Wow, what a great turn out. Thanks everyone for attending. Unfortunately I was not able to Meet & Greet everyone of you. I will remember this event for a very long time. Cheers
Lucked in, here with the geo kids, for a scooter ride and lunch, easy souvenir pick up for the road trip
Thanks for waiting Czechroo. Turned up near GZ and has to sneak across bike race track and saw Czechroo waiting with log. Did the legals and has a quick chat before dodging the bike riders again.

Arrived early to try to get some of the limited free parking. Got free 2 hour parking in Grand Parade with no problems, so just a short walk to GZ... aah, GZ is blocked off by a bicycle race. Saw someone sneaking across at one corner just after the competitors passed, so went there and did the same.
It's not yet 1 pm, and I'm already here! Along with 5 other attendees! Some of us are starting early!
The races kept going for the entire time I was there - about 2 hours. How tiring.
Lots of old friends and new there. Met the CO (EO?), of course, as well as alfyboy and monkeydoodle_k (with dad) for the first time having found a number of their caches in the past. Nice to meet you all.
Discovered a few trackables (including skyebomonkeytown's newest spectacular acquisitions), and had plenty of my own for others to discover.
Finally had to go before the parking rangers came around one time too often. Yet another enjoyable event. Thanks Czechroo.

Lovely day for a catch up! Had a good chance to catch up with many geo-friends. And to plan some new teamwork caches. Oh and there is always the souvenir. TFTEC Czechroo

Dad's (KRS) log sums it all up. I got souvenir #2352. And it was my first time out in public with freshly shaved head (Leukemia Foundation's Worlds Greatest Shave). Thanks for the event!

4/07/15. 1:00 PM (ish). Cache #2647. Streak day #377.
Yelyac and I arrived in the area with about 10 minutes to spare, but the first challenge was finding a spot to park. I found 2 hrs worth but had to pay, and we had about a 700m walk to GZ. Then I noticed that Cathy Freeman park was cordoned off and there was a road cycling race going around the park. I updated the cache on my phone to see if the location had been moved, only to see that it hadn't but a few people were already there, so I called one to find an easy way in.
Off we headed and met the CO on our way in while he was off on a munzee hunt. Met the few cachers that were there and before long, the numbers had swollen to a good size; many familiar faces and a few others I hadn't met. Did the usual meet and greet activities, lots of good geochat with our good friends and of course the group photo. Didn't do any TB discoveries like we usually do. Then it was time for Yelyac and I to leave. Headed to Mount Colah next, for "Berry Nice". TFTC.
} : )
Souvenir says: "You were geocacher #2,357 of 2,586 to earn this souvenir. Nice job!". Not quite the #101 that I mustered for 10+ favourites, but still good.

Thanks to the CO for organising. A bit of a last minute decision to be allowed to attend. Arrived to find the area fenced so the DT rating have to be raised to GZ as we negotiated the barriers, bikes and the officals. Great to see a good turn out with plenty of geo storys being told. TFTC

We got a little late because of traffic and geodad getting late to come after work. We were worried if we would miss it. We had trouble crossing the road because of cyclists and we thought that we might have to walk all around. Luckily there were still a lot of geocachers around when we arrived.
We met alfyboy and Gatherer Hade for the first time.
Discovered a lot of trackables while geodad was speaking with Gatherer Hade.
Thanks for the event Czechroo and nice to meet you.

Have already tried to log this on my iPad but hasn't come through - will try again on the laptop . Nice to meet one or two Aus cachers and to be able to log another step of the road trip series. Best wishes from New Zealand.
Found it very interesting to meet other geocachers and picked up some travel bugs
My first event. Interesting to meet some other cachers. Picked up TB. Thanks Czechroo for organising today.

Very lucky, got the closest 1 hour parking spot to GZ!
Very unlucky, had to walk almost the entire circuit to find a spot where the officials would let me past the Tour de France hopefuls and into the cauldron area. No I don't need the exercise.
Finally reached the group and was greeted by several familiar faces. Nice to meet some other cachers who until now had just been names on the logsheet.
And finally to catch up with Czechroo who I had previously met at a cache only 250m from my home.
Thanks Czechroo for the event.

Woohoo, First to Arrive at the Meet & Greet Czechroo 2015 by Czechroo. Jumped the fence and ran through the bike race to get to the GZ. Thanks to everyone who brought trackables to discover.

