So it seems ants have taken over this cache so I am disabling it until I can replace it. Should only be a couple days
I suggest bringing something to wipe out the ant nest that has formed inside the tin
I must say this was an ingenious way of keeping a cache from being muggled! Although not too sure if having an entire ant nest inside the cache will catch on too soon! :p needless to say we both rather wisely decided not to sign the log since it was being rather fiercely guarded by the current occupants, I still managed to put it back where we found it but it wouldn't hurt for the C.O to make a quick check on this one though. TFTC!
Sick of staying at home so the ground daughter 3 ye old and I decided to have a cache day in Inverloch. We took a complete wrong turn and ended up on some very dodgy roads going through towns I'd never heard of. But we made it here in good time. We have 4 hours and 15 cache on the list.
Cache one for the day found by my little girl. Thanks for a great start to our day out.

Geohusband was ready for this one! Out of the car and straight to it, no hesitation. Good thing we are in a motorhome bus, stops the drive by muggles from seeing what we are up to. Tftc
Was driving past and not much traffic around so pulled over for a quick find here.
Thanks AmyLouB

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.
Thanks AmyLouB

Found by Mary & David at 1311. Do not cry because she has gone, but smile because she has been. It is a very grown-up thing to face death and lose someone you love. Memories of her will never fade. Our thanks to AmyLouB.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.
I like it

Good find. My type of cache. Easy to pull over and grab it then sign the log while sitting in the car and sneak it back when no-one is going past.
I have driven past this cache for years as I turn of the main road to our holiday house. It's a long way from where we are living at the moment but it's always a pleasure to make that turn. TFTC, good shape, nice and dry.
I have two accounts so in one I have found it and in the other I have not
A nice way to remember a friend and honour a life in alace with many happy memories for you tftc AmyLouB
Still at the caravan park at Inverloch so set off today to grab some local caches and this was one we found. A quick stop and cache was in hand. TFTC
Yorsys came down to visit us today so we could do some Inverloch caches. I left Yorsys in the car so I could retrieve this one as he had already done it. It was just before school was out so I had the place to myself.

The driver and I did not even make it out of the car before the geo kids were saying the magic words 'I found my earring'.. Found with the culverts.
While enjoying our annual Easter holiday down at Cape Paterson we took time out to check out some down at Inverloch. No one about today and it was a quick easy find. Thanks for the cacheAmyLouB

Suscoe decided to spend a second day visiting the caches of the Inverloch area.
It was significantly different temperature wise today, about 20 degrees cooler in fact.
Clouds accompanied the day, but it kept dry until quite late in the afternoon.
We continued to enjoy finding these caches, a delightful range of hides, containers and locations.
A quick find today and Suscoe enjoyed signing the log in the quiet of this spot.

Ah, the best part of bear-cacher having a holiday from work is that I can leave him in charge of nap time with the geotoddler and newborn to dash off on my own for a cache (or 8!!). I hustled out of the house and this was stop number 3. I pretended my VW Geolf wagon was actually a bus and it shielded me from the busy traffic while I sat in the bus stop and pondered. A nice find in a likely place and I reboarded the bus and was off. TFTC AmyLouB
Found at 1:14 PM GAFF1.
Gosh - now there is a chunky magnet! Could hardly get the log book back in.
I think that nearly all of us have had some contact with someone who has departed due to cancer. We live with it right now!
Thanks AmyLouB.

#753 1:08pm TFTC... down from Melbourne for the 3rd family Xmas Party of the season. I needed to escape
A nice way to start the New Year by going for a caching walk around Inverloch. This was #2 of 3 found this morning and it was very quiet along the road as I sat down to sign the log. Thanks AmyLouB for sharing some of your local memories of people and places.
We came down for a drive, unaware that the charger was not charging the phone on the trip. Grrrr so we needed a quick one to grab the souvenir for today, just incase we didnt have enough charge. Hooray, a nice quick druve by for geosons to get. My husband was amazed at how quick they retrieved it. Lovely down here and we will most diffinitely be back with 3 devices fully charged ..... besides the weather is too hot anyway so perhaps it was a blessing. TFTC. Log signed and away we went, with out souvenir ticked off for the day. Good bye 2015 & thanks for the placement of this cache.
In the guidelines of geocaching, when you begin a lay plans for your 1st cache, they ask a few questions, such as , is the area of some significant, interesting, enjoyable? My 1st cache placement (but not my 1st published) is that to me, a park I went to with my boys. I doubt whether some people really read the description, they just see a quick park & grab & that's fine too because that's exactly what we had to do today. Burning around Wonthaggi with a phone that was losing it's battery life quickly but desperate to at least find 1, to reach our souvenir today. I hope every time you pass this spot, you are reminded not only of your godmother but the people who you bring enjoyment of the placement. Thanks for the cache & a quickie for us to write our names on. Happy New Year too.
With our bikes loaded in the car, the boys and I headed to Inverloch for the day before then having a nice long afternoon ride along the bike trail along Phillip Island Road. We had a great day and had lunch in Inverloch where there was a famers market going on at the time. After exploring and caching for a few hours we headed to the bike trail and spent the sunny afternoon pedaling away.
A nice quick driveby ans we started to head out of Inverloch. Thanks AmyLouB.

In our way back from finding a EarthCache around Wonthaggi area and thought we would drop in here to check it out. Thanks. Silkyie
we were digging In every loose nook and cranny we could find! Checking under concrete cracks, looking for fake rocks, but yet it was right under our noses! We thank AmyLouB for this challenge.
