This weekend, I joined gridge98 on a trip to Eyre Peninsula, primarily visiting Port Lincoln and its surroundings. We saw its famous marina full of trawlers, and we also ended up visiting Coffin Bay and enjoyed fresh oysters. A nice weekend with weather, and certainly a great vicinity to see.
Today leaving Whyalla, we headed down the Lincoln Highway, passing through Cowell, Cleve, Arno Bay, Port Neill, and Tumby Bay. Just prior to lunch, we also completed the *Cleve Cleaver* geoart trail. A rather long day of geocaching numbers, but the inland and coastal towns were enjoyable to visit, along with the various picturesque beaches along the way.
With the CO performing maintenance on this cache following it getting archived, we thought we may be able to find this replacement cache still here. However after diligently searching the table and surroundings, we still couldn't find this cache. Perhaps it has been muggled in the last 1.5 years, or otherwise the CO has removed this old cache? Thanks anyway Geo-Ambos; we were also hopeful in getting this cache's clue for the puzzle cache too.

Cache replaced again with a nano container. I don’t know if the bolt containers were being stolen or dropping off but I cannot afford to keep replacing them you will need to bring your own tool to get the log out- a bobby pin may work!
An action had been taken on this cache because of one of the following -
One or more of the following has occurred:
No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
Please remember to return to the GZ and collect the cache or Check it has been removed if you have not already done so.
We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash and if you have any TB's or coins in your cache I'm sure the owners would want them moved on.
Should you like to resurrect the cache please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
This cache is carrying one or more logs which suggest some attention by the cache owner is needed.
The guidelines advise that the CO should make occasional visits to check on the cache as well as promptly address any logs that indicate that the cache requires some attention. If you can not attend to the issue promptly, then you need to Disable the cache - I have disabled it this time.
Please respond to this situation (or indicated your intentions including a date) within **28 Days**, otherwise it will be necessary to withdraw the cache from the Active listing. The [Geocache Maintenance guideline](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.
**And don't forget,** once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; [Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; [Temporarily Disable and Enable ](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) to get your cache up and running again.

Searched for this cache three times , but gave up as it appears to be missing again
I found it with mum good hiding spot exited when I opened it as it was my first one
Love the hide. But I reckon a high muggle risk in fine weather. Lucky it was dull and cold today. TFTC
Fresh logbook oh my! Very cool, thank you met a lovely dog friend while hunting for this one.
As promised, GC has now been replaced! Hopefully this one doesn't go walkabouts again...
This was reported missing but when checked, was still there. Unfortunately did go missing so have been waiting for a new container to arrive. Promises to replace this weekend!! Sorry all...
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Another gone cache. Intected the three adjacent ferro magnetic objects. None of them has a cachey thing.
My grandad and I found this cache while on our way back to Adelaide from Port Lincoln - I was on my learners and had driven all the way from Canberra to Port Lincoln and back! A great road trip to improve my driving skills and experience.
Stopped over at Tumby Bay to break up our journey and found this cache on the way. Awesome hide, always love these types of caches. Our thanks to Geo-Ambos!

This one was a bit tricky, took forever to get the log out and then the biro wouldn't write on the paper - can supply a photo of the log. Nice location, we really like this town! TFTC
Staying at the RV stop for a couple of days and came into town to do some shopping and to get our cache fix for the day. This was a nice easy find but had to wait for muggles to walk away first. TFTC
We stayed in Tumby for a couple of nights so we could "clear the decks". This series naturally figured highly on our visit. Thanks Geo-Ambos.
CPwanderer, GoodLook and I headed off for a weekend in Port Lincoln via an overnight stop in Whyalla
Our weekend was unexpectedly extended by a day due to illness and so my tally at the end of the 'weekend' was 168 cache finds
Sadly this was marred by a massive 28 DNFs
Port Lincoln, despite being virgin caching territory for all 3 of us, did not provide us with the pleasure that we had anticipated
So many of the caches were bison tubes and those that we did find, quite often were in places where a larger cache could have been hidden The other issue was the lack of maintenance on many caches
There are people trying their best to maintain the 'wheres wolly' cache hides however their resources are stretched thinly..... so if you are heading over, please pack heaps of cache maintenance containers, bags and log books and help out where you can. [^]
That being said, the trip was still a blast and some great caches were found and great views were seen!
I really enjoyed this series despite being unable to find cache #5 even after 2 attempts
Thanks to the kindness of the CO we were at least able to find the final puzzle cache
I've seen this type of cache hide before but it's always good to find them

