Hi there skakids,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers, so without your note on the cache page telling them what the situation is, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and, when the listing is next checked, all will be fine for a little bit longer. But be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit this page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks so as to keep everyone up to speed with what is happening.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Bunjil

Out and about with echidna44 for a disappointing day for this area. We knew we were in for the search but seeing that no one is about we gave the seat a good going over. Rang previous finder and still no joy. Boy hate to try this one in normal days.
Out with xambo4u, we knew this would be difficult, but there were very few people around so we had free range to search. We gave it a thorough going over, used a PAF to confirm, but still no joy.
Had a decent look on the north side under the monument. No joy. Group of guys on the south side prevented a search there.
Another "Yeah / Nah" for me here on my 4km caching walk around St Kilda before catching the Spirit to Tassie tomorrow morning.
Plenty of sinister looking spots here so extreme caution was used.
Nothing showed even after checking the nooks and crannies with a strong torch
No hints from the pigeons either... their beaks were sealed lol
TFT Challenge anyways (7 Feb 21)

Decides on an object as the likely hide, but no luck.. a bum sleeping nearby had me not searching wider.
Thanks to skakids for the placement and fun.

So off to St Kilda today to find some caches, I'm on annual leave this week so it's time to get up my cache tally.
I have not been to St Kilda for a couple of years and it was deserted, probably because its cold but still not a sole on the beaches.
Took a walk along the pier had some fish and chips and then wandered around to find some caches walked along the board walk and then along the beach and finally across into Albert park.
It was nice to get out of lock down and go and explore a little.
Thanks for the cache and the hide

Oh this took a little while! There's lots of nooks and crannies to check. We were super excited when we found it. We took nothing but we left a little gift. TFTC.
After a half hr search Decided this was a no show for me today sadly. Looked at photos and read logs but still no luck. Was not climbing onto gardens. Perhaps find next trip
Only 2 sides to start from so of course I chose the wrong one. Got there eventually though. Beautiful Monday here.

This one took a few moments but once on the right level I had a good idea where it could be hidden. Tftc. Greetings from Germany!
Ewww, almost gave up here ... The immediate surroundings felt a bit odd to me. Cache title is also quite misleading. But hey, found it after all! TFTC and greetings from Austria!
Caught an Uber to St Kilda from the CBD, my sister and I had never been here before so we had brekkie and a stroll down the pier. We found this cache fairly easily, thankfully didn’t have to reach up into the pigeons nesting hole. Bleh. Then walked back to the CBD, via Chapel St and Botanical Gardens.
While in Melbourne for the weekend to see Harry Potter and the cursed child with my sister we though we would pop down to St Kilda for a few hours.
While looking around we though we would grab a few caches.
We started off on the wrong level but soon worked that out, kateRX made the find.

Having finished partying to Hot Dub Time Machine at the St Kilda Festival and a bit of a wander down on the beach we returned for a bit of midnight caching. We quickly determined what we believed to be the right level based on previous logs, but could not find the log. A possible empty container matching the description was nearby but soon realised it was rubbish. As classycacherAb began chatting to some nice ladies who enquire did he had lost something, Kristysadventures and I continued the search. Just as we were about to give up I searched another side we hadn’t yet looked at (which was a little off on the gps) and bingo! The cache was there! Signed the log and made the journey back to the car as the cleanup for the festival was well underway. TFTC
A good find by Roaming Howie as I was searching the wrong area mislead by my gps and classycacher was also mislead but by some saucy ladies!!. A nice find after st Kilda festival.
I scaled around on both levels and couldnt find it. I did find a container with a shaver and headphones in it, but I think it belonged to a homeless man :/
Great to turn a 'DNF' to a 'found' on our second visit. This time we went in daylight (last Sunday). Thanks for the cache
Regarding to the title of this cache I first looked on the wrong level. But took a few pictures anyway and enjoyed the view. Then I had to wait a bit because a homeless person seems to sleep closeby, so I came back later and yes, got it. Nice spot.

