should read ka pai, but I can not seem to get pi as a symbol.
A great time was had by all.
Thanks to all the CO's for their hides.

The plan was hatched a few years ago now and it has been a standing weekend away with a few of us mad keen cachers. This trip was made up of Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and me (TheWanglers). We couldn't use a previous anagram to sign the logs as one member was in Aussie. So we had to come up with another... Hmm, KiTT? We decided on KiTT but after signing the first few logs something KR mentioned took a while for me to sink in and I didn't really take on board until the next time I signed the log. "Hey, the double 'TT' looks like Pi!". Oh, that's what KR said! So we signed the log this trip as KaTT pronounced 'Kapai'! And the trip was kapai!!! We had an epic weekend starting with a detour to Peel Forrest for a few FTFs, stopped in Omaru, thrashed Dunedin and detoured to Port Charmers for a FTF and then back to Pleasant Point and Peel Forrest to finish off the weekend with more FTFs. We got home to our families at a respectable hour after clocking up just over 1100km!
We had a few milestones we really wanted to crack. My 4000th, TG's 5000th and KR's 10,000th. We cracked my and KR's goal and got really close for TG. It really is about the numbers. This trip was awesome as it has given me some ideas
Decided that after dinner to head up the penninsula. Quick find
Thanks for the cache.

Show weekend and a Road Trip to Dunedin with 'The Boys'....Karma Reprint & TheWanglers. Initially came up with the acronym KiTT but on seeing the TT looked like a Pi symbol we quickly changed to Ka(Pi) (ie. Kapai)....and a fantastic weekend it was. 3 days, 1100km, a heap of caches and great fun.
Quick find and sign whilst out in the evening caching. Cheers.

I did't know if the horses nearby have something to do with the zebra. Now I know more. Thanks for the box
Had a look on the way out as a farmer was in the paddocks near by. Easy find. TFTC #1417
Wonder if the hints for this one and the other nearby in the carpark might not have got swapped. No problems at either though!
A quick find but when I went to log it my pen didn't work, I ran back to the car a found another one that worked and got back to my car quickly as Bitter cold wind was blowing.
Found on the way back from Boulder Beach. Thanks to flashg51 for telling us about this cache. TFTC
Found on a Sunday afternoon drive. The stone farmhouse and drystone walls were built about 150 years ago by geowife's great great grandfather while working as a stonemason on the construction of Larnach's Castle. TFTC
A heavy mist surrounded the top of the peninsula and with it, the cache. However, we braved the weather and quickly located the cache.
Guwapo and Papa having an afternoon caching with Woody104. We decided to forgo the 'opportunity' to walk up Karatai Track for this cache and took the long way by cachemobile. It was a popular spot with a car sitting on the GZ. After a few minutes of waiting a photo op was arranged, the cache retrieved and the log signed. Salamat.
This was a popular spot today.
A car was parked oops it the GZ, so after sitting in the Cachemobile for a bit with no movement a 'photo opportunity' was arranged and the youngest member of the team soon had hands on.
A quick sign and replacement was made and then back into the warmth of the car for a debate on the next target.
TFTC and view.

Lovely morning to be out and about, even if only to sort some errands to refill the fridge and pantry! Amazing views getting to gz, to both sides of the peninsula - would have been great to see when it was still an island!! Quick find while trying to avoid rolling down the bank TFTC!!!

We couldn't resist the temptation to find this one, it was only a small detour and the views are well worth it. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
A busy road - passed a lady with her two horses and a man with his dog before getting to GZ. Then passed them again on our way back. Found with debsnz

I really should have saved this for a dot-day I have coming up later in the month but a lovely morning, just a few days reg left on the bike before laying it up for winter........what's a man meant to do? Nice quick find with co-ords that were spot-on. Delta rolled a cherry-picker up this road about a week ago. TFTC.
A lovely day for a hunt for the new cache today as the views were absolutely magnificent down the harbour. Found this quite easily with p&vee. TFTC

FTF (#5) @1854 arrived on site to find another car there. I joined W.E.K.A in this find and logged it together. Is a very cold spot but the views over the city at night are awesome TFTC BH
FTF with Gadget169 at 7.54pm on a bitterly cold night (5 degrees) with a biting wind.
The co-ordinates had us 18m up the road but the cache was in a logical place.
Great view of Dunedin lights.
