Another visit, another DNF. I knew what container I was looking for, and that it would be higher up, and I checked all possible locations I could think of, but nothing. Can it please be checked? Also, if it is no longer reachable, maybe the D/T rating needs to be updated? Or the cache moved by the CO?
After taking the webcam picture I was here as well. Thanks for the cache!

So, couldn't find UL V, and that said that it will be easier if you get Number1. But we couldn't get I either. I was here before during day as well, no luck.

After being away overseas, I came onto campus this morning and checked on the cache. It is ready to be found but might need a tall friend or a broom to reach it now! Happy caching!
This cache is unfortunately unable to be accessed due to maintenance to the nearby building. Hopefully this cache will be enabled soon!
Once we were in the right place it was a nice quick find! Lucky meow is a lot taller than me! Haha tftc
Went past this cache this morning on my way to my office. Looks all good...I can't exactly reach. This cache was originally placed at the base of the pole...now it's all the way up there....
Quick easy find. Not so easy for the others that arrived and started looking for it while we had taken it to sit down and write in the log
Found it thanks to the help of another pair of cachers who were in the process of logging when we arrived to look! Good cold winter afternoon, hardly anyone around.
Attending the uni open day, I wanted to find a cache on campus to say I had been here. I walked over here in the morning and assumed the container was what I saw, hmmmmmm how to?? Anyway made a beeline for this in the afternoon and with the assistance of my not-so-trusty-umbrella-in-the-canterbury-conditions cache was soon in hand
#14287. I thought I'd find a cache today to get up to 20 for July 7 (and 7/7/17 seemed like a nice date to write into a log). I'd sussed out the cache location a week or two back, and decided a pre 7AM raid would be in order (on a slightly scenic route to work). There were a few construction muggles around, but non close to GZ. I had a stretch a little to reach the cache, and then quickly signed the log (it was too chilly to linger). Liked the hide (good to see an in-plain-sight hide in such a busy location). TFTC.
We were monkeys that had learned how to use tools, so we got it down relatively quickly. What a nice location. We signed log as PKWW for PygmyMenace, Kimothy92, Wings108, and Willbotski.
Thank goodness we had monkeys with us. I could not have done that on my own.
Great cache. Few muggles as holiday time. Would be hard in yerm time.
Tftc.

Needed stilts to retrieve. But a little spit on ands as an aid managed to get it. Tftc
PS. on walk back to car missed a turn and realized I'm in a spot I have not seen before... I'm lost... oh well retrace my trail on the GPS. Success.

Challenging retrieval given the terrain rating is only a 1.5. We tried one tool then another with no success. Looked around for something else to assist and eventually managed to retrieve using a combination of tools. Luckily no-one was around to observe our antics on a Saturday afternoon! Placed a bit more accessible for next finder. TFTC!
Enjoying a long and sunny weekend in Christchurch and this morning in Riccarton for the market and some geocaching. Glad I had some extensions with me . TFTC
Out for a post dinner ride with my sister and collecting a couple of caches.
GPS was bouncing around but we finally got it to settle, right on where we started!

Second visit and 9-15pm on the Christmas break meant a good study of the beastie could be made in consultation with Geo jessie. This required a degree of planning! Back to the car and a handy helper obtained and replaced the cache after happily signing the log. This is stretching the 1.5 D/T but technically it is!!! I wonder what the cameras around the area show?! TFTC and the fun. Happy Christmas.
GPS refused to settle on this one but Busy Paws and I continued coming back to the same spot where we thought it was. A guy who might live on campus just began to hover around and so even though we looked around for a little while longer we became slightly un comfortable. We headed back to the car (which we'd parked WAY too far away) and grabbed a tool which just might do the job. Thank heavens that guy wasn't there as we would've looked super dodgy! Cache was signed and put back. Hope those cameras didn't see too much of us, even so if they watched the footage I just about guarantee they'd be having a good laugh at us.
TFTC!

Walked around like a headless chicken with geegeefromfiji and hughdg... then when staring into space, hughdg said "oh, you reckon that's it?" How's your vertical jump?
So obvious once you have found it. Found with odgersaj and geegeefromfiji. Bring a buddy for ease
Mrs All7ofusNZ had attempted this one while on campus for a block course but was unable to retrieve the cache so we returned today with the required equipment (actually just a Jr. Cacher ) All quiet on a Saturday in the early evening and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC.
Today was my second visit to this GZ . My earlier visit was during a University term over a year ago and I arrived at lunchtime, with munching students all around so I immediately turned around and cycled away. As I had been seeking other caches in the vicinity today I decided to have another look. I arrived at GZ with no one else around, so the cache was a quick find this time. Thanks for the cache stephanie..
funny one for me as gem found but was placed a little too high, just out of reach. Watching her jump and down trying to get it, well I have to get my laughs somewhere, after me getting the cache down, signed and returned, TFTC
Cache 67. I have had many classes in this block over the years and walked passed this pole many times. TFTC
Definitely couldn't have found by myself! Wonder how many I've walked past in my life like this and just never seen!
Luckily i wasn't alone when this one was found -definitely a 2 man job for us! Tftc!
Night time caching seemed a good time to nab this baby so as of to be muggled. Was almost out of my league but at a stretch it was in hand. TFTC SL
Pleased I spotted this quickly after two dnf on other locations. Seemed to get a gap between student mobs so hopefully got this logged and returned before the two ladies having coffee and a chat noticed. Lovely sunny autunm afternoon. Tftc now time to get to the airport.
Quick find on a early morning wander around the university. Redevelopment seems to be progressing well. TFTC
A quick find with TregearP.
Always great to be back in the Mainland, and pick a few caches where able.
At the cache, all in good order. TNLNSL, TFTC.

This weekend saw us travel down to Christchurch from Auckland to tackle some caches towards our GIO Licence Challenge on Rangitoto Island. We needed to find 125 caches at least 500km from home, which also consisted of at least 50 different owners. Some cheap flights made Christchurch seem like the perfect opportunity to fulfil these requirements. It was a jam packed caching filled weekend, and a bit of a whirlwind visit, but we got to see some cool things during this time.
No problems with retrieval here on a quiet Saturday morning. Thanks for the hide.

Finally had a chance to replace the logbook for this cache - at 8:00am! Not many muggles and no one was blocking the cache which was excellent. Pencil has somehow gone missing so please BYOP. Thank you and happy caching!
Thanks for the NM log. I've been trying to replace this logbook for a while but muggles have been around or Facilities Mangement have been near GZ. I will do my best to replace it ASAP.
Found while visiting campus with Perlid. She did a study-abroad in 2010 and wanted to share some memories. TFTC
Found and intrigued uni security guard who saw some others the other day looking in same spot. We have a convert!
Another one ticked off before the students return. Quick easy find in the early am.
We are the last name in the Log Book it needs attention ASAP
Cheers Barbara & Terry..

Once we found the correct hint item- we realized that we could see it. Tried to leave it a bit more covered- but I'm afraid the gardeners might come across it sometime. tftc
