Time to let this one go. Eight years is not too bad a run, I think. Someone else may now have a go.
Heading out for a day out with geohubby to Queen Mary Falls, we stopped to grab some caches on the way. A huge number of DNF's today didn't make me happy, but hitting my next mini milestone did. I learned a few lessons - like how to identify stinging nettle the hard way, and that for some reason sometimes I always make the cache so much harder than it needs to be!
We spent a considerable amount of time here searching, knowing what we were looking for thanks to previous logs, a beautiful location and muggle-less today. But, sadly, other than a random magnet, we came up completely empty. Hopefully it's still there and we were geoblind today.

2nd DNF for me today.

Found thanks for the gift there where some people there so decided to tell them about caching, so I didn’t seem strange they asked what the gift was I felt bad not opening it and telling them.

After a great morning paddling on the lake as part of Davidwazza's event, we headed back to town and stopped to collect some local caches.
The cache was quickly found here. Thanks Mulvusmigrans for the cache.

After a morning paddle on Lake Wyaralong we headed to Beaudesert for coffee, the nearby cafe was the obvious choice. Most of the group had already found this cache so they knew exactly where it was, unfortunately it was occupied.
As we waited in line the couple at the table must have cottoned on to the fact it was a prized table and finished their coffees and left, we did take it in turns to stare... I quickly ran out and snatched the table, thus securing the cache for us to sign.

What a pretty little space. We passed the yarn bombing and Christmas decorations and hunted to the tune of Christmas carols, what a way to cache! A quick find in the second spot I looked. Tftc!
Was giving my grandson a driving lesson and we drove out to Beaudesert. Had lunch at the nearby cafe and cache was found quickly. Did not take any of the gifts but loved the idea so a favourite for me. TFTC.
As a huge collector of these 'gifts'. I hope 27 can still be classified as a kid. Thank you!

Nice find! My friend found it before me, usually it's the other way around! No kids with us so left the gifts for others
Dodging muggles to grab this - but we managed it. Queensland county number 15 for us this trip! Woo hoo!
After a fabulous time at the mega it was time to point our compass towards home. It has been a fantastic trip so far but there are still a few exciting targets to hit on the way home. Thanks for the cache.

Heading home to Canberra after the Dayboro Mega ... stopped here to unlock a county and grab some lunch. Thanks for the gift. TFTC
A big day out hiking Mt May with Davidwazza, with a couple of stops on the way home. TFTC!
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I joined arewethere?, georode, karicka, and snickersallen in hiking Mount May in Mount Barney National Park. It was a very early morning start departing Brisbane at 05:00 hr, before meeting the group and hiking the gorge and two summits. Following the trek, we returned via Rathdowney, Beaudesert, Mudgeeraba to make a stop in the Gold Coast at Robina, and then headed home.
We stopped in Beaudesert to enjoy a bakery lunch... I even had two sweets to go with my pie, but I think I deserved that given our five hour hike that we just completed. We then made the short drive up the road to this location, where we stopped off at Beaudesert's Central Park. The area was desserted, which allowed us to search around, and had the cache found within a few minutes. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. We took the small gift as a memento, and a very friendly thought to visiting Geocachers. Thanks Milvusmigrans for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. A Favourite Point for the thoughtful gift!
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Good cache. No pencil though. Lucky I had a pen. Sat and thought for a while and then looked to my side and there it was. Try the coffee at Bean To whilst you’re there! TFTC
On our way to Darlington Campgrounds. Convinced the kids to stop. Spotted within seconds by Miss9. Two children so both Christmas gifts were taken and very much appreciated. Thank you.
My work announced recently that every employee would receive a wellbeing day. This was in the spirit of recuperation and mental health after the year of COVID. It was well received and I spent some time thinking about how I would like to spend it. I settled on a day exploring in Northern NSW. Luckily I was accompanied by my lovely eldest daughter. So the day turned out to be really special.
Beaudesert was our first stop for breakfast. I enjoyed a vege eggs Bennedict with a strong cup of coffee. When our meals were done, I checked if there were any nearby caches. Within 15m, blow me down. To my daughter's amazement, I reached under and revealed our first cache for the day. We laughed and laughed. It was just too funny.
My daughter loved the xmas gift. Thanks so much. I have no idea what she plans to do with it, but she loved it regardless. TFTC Milvusmigrans!

Well that was a bit interesting. Thought we were going to have to give this a miss as too many people. But ended up at the right spot and Barb2e made the find.

Cache welfare check. In perfect condition, at GZ. Tiny gifts 47, 48, and 49, that need no reciprocation, stashed yesterday. Come and get 'em. MM.
Very small central park! Had to have a few attempts due to occupied seats!
Apologies for the backlogged find, forgot to log at the time

The finding part isn’t the difficult part... It’s getting to GZ that was difficult for us today!
It took us a couple of attempts to get to GZ, with muggles too close to the area the first couple of times we tried.
We tried waiting them out, but I don’t think they were going anywhere soon.
Regardless, we got there eventually! I was out caching with EatAllThePie and we actually took bets on who would get the correct area for GZ - Yours truly came up trumps
Thank you for the cache and for the little gift, we enjoyed finding that. Also loved experiencing the Beaudesert Central Park!

