I have an e-scooter and a taste for exploring Waiuku. This is my first find. TFTC
An evening in and around Waiuku and given the potential of a nice sunset I headed to Kariotahi for a wander along the beach. Being dark now so heading back to town. Not before a Swift detour to look for this cache. Not in the first place I looked. Or the secondOr the thirdGrowing frustrated I headed back to my car and saw the cache dangling !Yay. Thanks flossy63#5530Logged using Cachly.
Found it a while ago but can't see it there now when I looked quickly while walking past.
Quick park and find. Lots of muggle action so had to be super stealthy omg. Tftc
Cache now back in it's approximate original location, a bit easier to access, quick stop before too many muggles up and about this morning, please do not remove whole cache from location, it is not necessary, just unscrew it to get log, then screw back up where it is, Thank you,
Temporarily Disabling, I have walk passed many times, doing a visual check, and I could not see it?, seemed missing, but I was still getting found logs??, today after leaving Doctors looked a bit harder as wet day less muggles around at busy time of day, I gave up started walking home, then was on main road footpath eyed it, 3-4 metres away from were it should be!! for all to see, so managed to grab it and it will put it back in after hours of school and Doctors, this was attached to it's location, and attached to new location? just needs to be unscrewed, who goes to this much effort to move it? I have removed 2 logs, one not signed, no photo proof of log, other logged as found but say they could not find? logged not signed so should have been a DNF.
Out in Waiuku with rattll, getting some early(ish) morning caches. Parked nearby, had the cache in hand after a short hunt. All good inside the container. Tftc!
Ooooh love Doctor Who, but sometimes visiting these doctors can be scary too.No scary issues finding this cache though. Thanks for putting this here
#13,745. I was out at the coast doing the most southerly cache in Auckland and now back to do the adlab in Waiuku. Stopped to pick this one up on the way back. Nice quick find at GZ. Thanks flossy63 for hiding it here.
After spending the day in Awhitu Regional park checking out the condition of our caches, we headed back down to Waiuku for a spot of caching and to grab some dinner as we had a carer for junior cacher for the day......
After having done the Ad.Lab nearby we started searching around Waiuku before grabing dinner....
TFTC.

Quick find, oh wait, no we couldn't find it, but as the previous logs were of a needs maintenance nature we came prepared with a new bison.
Put it on a likely spot that matches the hint, hope that's OK!

Searched in the wrong spot at first and then my friend found it. Nice location

This has been missing for a many weeks I had forgotten to disable it, new cache made is still sitting on my desk, waiting to be placed in a new location,
NZ MEGA 2020 (in 2022) road trip - Day 7
Having had a fantastic day on Browns Island on Sunday, another member of Team Done by 1 (RustyNZ) and I arranged to go looking for the Crayola 64 series. Having completed it by mid-afternoon, we decided that neither of us fancied battling peak hour traffic so would do some more caching around this area. It's been about 10 years since I was last here in Waiuku, and this is my first visit here as a geocacher.
We were really losing the light by this stage of our evening, resorting to using our phone torches for searching, but we both still wanted to press on with a sort of rugged determination in spite of our tiredness.
R had had a look for this one only a few weeks ago, and hoped that a new pair of eyes might make the difference, but sadly neither of us found this cache today. If the Hint is accurate then there are really only 3 potential hide locations, and they were well searched as well as the usual thing of looking, double looking and then treble looking everywhere else.
Time for a CO check on this one?

Super fast and cool cache love the fun this game has brought to our lives thankyou!
After receiving e-mail with below log this evening, saying no log book?,
I was a bit surprised the log was missing?, so printed off a new one and went for a walk at 9:30pm knowing the coast would be clear to check,
The log is there and been signed by below cacher?, log was a bit worse for wear so have now replaced it with the new one,

Found the cache but no log book. We needed to use a hint at the end but very fun
Day 1 on my little weekend Pukekohe escapade - no real plan, just chipping away at the area.
This cache was found easily and without fuss - I could almost spot it from the car. Cheers flossy63, TFTC

We were heading to a Leap day event at Awhitu so picked this one up on the way as it was a nice quick park and grab
Heading to the Leap year event at Awhitu with Merlot58, we detoured to collect this one on our way. As we were passing this one, we stopped here and soon had the cache in hand. Took a moment to check out the artwork before returning to the car.
Was out and about today in Waiuku luckily not to visit the doctor. I came across this cache and thought of finding it . Timing was essential today as there was a few muggles about. After 10 minutes of searching the cache was soon found . TFTC flossy63. TFTC!!!

Temporary Disabled, new guidelines, no longer allowed on Power boxes, watch this space, will be back soon, already eyed up new location so easy for the kids,
I will look into this as soon as possible, on my return home, edited log, thought this was other cache,
Out and about taking advantage of a free afternoon to find hides around rural south west Auckland. It's nice to blow the cobwebs away with a drive in the countryside. I don't think I have been to Waiuku for 6 years, so time to find the caches placed since my last visit. A cold wind is blowing. I parked up, in the car park and made the short walk to GZ. I managed to execute a near instant find here. However, as noted by others, the cache is no longer water tight. I did manage to sign the replacement log though. Cheers for the cache placement!
We were having breakfast at the nearby cafe and saw that this cache was close so walked over to pick it up when we had finished eating.
It had been quite quiet when we arrived but all of a sudden everyone seemed to have decided to go out for breakfast and cars were arriving from all directions so we had to be careful not to look suspicious.
When the coast was clear we were pleased to make a quick find.
The log is soaking wet and can't be signed so we have added a new one.
Nice artwork here and a nice cache container. TFTC.

Easy find, but the log was so wet, I was hardly able to sign it. Found together with Greenkiwikids and signed as Piraten!. TFTC
