We've been seeing the two caches here for years. Every time we drive past on the highway they show up as being close but we knew they were accessed by other roads; ones we hadn't been on before. So we were hoping somewhere along this one there was a big roomy place to turn around or there would be an awful lot of reversing happening. But there is. Arrived at GZ and soon saw the likely hiding spot. No need to worry about this cache straying - boy, was it wedged in tight! A lovely spot - a real pity the mozzies loved it too. TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity. The cache was very wet. We have dried it out. The log was dry.

Found by Pat & Cheryl at 11:51 am. Thanks for bringing us to this great location and helping us to increase our tally. Really enjoyed this cache Cantcacheus2014 & Forbiddenground and this is #1308 so far for us.
Cache is in great condition, we found a snake skin so we left a spider in the cache container. Only plastic though.

Found at 9:48 AM GAFF1.
After breaking camp at Roses Park and then a very good eggs benedict breakfast in Bellingen we decided to take the caravan on a scenic tour to pick up this isolated cache. We arrived at a spot where the river is very wide and looking into the clear water we could see schools of fish.
Thanks Cantcacheus2014 - tough name to write on log sheets Razz.

I was out and about with Blake (now 4) and we were heading to Urunga. Blake had fallen asleep and the traffic had slowed right down so I escaped the highway and headed to this cache.

We arrived at the spot and I parked a few meters away. Blake woke up when I brought the cache back to the car. After I signed the log, he swapped a Thor toy for a praying mantis. He asked were it was hidden and asked if he could put it back in it's hiding spot so I said "why not". I pointed him to the spot but he didn't quite get the cache into the hiding spot..... and it toppled off.... and it slid down the bank..... and it dropped into the water.

I quickly took off my sneakers and climbed down the muddy bank searching for a long stick. I reached out with the stick as I held onto a small tree and then........... SPLASH as I ended up (feet first) in the water. The bottom of my shorts got a bit wet but the cache was safely retrieved and thrown up to Blake who was watching in amusement. My first attempt of getting back up the muddy embankment wasn't too successful but I found a bigger tree to use and all was good.

Thanks for the cache Cantcacheus2014. I some how doubled the terrain rating on this one and added a "wading required" attribute.

I approached the cache from the east. Initially the new highway works dominate as you drive towards GZ. Once you pass all the construction views of the river make for quite a pleasant drive. I spent most of this part of the drive looking for places to launch my canoe.

I found the cache with some cows watching on. It took me way longer than it should have but I'm very out of practice. I then completed the circuit by driving onto Bellingen.

Was heading down urunga last night to try and get some storm photos but the rain wasnt playing nice. Thought we would stop on the way and grab the new cache. No sooner had we pulled up when the police had us pulled over wondering what we were doing, after a brief conversation and explanation of what geocaching was the were happy and off they went. Soon had cache in hand in obvious spot. Thanks for the new cache. Found with batdos and summerr123