This was one of the caches found on a three day odyssey on the Eyre Peninsula! Myself, GoodLook and locuscache had never cached south of the Cowell/Cleve area so we had high hopes of some great caching. We worked our way down through Port Neil and Tumby Bay and grabbed those along the highway plus a few a little further afield.
Our time in and around Port Lincoln was frustrating. Lots very small micros, lots of very rusty tins and more dnfs than ive ever had in a day before this. We were very fortunate that local cacher , Roming Wendy joined as. Her expert knowledge of the town certainly helped. A medical issue had us stay a third day. This worked out very well as we could do some relaxed caching on our way home.
A special thanks to Roming wendy for her help and to those who hid caches in the area … particularly the Geo-Ambos, Wheres Wolly and Viper321. Special thanks also to my “mildly obsessive” caching buddies on this trip …………………………… amazing fun!!
An easy find here!! Thanks Geo Ambos!!

A great little series that took some looking to find the caches. We found all but #5 in the series, but the lovely CO provided us with the hint from that unfound cache so on our return trip 2 days later we were able to complete the calculations and stop in and collect the mystery finale. WOO HOO!
Found whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache, with the aim of the weekend to cache in and around Port Lincoln - fresh territory for us all. We certainly had a great time, however with a DNF rate of about 40% [:(!], it was tough going! We did however thoroughly enjoy the beautiful locations and scenery.
After joking all day on the Sunday we should spend another night in Pt Lincoln, circumstances presented that meant we needed to extend our time away! We took it slowly on the way home which enabled us to once again visit some terrific places
Thanks for the cache

A quick find and in plain sight, the clue helped, a favourite point from us, now for a spot of fishing, from the jetty. TFTCSL
LOVED this one... Loved the challenge, the placement, the view, thanks so much...
Hi there Geo-Ambos.
We found your cache **"Welcome to Tumby Bay #3"** at 2:48:04 PM today. This cache makes our find count 13764.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the local area. We usually start the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then take a route mainly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. Today we started in Tumby Bay and ended up finding 11 & DNFing 0.
Today's journey was a little different because our GPS didn't have any caches in it that were "Micro" sized and contained the word "Nano" in the description. Nor were there any caches that had lots of DNF logs. We knew there were quite a few caches that were in the "Welcome to Tumby Bay" series so we had to resort - rather unsuccessfully - to using our iPhone. After transferring the coordinates to our GPSr the remaining caches in the series were successfully located.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Checked and all good to continue, kids love looking at the new things placed in and the list of finders
Tried again after number 6! Very sneaky indeed. I was looking for a container rather than a clue
We searched & searched twice today but came up empty. We'll try again another day. TFTC cheers
Nice quick find after seeing this style cache many times before , for new caches tink outside the square and look for something out of place , good luck tftc
We hunted some locations but the main structure was being used by a family so stealth was impossible today.
Out and about with &0thers on our visit to Tumby Bay. Lovely spot for lunch. Checked out a couple as we strolled around the town. Excellent camo. Nice easy find. Thanks for the cache
Staying in Tumby Bay for a few days we set off finding the caches around here cleaning up a lot of unfounds from previous trips, as we make our way back to our accommodation we stop and grab these ones, after we had found a couple we discover we were suppose to collect clues, the next morning as we headed out we stopped and revisited the cache to get the clues : ) TFTC
Clever clever hide . Took the cleverer member to find this. Great hint
It's cold it's wet, what would you much rather be doing on the horses birthday! !! Tftc

Found on holiday in Tumby Bay with Nannajoan7, Sirod7 & Lori41. TNLNSL Thanks for the hunt,
Found at 2:42 PM GAFF1.
Ah - yes. I can see a difference between that one and the others. Nice work though This place in summer would be a tough place to find the cache, but today it was a breeze! Talking about breezes - it was blowing a cold gale. That's the second time we have come through this area in 4 years and we have experienced the same weather - consistent that's for sure.
Thanks Geo-Ambos.

Found by Mary & David at 1034. Left Port Lincoln this morning, at the start of our long journey home. Cached our way north to Whyalla for the night. Mmm - we checked out the local bakery for morning tea, and had it here. A nice quick find to go with it. Our thanks to Geo-Ambos.
Great hide thanks for the real cache fits perfectly out with devil55 and gothickitten91
