#2036 A nice quick find in the obvious spot. Not sure how many of this series to find, but found three today! TFTC.
Found 16:02 4/7/21 with TheTrueCornDogs while enjoying a cool winter afternoon walk.Thank you JackaKid for the cache and bringing me to this location.
Another great day of riding around Mulligans Flat looking for traditional caches in the northern and western sections. Found lots of roos and wallabies, one turtle, one echidna and one lizard. Made lots of noise to hopefully discourage slithering reptiles (certainly didn't see any). Really pretty in the far northern section of this reserve.
This cache was a straightforward find at GZ - thanks.

Easy find, swapped out the green charm inside for a glow in the dark trinket. TFTC!
Today a family hike was in order. Mulligans flat was offering nice easy hiking for the whole family as well as lots of caches as we have not been here in 8 years! We had a great 6km hike over a little less than 3h with 17 GCs and 1 GCA cache. I am sure we walked passt some other caches as I have not solved all the caches in the area and will be back some time.

Found on a half day exploring Mulligans Flat. We also found bettongs, echidnas, kangaroos, and a sleepy possum. Great time of year to visit Mulligans. TFTC!
Nice day for a walk to finish off this patch of caches in the north of the ACT. TFTC
Another great day caching in Canberra, the weather was a bit ordinary but that didn't spoil the fun. Started out around Lake Ginninderra and then moved towards Gunghalin and over the border.

Headed north through the reserve with geokid for a leisurely Sunday ride to pick up a few of the stragglers we were yet to have discovered.
Quick find by the geokid. TYFC!

Lovely resting place for an eclipse 10! And beautiful time of day to find it half an hour before sunset
Nabbed some random caches while poking about looking for betongs and quolls.
Lovely day for a wander, unseasonably warm.
Thanks for the cache and the series.

My big day out in the bush is almost over. This is my second last cache. Although I appear to be in a denser part of the bush now, I'm closer to the road and the sound of passing cars is loud and clear. I found gz easily and appreciated the ease of acquiring the cache. No bending down for this one. Nice and easy. TFTC. I look forward to come back and completing more of JackaKid's series of caches.
JohnnyBoyACT and I went in search of geocaches in Mulligans Flat, Bonner and along the ACT’s northern border today. The weather was sunny although cool, the bush of Mulligans Flat was quiet and frosty and the views over Gungahlin from the northern border were most impressive. In all, I added 33 caches to my tally, with two DNFs. This cache was a straightforward find, being in an obvious spot on the coordinates. Thank you JackaKid for installing and maintaining this cache.
A day of caching with Kambahkid in Mulligans Flat NR, the high side of Bonner and up onto the Canberra Centenary Trail. We did some of JackaKid's VC series and others on the line and some of Champs2Monkeys' CCT series. TFTC.
Set out for a big day caching and was very happy to back in this area once again, it was a very nice area to stroll through on a nice warm autumn's day. This was one of many found today, a bit slow at first but after finding the first couple thats when we started to pick up the pace and we were finding them one after another and making good time. Thanks again for placing all these caches.
Out for a day of caching with Jusojara
This was as far north as we made it today. Nice quick find

Found with nissan 65 on a few days away caching Log signed and returned to its hiding place. Thankyou for the cache .
Finding myself with a few hours alone on Christmas Day, a bike ride and then walk in Mulligan's Flat Woodland Sanctuary seemed in order.
Like all today, a nice easy find in a lovely spot. TNLNSL TFTC

Another glorious Spring day in Canberra and I really wanted to get some big numbers up today but the housework, washing and gardening couldn't be ignored forever. That, except the gardening, took me to lunch which I enjoyed sitting outside with my good friend at Caphs in Manuka. Time to go and get some caches.
I had intended to try for some of the Goo caches, but a 3 km walk to the closest I hadn't found took the edge off that idea. Okay, continue on to Forde. There are still some up that end that I haven't found and this was one of them.
They were all found easily enough but some are in need of some TLC. Unfortunately I didn't have any decent size caches with me so maintenance wasn't done. Can I remember which ones require it?
Many thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches for our enjoyment.

