Dropped by this one while out walking as we saw that there was a few DNF's and decided to check on it only to find a empty hidey hole might need the CO checking it out

**Challenge 1:** To find a cache without using any form of technology at the site.
I'd read the logs earlier in the morning, so I was prepared for failure. Despite finding at least nine really good potential hiding places, and without the benefit of coordinates to narrow the search, I came up blank. Perhaps CO could check, and drop a note that we're all really bad lookers?

Nothing like a cache was spotted here today. Mind you, others seem to think this area is STILL the old tip site, judging by the rubbish left here.

Road trip. Got together with mogni, her bro and his kids (DAP) for a quick trip over the border to Werribee for an attempt at the infamous Eagle Rock cache. We spent 2 1/2 hours all up at Eagle Rock for a DNF. So of course we just had to do a few others as well. [;) And now it was time to cache out way to Geelong to catch up with Bushfire and make it back to Mount Gambier for an event tonight.
Spent a long time here but could only find an empty likely hidey hole.
You pwned us noobs. Thanks for the search theseeker321.

Sorry for the late log but catching up on old logs. On the way home from Warrnambool, so will make some time to grab a cache. TFTC the seeker321.
The afternoon is quite cool, and possibly no wriggly sticks. Need this for a first of the month smilie for "one for each first of month challenge".
Looking over the lake one would be thinking that it will again be dry this summer!

A day off work today meant a road trip from Ballarat with master 4 to collect some caches in and around Colac. Another quick find here. Generally anytime I've been through Colac is straight through the middle or the country roads. Amazing really the presence this lake has here. Thanks for the cache
Terrifying spot with syringes and broken glass and the threat of death by snakebite and an overindulgence of weed, but in a cool container!
Just one more "last one" before heading towards Melbourne. I had to search for this one alone as the rest of the family were quite content sitting in the car as I searched about for this cache. It was soon located after a little toing and froing around the gz, thanks theseeker321 for the sneaky hide.
When we got the race was on.. ...Geohubby went one way.. . Went the other.. .it was my lucky day.

Found it! I took my muggle mate out for a bit of caching and after 10 minutes of searching finally spotted it. Had seen this sort of thing before so recognised it pretty easily.

Heading through Colac, I wanted to grab a couple caches while passing through. This one was a sneaky hide and after a minute or so of searching, I noticed something. TFTC theseeker321.
Day 2 of my 2100+Km 4 day road trip.
Visiting Woodlands Heritage Park, Ocean Grove, Warrnambool, Naracoorte, Keith, Ouyen, Lake Boga, Ballarat and just about every town in between. (Not necessarily in that order)

This was one of the caches I found on my travels.
A great it was day, The first signs of summer. (Bring it on.)
I soon had the cache in hand and the log was duly signed.
'Scrat' visited your cache whilst on his Great Aussie Adventure.

Too chicken to fish around the long grass.. Will try again another day with papa bear!
Found by Mary & David at 1715. Lengthening shadows and the water looks like silver glass. Beautiful light, and the dreamy clouds accentuate the distant hills. Should be a McDonalds rubbish bin here. Found the cache after a brief search. Our thanks to theseeker321.
Picking up all the recent caches in Colac so here' s another with a smiley face. TFTC
Suscoe's 3rd find of the morning.

A day of caching with ozbob and the ageing Bushfire was decided upon and we ventured down this way with the weather very poor and the temperature hovering around about 4.
It was not only the temperature but it was light rain so all hides had to be found as quick as possible.
We were in ozbob's new Ford Ranger that has a lot of things going for it for caching, Sat Nav, 4x4, high clearance, and a great heater to name a few as we were running up a few kilometres before he uses it to tow his caravan.
The cache name certainly applied to us today as we battled the elements all morning and were thankful for our neck warmers raincoats and hats in our quest for more smilies in Colac today.

Out this way to convert some more green boxes into smiley faces. Dropped the wife off where she needed to go and off I went!
after picking the wife back up it was time to head off back to Geelong - but of course I had to do a couple more on the way out.
Quickly found here and time for one more so off to the last one in Colac for now

Down in Colac today in the company of Glanville Girls and ST37E picking up some of the newer local caches.

No cars here today but broken glass and left over fast food containers seemed like it could be a popular spot. Definitely wet out here today and plenty of birds for company. Spotted a likely patch of flattened grass and were soon signing the log. TFTC

Out caching today with ST37E with the aim to complete the Bambra series and collect some caches in the Gellibrand and Colac area. We were lucky enough to have one half of The Tritonz on board with us today to keep us company. A nice quick find under torchlight tonight. Thanks for the hide
Beautiful view on a sunny day. Wish I'd brought a bag to pick up some of the litter though. TFTC

Very hard to find this one. My GPS was all over the place as it was pretty overcast. Anyway good luck it is a great find. TFTC theseeker321, really enjoyed.the search. Another fav from us.
Found It....FTF Yay.....After spending the last few days in bed nursing the flu it was a pleasant surprise to have 3 new caches pop up this morning to help me get out of bed so after breakfast it was decided to go and have a look for them in the howling gale that was knocking on the back door so with this adding to the still pounding headache we set off. Arriving at GZ soon after and after a quick read or the notes we jumped out and started searching only to be interrupted by a little muggle and her mum walking their dog so after they where out of view we continued searching and battling the gale the cache was finally located so with the log extracted and a clean sheet greeted us we placed our name at the top of the list and with the cache replaced we moved onto the next one. Thanks theseeker321 for the cache
