The bird's nest is deserted. So I gave these three trees a good look over, then read the logs and looked again. But no cache.
This might need a check.

Returning to Canberra from Rutherglen Mega and caching in the area.
Sadly I will log a DNF on this one. My coordinates led me to a tree that had a pigeon nesting in it. I did not want to spend too much time here because of the nest.
Maybe the CO needs to check out and disable while she is nesting.
Today caching and travelling with RoddyC.

I decided to walk from a nearby cache, instead of driving, because the weather was so beautiful today. I passed the same "walker" twice, as well as a couple of families walking their dogs. Lots of little things to acknowledge and be grateful for today.
Arriving at GZ, I discovered the container lying on the ground. Having no idea where it came from, I attached it somewhere as best I could ... but it is there, as secure as I could make it.
Brought a TB by for a quick visit.

Took me a while but found thanks to persistence. The current hide does not match the hint - it's about chest height. The co may want to confirm whether it is in the right spot. Arachniphobes may net be keen. The co may want to confirm whether it is in the right spot.
Out in the cold walking the geodog while visiting my son. Hide was found in the open so replaced better matching the hint.
With my bandmates "needing more time before practice" AGAIN I thought I should pick up a cache or two in the area while I wait. Had to watch out for critters but otherwise a very chill spot. Tftc!
Quick find on a busy afternoon after a research trip to Tharwa. Lots of traffic on this road out of town. Tftc
Found with AngelG27 on a Sunday morning mission to collect a few caches for her stats. She did the expert finding while I did the expert driving. TFTC
Cache 6795 on 22 Nov 2020.
Out on a early morning jaunt with Bobl27 to collect a few caches to top up my numbers for the day. All caches found easily and in line with hints unless otherwise indicated. Even this early, it was warm and the flies were out in force.
Not consistent with hint, but an easy find.
Thanks TheSkype for the cache and the fun!

After an exhausting walk yesterday, fitzy_1965 and I teamed up with Albida33 to grab some 'easier' caches today.
Quick find at GZ today.

Today I was joined by Fitzy_1965 and MinnieK for a trip down south. We had a few walks planned, but the Southern ones were aborted due to flooding in the Gudgenby River. We walked up to the Cemetery and then headed to Lanyon Homestead then did several ladder caches around town before dropping MinnieK off and heading home for a indoor evening.

My quickest find yet. Hard to miss. My 4th find this morning. One more to go.
Not a small scuba as the description suggests! But more just a mint tin thrown at the base of a tree! I hope there wasn't meant to be any more to it, because it wasnt very well hidden and it might get wet in this container / position! Hopefully it will be ok
Thanks TheSkype A nice and quick find !

Afternoon at 5pm nearly time for some epic chicken nuggets for dinner, especially in bed because it is very cold. Found and I guess I could say it was a minty find! TFTC

Found with my mum while clearing out some caches in the Lanyon Valley. Parked nearby and wandered over to GZ to make a quick find. There were lots of tankers and choppers flying overhead towards the nearby Namadgi fire, we could see great plumes of smoke from GZ. TFTC TheSkype.
Found easily enough and placed a signature on the dry sheet .
Thanks to The Skype.

Out caching today with Grub Fred.
This was like taking a SUnday Drive into the countryside. It was good being away from the hustle & bustle of city caches.
We had a really good morning , good company & some good hides found.
Thanks for placing this cache TheSkype

Finally the Mega is here in Queanbeyan. Today we joined forces with Robmc and Betty Boo and headed for the hills collecting a few along the way.
We joined in the geotour for The Stuff of Nightmares for a wonderful afternoon of caching in company. We weren't planning to do anymore as it was gettign late but we got stuck behind a very slow p-plater so we grabbed another couple.
Thanks for contributing to the fun TheSkype

15365 Day 2 of our Clear Waters Mega. Robmc, The Morris and I headed back to the Showgrounds so we could finish off the trads and Lab Caches and one little Puzzle before heading south to join Dwarf Exploder for a tour of his Nightmares Series . Gathered a few more on the trip back to our accommodation.
Last find for the day as we head for dinner and home. TFTC.
Thanks TheSkype

Day two at the Mega, so BettyBoo3747, The Morris and I started at the Show grounds, completing the lab caches, and doing a few others caches in the grounds, and generalling chatting to other cachers.
We spent the afternoon at the Stuff of Nightmares Tour, a lovely stroll lead by Captain Ben.
Our last cache for the day.
This container has grown up from a small scuba tank to a mint tin.
Thanks, Robmc.

Day 15: Clear Waters Mega Trip
The plan for today is picking up random suburbs, Trail of the Damned, Stuff of Nightmares and other exciting DT ratings (hopefully some letterboxes ).
Thanks TheSkype for being part of my Clear Waters adventure.

I think the 'scuba tank' has morphed into an Eclipse tin. No matter, found safe and secure. TFTC