I was in Beaudesert with Mis4Tune today and we grabbed a couple of caches. We searched around for a few minutes then came up with the goods. My daughter took a gift - there's one left now. What a great idea and a generous cacher you are Milvusmugrans! We found the gift very interesting - reminds me of a time where there were swaps and trades in geocaches. My kids were young in those days and loved finding these secret treasures and swapping bits and pieces. Thanks again!
Really easy find on our way home after picking up some chooks from Gold Coast hinterland.
We met a really nice native American Indian from a tribe, who moved to Canada and had been living here for 45 years or so and happened to sitting at the table where the cache is. I swapped a gift (thank you) for 60 cents and a Mauritius coin.
Nice food from cafe .. yum.

... and we're back. The third container lasted some 2.5 years of the cache's 4.5 year life so far. We'll see how this one fourth one goes! Gifts 43, 44 and 45 are loaded in and good to go. Enjoy!
The covers are off and a person can now sit down at ground zero.
But the cache appears to be no longer present.
I will undertake to get one there in the next 10 days or so and will enable the cache again at that time, with a note.

The cache location has had an exclusion barrier wrapped around it- to close the seating here until the COVID-19 situation changes. I will keep a watch on it and re-activate the cache when restrictions are eased.
Cache in good condition. New log due soon, though there's still a half-doz or more slots good to go. Gifts 41 and 42 installed. Come get 'em.
TfTC - little miss 7 and little man 10 loved their little wrapped presents....many thanks.
Tiny gifts updated- three more are in the container. Pick 'em up anytime. Container and log in good condition. Come on down!
Visiting family in Beaudesert and after lunch (at the nearby RSL) found this with LJB54. Very quiet this time of day and after a break in traffic was a quick grab. Signed the log and the geo kids took the ‘free gift’.
Would imagine this would be a much more difficult cache if you did not pick the right time to visit GZ. Thanks Milvismigras for this sneaky hide and TFTC

Gotcha!! Almost thwarted by muggles, but they eventually wandered off. TFTC. Grab a pen as you grab your cup of coffee, the pencil is MIA.
This one took some waiting since there were muggles right where we needed to be. We bought a coffee and waited. Checked a nearby potential hide but no luck there. Muggles left and we did the dodgy switch tables for no apparent reason. Very well hidden for a container that size. TFTC
A day out geocaching in the area finding a few caches.
I found this one after a short search.
Thanks for the cache.

I am on my way to hike up a hill to fill another spot on my D/T grid.
But a quick stop here to find a cache.
It does help if you are searching the right GZ.
Found it in the end.

Out exploring on our last day in the area. Seemed like the perfect stop... a cute little park, decorated for Christmas, a cafe and a geocache!
Had to wait for a muggle to leave GZ, then Miss6 swooped in and found it. Swapped an item and SL.
T4TC and Merry Christmas!

While staying in Boonah for a few days, I explored the area and picked up this cache. When I sat down at GZ I thought this would be impossible due to all the people sharing the site, but a quick, surreptitious look and there it was. Thanks for hiding it.
Cool and tiny little green space! Merci and 谢谢 for the gift Milvusmigrans
On a side note - I know what that container's original use was!!!

Cache welfare check. The container was out of its hide and a fraction too visible for me. In perfect condition, gifts for the kiddies are good to go. Replaced in its usual spot.
Visiting from Canada, for my son's wedding (May 19). My sister-in-law (nellcache) and I drove to Beaudesert today and found a few along the way. Muggles were eating at GZ, so we nipped into KFC. Easy find, once the muggles had cleared off. TFTC, Milvusmigrans.
Cache welfare check. As good as the day it was born. Tiny gifts 32-35 loaded into the container. All yours!
Our hiking crew had a requested stop here enroute to Mt Lindsay to help poor old Stairman find this previous DNF. Nice quick find set up some solid ridiculing for the rest of the day.

Stairman1 (yep the guy with >3800 finds) spent 'about 20 mins' looking for this one on a previous visit, with no success. We'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say there were heaps of people around... but given it was found in about 30 seconds flat this morning by me, our group spent the rest of the day enthusiastically mocking him for his previous failure TFTC
This required our ninja squirrel skills to obtain! After maneuvering our way to GZ we slipped under to retrieve the cache. Left a rubber
On our way from Gold Coast to out past Dalby.
Time to stretch our legs and grab a smilie as we are heading past.
The local constable was grabbing a coffee as I was signing the log so watching out for muggles.
Returned to where I found it.
Left gifts for future kids.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Milvusmigrans All good with this cache

Cache welfare check this morning. As good as the day it was made (3 years + 2 days ago). Tiny gifts 29-31 are in the container and ready for your kids. Or you. Whomever. Enjoy!
I’ve been here once before but been thwarted by muggles. This time, here for a coffee with the family, after a thorough search where we could, we still couldn’t find it so I asked the CO for a hint. A quick reply and a fortuitous muggle movement and we soon had it in hand. The kids are now fighting over the gift. TFTC
Ohh yes it is. Cache welfare check today shows all present and correct. Feel free to PM me if a hint is preferred
All fixed. We are now on log sheet #4 and gifts 25-28 are in the house. Come and get 'em
Thanks for the note re the missing cache.
I'll sort it out.
Meantime, disabled.