Just came from the ferry from Tassie. Had a nice brekkie at the pier. Wanted to set Melbourne on the geocaching-map so looked around for this one. Greetings from the Netherlands
This cache took far longer than it should have but was a quick and easy find once we arrived in the right location. Thanks for the cache!
This had me in circles at first, a muggle even stopped to see if i was ok..
Then not long later, i found it!
Thanks for the interesting history lesson about a cool sounding italian fella, and highlighting his monument with a cache.
Found about one pm.

A nice day in Melbourne. We did some sightseeing and some caching. Thank you for this cache we are able to find.
Today we went to the pier in St Kilda where we have seen pinquins and jellyfish. On our way back we picked up this cache. First we looked in the wrong place but after we came on the correct location it was a quick find. Very nicely hidden and a great place. Thanks for the cache.
Perseverance paid off again! This is a very tricky hide. I am glad it was a family effort! Lovely view! Thanks for bringing us here!
Nothing better than finding a cache that has many DNF’S. great hiding spot....there are more obvious spots which is what I think is throwing people off. Keep looking folks...it’s there alright.
Tftc..skakids...I like this one....dropped a Tb

Way too many Muggles, at almost any time of day, and someone has made their home in the gap under the pavillion. DNF.
Found it after I got to the right level. My southernmost cache ever and it will probably remain so for a long time. Greetings from Finland and tftc!
We searched on a cold windy Saturday night but DNF. We will come back during daylight.
A great cache and hide, the area was fantastic to visit. Amaali found this hide after a bit of shuffling around the structure. Thank you skakids for your cache and hide, a fave from me.

Greytiger and I were successful after doing more laps around this structure than the Grand Prix. The object we were seeking was finally found, log signed and returned to its sneaky spot. A fave from me and TFTC.
With friends 3 weeks on the road to explore Tasmania and South Australia. We experienced great landscapes, people and animals. By the way, many caches were also visited. Thanks for the great impressions.
Day 5 of the geocoaching training camp by raindoctor.
The geopup wanted to see the bay so we did a short trip to St Kilda.
We looked a while in the wrong places before heading back to search on the level we started on. Cool hide and nice view from GZ.
Thanks

It was the Jomingara show today with myself and sharanyaExpress along for the ride. The cache was not where I was looking I can tell you that!

Today was the day to finally nail this one. I have had a few goes to try and get a smiley but each time has been unsuccessful. The sun was out and no muggles so more determination. I went to a spot I hadn’t really searched and once there, it was revealed. Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks for putting this cache out there.

We took a tram down to St Kilda late in the afternoon to see the sunset and to try to find a few caches.
We couldn’t see this one despite spending a long time searching.
We checked past logs and photographs for hints but the cache remained elusive.

What a great area for a geocache. Thanks for the fun hunt and the history. Cache in great condition
Such a perfect day to stroll along the esplanade people watching. While the beach was packed today, this spot was pretty quiet. Once we worked out from which direction to search, dad was all over this one under the watchful eye of some local pigeons. Thank you skakids
Couldn’t find this one today, not really sure it was there to begin with though.
In Melbourne for an extended weekend to see a show and do some caching.

We needed to get a number of caches for the current souvenir event and since we had a bit of spare time this afternoon, we set off. Although it is a wet, windy and cold day, we've always found that great when geocaching since there is a lot less muggle activity!
I left M in the car ready to move if a parking inspector came and started searching for this cache. My crappy iPhone GPS wouldn't narrow down to less than 10m accuracy so I had to search for this one using experience and knowledge. No wonder it took so long!
Do you ever wonder if the people in cars driving by are actually paying attention to their surroundings?
Thanks

