Revisiting Tamworth after living here for a brief moment 35 years ago. The goal was to join in on parkrun and to turn as many markers to yellow smilies!
Thank you handlel for your contribution to this great game.
Continuing on my afternoon of caching, this little hide was next. Initially looking in the wrong spot I decided to change position and the little treasure was found. What a cute idea. Log signed and container nestled back in place for the next finder.

Drove past this pretty tree-lined park on the way up to the lookout and thought it deserved a cache. I was not disappointed!
I found this one by torchlight in the early evening which added to the fun!
What a cute and clever cache. Hoping I have a favourite point to award!
Thanks For The Cache!

What a nice park and quiet surrounds. A clue in Ms Maddie's log assisted, thanks. TFTC
In Tamworth for the East Coast Sidecar ramapage, held out at Oakburn park tonight. We have a day of cacheing ahead of us, clearing Tamworth, but also picking up some hidden dates i have not got. This one had us searching the wrong structure, but then we turned our attention to gz. Soon haqd cache in hand, then Mad read some logs, which would of helped, if i had not found it. Nice hide. TFTC.
This is one of the caches we targeted and found thankyou for giving us the opportunity to explore. We are now heading home to Queensland after attending the Wangaratta event . Fav
Once the GPS settled down I found a very cute cache. This park brings back memories. TFTC
Like a previous finder the bowl was empty,so like a previous finder replaced with a little container packed in with grass clippings.TFTC
A lazy Sunday and needed some fizzy water so decided to take a scenic drive to the shops
Not sure how previous cachers can log something that is not here But replaced with a new container and log and covered in its nest.

Wow we! What a struggle. First we have to figure out which tree. Then look at each one 50 times until eventually – bingo. Very clever. Worth a fav
A very well done cache. After reading other logs, I had a clue what I was looking for but I still walked around in some cachers circles a few times. I was met by the local dogs and had to avoid the pine nuts dropping on my head from the birds feeding above. The find gave me a little chuckle as this is such a good version. Deserving of a fave point.
Looking looking looking, then waiting until the lady passed by with her dogs, looking looking then finally spotted something! How eggciting! How eggcellent! Giving a fave!

#7127 Day 6 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are in an around Tamworth NSW. We still needed to grab a few we missed on the way in and explore Tamworth in general. The weather was warm but calm today and lots of people are on the move.
Indeed it was . A wonderful creation.
Thanks Anjakel

This tree or that tree? In the end it was in plain sight in one of the trees! Thanks.
Great hide, I'm not thing to say the same things about the hide other then we were eggstatic to eventually find it. Tftc
We searched for quite a while on this one, and found it just as we were about to give up. TFTC!
This was an eggcellent cache. Super creative. I appreciate the extra effort for this one. TFTC!
Took a bit of finding but got there in the end. Had a chuckle to myself because I own a similar cache.
This cache took is a while with coords jumping...cute lil cache...fave point ..shame to see log crammed back in..we straightened it out and rerolled to make a much easier extraction for next finder...thanks Anjakel
Another cool little cache. The GPS said one side of the path but we found it on the other. Great fun and the kids loved it - they award you an FP! TNLN TFTC
Not today.... I blame tiredness, near darkness, and what is probably a great hide.....
Not really a DNF because it was pitch black dark. Found a painted georock around GZ but will have to come back during the day.
Second time on this one and a success! It was exactly where we looked last time but was in place this time, thanks for the maintenance! Willay and Skiyup
Have replaced the inner section of cache as I can’t locate where it has been rehidden, cache is once again nestled in treloar.
Spent a while on this one looking through all the sneaky hidey holes but couldn’t find Willay and Skiyup
We just arrived in Tamworth after a day of Caching from Valla Beach, Hillgrove, Armidale and now here. We thought we would attempt this one before calling it a day.
When we arrived at GZ, we thought it was just a process of elimination. Thankfully after a short search, cache was well hidden and in hand.
Many thanks for bringing us here. TNLNSL TFTC

Caching in and around Tamworth, we picked up a few caches with Whitewebbs and this was one of them.
No birds at home today, we made an easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Hi there handlel. Today was a day for touristing (and 'caching where possisble) around Tamworth. While we only managed 4 finds today - each one deserves a {FavPt} in itself for the extra effort made by the CO in setting up the cache. I certainly appreciate caches like these rather than a cliplock in the bush or a bison haning off a tree branch. This cache and log are in good condition. SL. Thanks to handlel for this cache - our find #6574.
Looked in the wrong place for a bit, but widening the search to other candidates worked a treat. TFTC!
Morning run to Oxley Scenic lookout. Two caches way to down there. TFTC and Greetings from Finland! TB in!
Hi there handlel.
Today was a drive around the 'burbs of Tamworth, logging caches along the way. The caches we found were all well placed, and the for the most part had pretty accurate coordinates. We can see that a lot of thought has gone into the placement of all the caches we found today.
All up we found 28 caches & DNF'd 2 in this cache run. Thanks for placing the caches. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache exactly where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** A gold coin.
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Excellent caché. GPS had me nestled in the wrong spot but cache found in adjacent location. TFTC
Whilst doing a trip around NSW following the Murray and Darling Rivers, visiting the following places, Young, Mulwala, Barham, Wentworth, Mungo National Park, Copi Hollow, Wilcannia, Louth, Brewarrina, Warrumbungles and Tamworth, crossing over the border to visit some adjacent town on the way. No find for this one today. To many cuts and blood, Probably spent to much time looking for the rating.. Will have to try some other time handlel.

Found with my boys on a boys quick camping trip up here for two nights. After finishing work I picked up the boys and headed off straight away. Next day we headed out to find as many non 1.5/1.5 rated caches as were around. Some fun and cheeky caches around these parts.
Took a while to find. GPS was pointing in another tree.
Thanks for the bridge and cache!

I had attempted this one before but had no luck. With an extra set of eyes today we found it after looking in the wrong spot for a while. But there was just so many places it could be. TfTc
The app had us at the wrong tree. We were close just not close enough There are so many possible hidey holes but we eventually found where it was resting.
Another day on our northern exposure run sees us out and about for a nice days drive
Thanks Anjakel for showing us this place nestled in Treeloar and giving us another smilie.

Decided to spend a few days in Tamworth with my geodog Scruffy, so we just had to get out and find some of the caches hidden in my old home town.
All Good .. TFTC ..

I am sure that I have been here before. Still a fault for me. That makes a double fault. Like so many before me I need help or a better hint.