The Booo's Attended this event.
A nice winters day to hold an event, with the added challenge of having the area around GZ closed off for a cycling event.
After an enjoyable afternoon we decided to head off before the chill returned.
Thanks Czechroo for hosting this event.

Thanx for the event. I came away a fan of Munzee. I just wish I could go back now and scan them all.
GeoMum-Bluewattle took us out there for a scooter ride. Stumbled across the event and some bike road races [8]
Attended with Geomum-Bluewattle and GeoBrother-Bluewattle Junior, Cool Day at Olympic Park [:x]
Fantastic day and great weather for a little caching and too attend a event. Dropped Ruby off for her big adventure
Very much enjoyed this coexist event. I exist in both worlds. What can I say I just love geo-hobbies. TFTE.
Nice afternoon stroll to the event and cycle event. Whoops that wasn't part of it. Thatnks to the organiser and other attendees for making this a very enjoyable event.

A magnificent day for an event. The cycling event caused a hiccup as the centre area where the event GZ was located was fenced off. Undaunted, our small group made a beeline for the centre and we were soon mingling with all the other geocachers. Well done Czechroo for hosting this one. There certainly was a great roll up for it. As I was too busy socialising, I forgot to sign the logbook. Thanks dkmacca for adding my moniker. Cheers.

I battled the cycle gauntlet and was great to meet up all those wishing we could Coexist in a geo-friendly world. I dont know how Czechroo finds the time for all these geo-hobbies, my munzing has dropped off and Ive uninstalled Ingress as caching and GCNSW keep me more than busy!
Still, today was a fun relapse and reminisce of the early days on Munzee and rise of multiple forms of geolocation games. Caching is still number one in my books! Grabbed some GCA movables and did some nearby cache maintenance to cap off a great winters day in SOP. Cheers!

Had this one my list and wanted to knock off the other 5 caches I had left in this area as well. When I walked over, the cyclists were zooming around the track. Managed to find a way in and saw the strange people mingling in one spot. Oh wait, not strange to me, Cachers Found some familiar faces and spent the next 90 min talking geocaching. Met a few new faces, and also some that I'd been emailing with. Hello to all. Thanx Czechroo for organising a good event and on a great day. Till next time! TFTE.
Perfect day for an event made even more interesting from the cycling around GZ. Found the event munzees and arrived at about 1307 (After encountering some issues crossing the cycle track).
At GZ caught up with some old faces and met some new.
Thanks Czechroo for the effort put into both the events!

Nice afternoon to meet & great cachers, both old & new, at a great location. Used the train to get there - good idea. One problem - the cycle event. Howdare their officals try & stop us cachers from gathering in the centre of the park. Thanks Czechroo for a top day.

Streak Day #723 - Attended and met some new people and chatted to some familiar faces, great event but a pity the cycling was going on at the same time haha but cachers could not be stopped from crossing the line lol Thanks Czechroo for putting on the event
Attended caught up with a number of people I haven't seen for a while & met a number of new people too
Attended the double event, my first Munzee event. Thanks for organising. SL #2035 on streak day #1094 TFTE
I will be in the area. Up from Tassie for school holidays. Great to get a souvenir as well
I have had to change plans and will now be coming by car instead of cycling. Are there any events on today as wondering whether the parking will be nearby?
There is a cycling event on so may need to change meet place to outside skate park. If you ask one of the organiser they will let you in. Cheers
I plan on attending and bringing about 20 geocoins and trackables for you to discover or take with you.
I haven't checked my diary, but I'm sure I'll be there! I'll bring my entire TB collection too for discovery - please seek me out and ask to see it!
Would love to attend and meet some likeminded geocachers.
Good for souvenir too.

I will come past briefly and early.
I have a party to attend so I will fly past during my day.

I think I can make this (depends on grodaughter's sporting commitments). It's well timed for the 2015 Road Trip souvenir.
Starting time is 1pm but if I can't make that time: how long does the event go for???

Working at Olympic Park and finishing work at 1pm on Saturday's makes this event perfect for me. Will see you there.
Ooh this will be the first event near me since I moved down here. Looking forward to coming and saying hi
Thanks for organising this event. I will be stopping by on my geocaching road trip and picking up a souvenir to commemorate our time together.
