Logs
This cache has has had a finder recently who rather than simply accepting a DNF has placed their own container and claimed a find. This is known as a "throw down" and has become so common that it even has it's own [help centre article](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=427).>A throwdown is a container placed by a geocacher who cannot find the original cache.>Some geocachers place throwdowns so that they can log a find on a cache that they suspect is missing. Geocaches should never be replaced without the permission of the cache owner. This can lead to multiple containers, geocacher confusion, and disputes about whether someone is entitled to log a find or not.I'm disabling this cache so that the cache owner can perform their own maintenance on the cache in line with their requirements. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 4 weeks) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.If you require more time please be sure to **post a note** (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require. For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 4 weeks to keep everyone up to date, if you do not then you cache may be archived without further note from a reviewer. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.Ngaambul - Matt
Apparently we are not allowed to replace missing caches now. Pity it is such a great location. Maybe cachers who stop playing the game should be made to archive their caches so others can place new ones in great locations. Perhaps something for reviewers to consider. And by the way it was not replaced to gain a find. It was replaced for the great location.
After looking for this one on my way up the coast, I decided I would replace this one as the location is great. Fabulous views. I replaced the container with a clear sistema and log book. I didnt have a plastic bag so if the next finder has one that would be great.
Hey Nudge74, this gz looks like its now under owner camera surveillance in addition to no one finding the cache on over a year. Please have a look to make sure cache is still here.
We ditched high and low on both sides in both directions and no luck. Maybe next time. The view is amazing.
My guess here is that the security surveillance cameras weren't here when this cache was placed and the owner of said camera was not ok with folks stopping to find it. Or maybe it's just missing or maybe I'm just not finding it .
A small day of caching at Macksville and surrounds with 10 finds overall.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Find took abit of digging out to get and was water logged, replaced with new paper, happy caching
Out at Talarm for WRC stage so had to do this quick one with magnificent views! Tftc
Noice views from up on high
So why did they put the road up and over this hill ??
Surely it would have been easier to go around

will amend coordinates and potentially move the cache further to avoid any disgruntled neighbors. He is a bit strange to say the least.
Yes, thank you Nudge74. The co-ords had us on the high side of the road and it was very steep and slippery up there. So glad we came to our senses and decided to check the other side and made the find. I see you have made changes to the co-ords so hopefully all would be good now. Yes, there are beautiful views from here and we were glad we came today.
Cheers and thanks for the cache!
Cheers and thanks for the cache!
Caching with DiamonJs and Aussie Liahona and signing the logs as Team JAD. Lovely views.
Nudge you need to take a drive and work this one out, it had us on the wrong side of the road, up a hill... and way out coords but thanks to a PAF we managed to get there. TFTC - also neighbour was not impressed by us being there......... but fabulous views.
Finally we managed to swop the blue for a smiley and then of to the CO for a cuppa. Thanks for having us at your place. sl tnln

If the cache was anywhere along the fence line, we think it has gone because the wooden fence has recently been stained (the paint brush is still on the ground) and the barbed wire part has been replaced. Perhaps we were looking in the wrong place or are just suffering with cache blindness. Perhaps you could check it out please Nudge74
Judging by the clue we believe the cache should be hidden on a fence made with wire. There is a brand new, lovely fence complete with solid wooden entrance and gates, but no cache that we could find!
Searched the area but no luck. There is a new fence erected at GZ, not sure if cache is still there.
Quick find and a rest to admire the view, thanks for bringing us here SL and replaced as found TFTC
Nice quick park and grab. But we stopped for a few minutes to take in the great views. Tftc
Found at 2:38 PM GAFF1.
This was the last cache of our week long camping and touring trip. It started the previous Friday at the Diamond Head Event and then we headed over to Gumma Reserve, Coffs Harbour, Thora and then Dorrigo. Picked up about 80 caches and some very tricky FTF's as well.
Drove right upto GZ with the van on and then had to worry about turning it around before getting out and taking in the scenery. Lovely location.
Thanks Nudge74.

Heading to Gumma reserve for the weekend, but always time to find a cache or two.
It we be good to be up here in the dark, the lights from Macksville should look terrific.
Thanks for placing this cache Nudge74

Thanks for the cache. Great views from up here. Haven't been along this road for donkeys years and forgot how windy it is.
Last find of the day on International Geocaching Day, great views. Used to come up this road quite a lot when a very good marine mechanic lived here. Thanks for the cache Nudge
Of course MrsG fell for the good old obvious hide where the cache wasn't but got it in the next good old obvious hide. That log's a tricky little sucker to get out of the container! Nice rural views across to Macksville, that's where we're going. TFTC Nudge74.
We headed over seeing this was still showing as unfound. We parked close and then saw the likely camo to make a quick find. We opened up the the log and confirmed **FTF**. We completed the signing duties and took in the views and waited for a pair of muggles to go down the drive way before we could re hide. TFTC.