It's been a long while since we've done a caching marathon, so today we left The Woofer at home and headed out to Mulligans Flat. We spent just over 5 hours wandering the trails, found 43 caches, and encountered lots of wildlife. We left goodies in every container that would fit one. What a gorgeous place!
A nice easy find. TFTC!

Out caching with Legocacher and ellrav on a sunny Sunday. Trying to fill in some gaps in my Mulligans Flat caches. I enjoy the VC caches as I get to learn all about the VC recipients. TFTC!
Found today while geocaching with Chakram and Ellrav. Thanks for the cache and also for the info on Jensen's VC too.
Out with Geosnag1 for a little Sunday caching as he is an injured runner for a little bit. Let him be in control of the Garmin whilst out today and taught him how to use it to find, makes notes and log caches. Geosnag1 mentioned he did enjoy using the Garmin caching a lot more than the phone for caching. Very lucky that he got me this little device. Nice to share a little caching time in our busy lives. We were lucky to find an echidna on our travels. It was a great day out – not too cold or too much wind.

I was out with Goldenwattle and Decrypter for an afternoon around Gungahlin.
They had both done this one so it was up to me. Once at GZ I soon had CIH. TFTC.

I've got a plan to reach my 8000th find by the 29th but having another 300 to find i needed a couple of weekends in rich caching grounds. Just my luck that i chose to go to Canberra before seeing the temperature forecast!
I only had a few caches left to find on the way down, but once i got there, i hast plenty to choose from. Only the cold slowed me down.
In the end i managed to get 59.
Thanks for the cache.

Took the day to go out for a walk through the area joined by my partner (not usually a cacher).
A nice quick find before we continued along the trail.

Another good find here then continued walking to the next one, very nice weather today.
In the absence of my usual playmates (they're off enjoying themselves in the Red Centre) I decided to come out this way to play by myself. This series has been looking at me for a while, and I in turn have been eyeballing it. I've done some other bits but today it was the turn of this part.
Most co-ords were very good and those that weren't I blame the app on my phone.
Thakns for the series JackaKid and the golfer.

After a break of nearly a week, I decided to get out and collect some caches we've missed so far in Mulligan's Flat.
Knowing I was going to finding some JackaKid caches, I came prepared to replace log bags and do some general maintenance. These containers stand out, so it was easy to recognise I was close when I saw one sitting about 2m away from GZ. The log bags have always been too large for these containers, so replaced it with a much smaller one. Plenty of log space left. Place the container back where it ought to be, generally in good nick.

A great day geocaching with TheSkype and the banker. The reserve was soggy in parts due to recent rains but all found. Tftc. Some logs, caches need some TLC big time.
#1974 Today I found 26 caches with the Green-Martian and The Banker. The grounds are still soggy from all the recent rains. This cache was a quick find. TFBUH JackaKid.
Found on a weekend caching blitz to the ACT with Hoojar and The Rats. We came, we saw, we biked, we walked, we had plenty of fun along the way .
Saturday was our monster day basically tackling the long snake of caches between Majura and Hall. A generic log like the others have used but that does not take away from the great CCT and other cache placements. TFTC!

After a few weeks of planning, and a number of attempts to align calendars, this weekend I came down to Canberra and the ACT area for a big weekend of caching with The Rats and steeba. On bikes, on foot, and in the car, we targeted a number of series and Power Trails placed since our last trip down here. The weather was perfect, the company exemplary, and the numbers achieved exceeded my expectations. It was a very long and tiring weekend, but of course it was also extremely satisfying!
Saturday was a big day. A very big day. Probably classified as a huge day! A massive amount of terrain was covered via various means. We went through suburbia, we rode along trails, we pounded the pavement. We found caches in several series, mostly along the Canberra Centenary Trail and it's surrounds. What a buzz! I really enjoyed the varying terrain, a few hills, some lovely wooded sections, and some amazing views. There is nothing quite as satisfying as going to bed knowing that you are thoroughly exhausted, and really earned your sleep!
Thanks to the all of the cache owners for placing their caches. Sorry for the mainly generic logs.
Cheers