Hung here for ages - even pretty sure I know where it should be as it’d be a great find! But it isn’t there or any of the scarier spots...will come back - feeling frustrated!
Find #4276. Found @ 17:06 with The Good Lady Wife.
The Good Lady Wife, skirrel, j-bean and I came to the Palais to see Cosentino perform. It was a very entertaining and enjoyable show. We'd parked in the Palais parking and paid for the rest of the day, so while the kids returned to the warmth and dryness of the car, TGLW and I wandered over to try our luck.
Once we go to the GZ region we had a bit of a look around and came up empty. TGLW quickly lost interest in the hide as the wind and rain decided to ramp up a notch.
I figured on a particular type of hide location, but when that didn't pan out I had a bit of a rethink and came up with a different idea. My rethink eventually turned out to be confirmed when I looked from the correct location.
I'm glad it was a gloomy and damp day as it kept the muggles away.
With the cache found, signed and returned, it was time to return to the car for the drive home. The hidden benefit of going for the cache was that the banked up show traffic had cleared out.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache skakids.

Was in the St Kilda area today so had seen this one here on the busy Esplanade - in winter not as busy and a week day when the stores are not here.
Started I presume like most finders on the level of the upper street to look at the view and admire the bust of Catani.
Thanks for his story skakids. Wandering around this area the GZ did not quite fit. Too clean to put a cache -view was nice. Then approached the area in a new way and started thinking like a CO and I know skakids is a master of hides. Soon was rewarded with a smiley for the day.

Gorgeous day to head out to St Kilda for lunch and grab a couple of caches too with Kerynz and families. Thanks!
Visiting St Kilda with Frame Family today. Had a great time on the pier and at lunch nearby. As we finished up we tried a couple of caches. This was our second find. Felt a little nervous looking around and didn’t poke around until we were sure we were searching the right spot. Found the cache safe and sound. Had to wait for a couple of groups of muggles before replacing it safely. Tftc
Found the Cache.
Full details of our visit down under on our return.
.
I found the cache, another day, another cache or two or more, and more to my total.
.
I am currently concentrating on six types on caches, Church Micros, Village Signs, SideTracked, Village Halls, War Memorials and A Fine Pair. Sadly, there are only SideTracked caches ‘Down Under’, but I did pick up one in Sydney.
.
Mrs Dolphin and I went to visit our daughter who is spending twelve months in Tasmania. After spending four days in Hobart we then did a Whistle Stop tour of a few towns and cities in South East Australia.
.
First the records: -
• First cache in the Southern Hemisphere.
• First Cache in Australia.
• First Caches in Tasmania, Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales.
• My highest cache ever found, highest three in fact (by far).
• Most southernly cache found
• Most Easterly ever found.
• My Oldest cache found to date.
. I did try and made it my practise to get a cache in every place we stopped. I think I picked up at least one cache at every new place we stopped even if the stop was just for ‘Tea and Cake’. Most of the caching and reporting was done on my phone. I do not like doing the finer points of caching that way and now believe I am fully ‘up to date’. Out of the forty-six caches I found ‘Down Under’ seventeen were Earthcaches. I believe I have emailed everybody the required information, but I understand that one was ‘lost’ (probably my fat fingers). If anybody contacts me, I will try to resend the information and photos I took at the caches.
.
It has taken me well over a week to complete this ‘full’ log of my caches ‘down under’. It is only now I think that I am fully over the ‘Jet Lag’. After being at work all day when I have gone home and had my tea all I have wanted to do is sleep. That is what I have been doing, going to bed without typing this log up.
.
A big thank you to the cache owners for the caches and points to everyone for the caches I found. Some of locations of these caches I do not think we would have gone to had it not been for the Caching.
.
I am also trying to get my Cache Centroid back to nearer my home location. It was only a couple mile from home, until I cached in the USA a few years back. This moved the centroid away by over thirty miles. So these caches should and will move my Centroid back towards my home location. I had thought that these caches from ‘Down Under’ would not help, but they have moved my Centroid back nearer home my four miles. It is now only thirteen miles from home.
.
Thanks for the Cache. I Took Nothing and I Left Nothing only my thanks again.
.
Sorry for the cut and paste, but I have only just got round to finishing off this log and things are beginning to merge into one.
.
I am dipping my Patch (for the mileage) in and out of the cache.
