WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 37 - Narrogin Day. I have had my eye on all the Labs in and around Narrogin for quite some time. I have done a few short days to get here and spend a day. The rain seems to be delayed for at least a day, and it was sunny and clear all day, just a bit windy at times. I walked around town for the six sets of labs there and ventured a bit further afield for the rest of them. In amongst all the Labs I did what Caches I passed, but once the Labs were sorted out, it was time to loop around own to visit the bonus caches and lots of traditional caches. I then went back to the van for lunch and looked at what I could do in the Foxy Lair reserve. I managed to spend an afternoon in and around the reserve doing a few short walks and some ice caches alongside the orienteering event that was on. I finished the day with the pub in town and headed home for dinner and logging. After lunch I went into the Foxy Lair reserve. I had a great time and visited several interesting locations from a clay pit, an escarpment, a granite outcrop and the arboretum. There were a few tree fishing caches that happily worked. The CMS series was a different take on a multi. Thanks for the cache Foxydoug47336.24 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & QLD Mega 2015 Stanthorpe A#309**Albida**
Today Taurus Six and I have decided our geocaching plan for the day is to head to the Narrogin area and collect the outstanding caches that we never got around to getting during the WAGB event in June . We did collect lots that weekend but there were still lots more to get be time we left. Today is the first opportunity we have had to get back to Narrogin, since then. It was a lovely drive over this morning from Bunbury. Spring has definitely sprung and the canola fields are looking particularly sensational at the moment. There were also lots of beautiful wild flowers in full bloom in many of the places we visited which was a bonus for the day. The other bonus was having a lovely hearty breakfast at the Williams Wool Shed, this is up there with our favourite eating spots. All in all a great days geocaching and exploring .
This is our fourteenth cache find of the day along with a nearby Adventure Lab. We are enjoying a lovely walk through Foxes Lair on a beautiful spring day while the birds are in full song and the wild flowers are in full bloom. Perfect location for a geocache . Thanks for the cache dswkins .

Day 6 of our Narrogin WAGB23 long weekend. Up for some more fun with Geotrakka. The weather has turned, it’s raining and a bit chilly, but we have raincoats so I’m sure we can find a few today.

Day 6 of my WAGB23 trip. Heading home - waited for the weather to calm and grabbing the last few finds along the way. Many thanks Foxydoug for placing this hide for me to find and adding to an awesome weekend at WAGB23. This will be my 6501 find.
Last morning of WAGB 2023 collecting the last of our unfound caches before leaving town. Tried for this one at night but couldn’t find the right way to get into GZ. Alot easier in daylight although couldn’tavoid the rain. TFTC dsawkins.
Out hunting with team adinache in the rain finishing up town before we go home. We had a look for this one at night but couldn’t find a easy way in. Much easier in the daylight. Interesting historical features here
In Narrogin with BJA3 for the WAGB23 event.
Many thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining this hide for us and others to enjoy!

In the area for WAGB #10 who would have though back in 2013 that it would still be going strong all these years later.
Loose plans to enjoy ourselves this long WA day weekend with good company, plenty of laughs, a heap of fun and a few caches no doubt.
Out today with Kyzabra, and The Fitzys
Alas no triple chocolate fudge cake left.

WAGB23 The main objective today was to head down to Wagin as that LGA has somehow escaped me on previous visits out this way! Once back in Narrogin I then had a drive around ticking off a few more unfound caches The final few targets for the day were the remaining caches & ad lab stages in the Foxes Lair - largely because I was staying in the caravan park opposite! Nice walk here from the car - interesting to read about the rifle range. A nice quick find once at GZ. Another caching team were approaching just as I left. All ok here today - TFTC
Visiting from the east and heading to the WAGB event and caching along the way and at the event and areas around Narrogin then on to Kulin and back to Perth via a quick visit to Albany. Thanks to all the various COs for placing caches (or EC and virtuals) for us to locate, learn and explore. Signing as Team East+2.
Headed down to Narrogin with ChickenHawk07 for my 10th WAGB.

In Narrogin for WAGB 2023, ullyssia and I teamed up today to find as many caches as possible in and around town. We also attended the events, had fun in the puzzle room and went for a bit of night caching! The weather was perfect and it was nice to run into other caching teams throughout the day. Thank you very much to the organising committee for an enjoyable weekend!

Wish I'd looked at the pic before coming out here. I have no coverage at all. I'm so glad that a little of the cache colour was peeping out and I spotted it. It may be my phone, but my co ords were about 8mtrs off. TFTC ??
Find # 8,131 for me on 2 June 2023 at 3:05 pm.
Today we looked around Narrogin, did some Adventure Labs and some of the caches placed around the town. This is one of the caches I found with PamJ.
Nicy hidden in a beautiful location.
Thanks Foxydoug, for giving back to the game.

Tad damp - on a big holiday on a multi mission and out on trusty treadles. Another happy find in an interesting landscape. TFTC and the FUN!
Good find here. Interesting info at the rifle range butt mound nearby. Lid is loose and cache has taken on some water. Drained and tried to provide more protection. TFTC.
Took a bit of searching and looking at previous logs to finally spot the cache TFTC
On my way down to Narrogin for a couple of nights. Drove down via Pingelly, as a first to find was up for grabs. However, I was unfortunately second to find by only about 15 minutes. If I’d left in the morning like I had intended to, I might’ve nabbed it.
I convinced ebenie to take me a bit further up the track to this one. It was a short walk down the track from the vehicle track. Cache was in ripper condition. Cheers Foxydoug!
Join me at the 10th anniversary of WAGB in Narrogin on Friday 2 June to Monday 5 June 2023. There’ll be plenty of geocaching fun to be had, I can’t wait to see you there!

Camped at the Railway Dam in Narrogin on my way to Hyden and beyond and thought I'd pick up a couple of the local smiley's. I like to do my GC'ing on foot to get the exercise, but this one really got the cardio working. Found this one at 10:55 this morning. TNLNSL TFTC dsawkins

After grabbing some FTF’s and fuel in Kulin we headed back to the farm to have a very late breakfast before starting our way home via Wickepin and Narrogin.
Another successful day in the Wheatbelt arriving home with 73 finds and 0 DNF’s
