Got right up to it, then second guessed myself and continued searching. Eventually I returned and located the cache. Log is wet
After attending an event in Ballarat I paused on my return journey to make the search. The cache was found in good condition.
Found this one with a little help from persistence. Phone GPS was a bit off, but eventually had our hands on the cache. Container still in need of TLC but otherwise all good. TFTC.
Find 504 on 4 May 2024Mum was the one to find this cache. Very great little hide TFTC Buckleysbabe
Find 5174 on May 4, 2024 Found on a "stuff it, let's go geocaching" type of day.Cache had dried out somewhat and is signable again. TFTC Buckleysbabe
Easy find with helpful hint but difficult to get out. The lid has disappeared and contents are unsignable. I left a stone on top to restrict further drenching: Simone and David
Walked down and had to wait for a muggle walking his dog to pass. We struck gold and made a quick find! Despite waterproof paper the container has lost its lid and had water in it. TFTC!!
A nice quick find on my website at from Ballarat. The log was quite wet but still able to be signed. TFTC.
Came this one after coming back from celebrating my 18th birthday in Ballarat. What a fun day it was, and even better now that I found this cache. Very cleverly made and almost missed it from the angle we came in from. Definitely made it more difficult than it needed to be. Tftc!
I walked up to GZ and went whats that? Very easy but i am impressed. I would do a similar cache style sometime, but maybe not gold.Pika 23/9/23
I love the cache design, but the log really needs a zip lock bag to keep it dry. Great hide.
This is such a cool cache! In fact I give it a golden nugget award ! Get it??? Thank you!
Out and about with Muggle Husband and daughter Shufflehop, we decided to visit historic Steiglitz. We decided to have lunch in Meredith, after which some caches needed to be found. This was a quick and easy find.
On a round trip down to Steiglitz and back and stopped here on the way past. Now in Meredith and the search was on for the Coolebarghurk series. Took a few minutes to get this one out, but all was good and the log was soon signed.
Thanks for the cache Buckleybabe....
Thanks for the cache Buckleybabe....
I decided to swing by Meredith on my way home this afternoon to collect a few smiley faces.
Beautiful town, beautiful goat cheese and beautiful weather for a cache. The nearby sheep decided to come over for a chinwag which was nice. Log is wet but signable.Ready for its next visitor.
Thanks for the cache

Out at Narmbool for the day. Had a break so got out and stretched the legs.
Cache found in fair condition, lid missing and log damp. Log signed and returned to its hiding place.

After recent logs suggesting the logbook for this guy had gone missing, I did a welfare check after a meeting in town and placed a new log in the cache, which is looking a little worn and may soon need an update. The lid is still missing, however I use stone paper for my logbooks, so the weather shouldn't be a problem as long as the log itself doesn't go AWOL again.
Happy caching!
Happy caching!
End of the line re this little quaint trail. I found the cache but no log, unfortunately I left the Geo backpack in the van so was unable to replace log. CO msg permission to log find granted. CO will attend to in due course.
Thanks for the cache. We went out to steiglitz to do the cluedo series but no phone reception saw us back track to Meredith to pick up a few around here
We were heading up to Ballarat for an appointment and decided we needed a break on the way to stretch the legs and let the geodogs, Gypsy Girl, Teeny Treek and Mini Michi, out for a wander and to check out the local news.
This seemed as good a spot as any, and it had the added advantage of having a cache for us to find.
After we had allowed the geodogs to catch up on the news and had them back in the geomobile Joey, we were free to look for this cache.
It took a little bit for us to find it, but we did find it and are happy to report that the cache is in pretty good condition.
Thank you for this Traditional cache Buckleysbabe.

Great container! Of course followed the geocaching rule of hard way in easy way out. TFTC
Quick find but be careful of the spiky tree. I’ve now found 5/6 Meredith caches! Tftc time to go home for dinner
Found no problem but it hasn’t got a lid anymore. Seems to be surviving without it. Tftc
I headed down to Geelong early yesterday for the 2 events that were on in the area and after staying at Bunjil’s lookout at Maude last night it was then off to the 2 events near Ballarat today.
I left nice and early as I planned on finding a few caches before needing to be in Smythesdale by 9.30am for the first event.
I have not been along here before so it is nice travelling on roads and in areas that are new to me.
Made it to Meredith and if my memory is correct they used to have a music festival in town.
Found the last one in the Coolebarghurk Creek series out of town so now to see how many I can find in town apart from the one disabled.
After relocating the Geocruiser it was then a walk through the wet grass due to last nights rain to look for this one.
Soon located the stash and I wonder if I have found some of the original stash from way back then.
Thanks Buckleysbabe TFTC.

On our way to Anglesea to visit family & have a break away. Lovely day for a drive and pick up caches TFTC
We are on our way to Ballarat to get our 2nd Pfizer jab because we couldn't get an appointment in our home town Geelong. Thought we would grab a couple of cache's on the way . TFTC
Log replaced this afternoon. Still no lid as there is really no way to replace it, however the log is made from stone paper and will survive the weather without turning to pulp. Will look at making a replacement container.

Lovely spot and nice camo- lid has fallen out and original log gone- Replaced with a piece of cardboard for the time being. Tftc
Pleasant walk. Figured out where this would be. Container is missing its lid. Had to retrieve the log as it had fallen in. TFTC
Found it today, we decided to come across to Meredith and find a few caches while the weather was not too hot. A successful day. This cache is missing its lid and needs some attention. TFTC
Day 1 of our epic trek to the St Arnaud Mega via Geelong. As you do.
The constant was my travel companion for the entire trip, - Anymules. but we were joined by almost local cacher Bushfire for a lot of the escapades
But today it was a the case of making our way towards out first stop in Geelong caching along the way.[:o)] Another unopened cache near our route to Geelong. We just had to make a stop and find it.
**Thanks Buckleysbabe for this cache. **

A day off work today so I'm getting out around this area caching. I'm glad someone has mowed the grass, had to watch out for a large rusty piece of metal sticking out of the ground. I think the cache is missing it's lid and if has been replace with something else but good design in the making of it. TFTC
I am impressed with the amount of work that has gone into your caches. Thank you so much!!
TFTC buckleysbabe. All that glitters? Nice hide. Onward to the next one. Jimmytherat with Noelle04
Found today while out for a drive with muggle hubby. This one had us walking in circles. Many thanks for the cache.
Found this one on the way home form Ballarat. The phone took me around in a cicle but I got there. Nicely hidden.
In Geelong today to drop the kids off with Grandad whose soccer team was down for the weekend from Melbourne (they got to go back to Melbourne on the bus with the soccer boys - all rather exciting). I was flying home solo now so another cache or two was on the cards. Quick find and I was super speedy through the long grass. I still have a few more in this trail. Maybe over winter! Thanks for the cache.
This log is to tidy up a mess I made with GSAK . I forgot to apply the template so my finds were published with a nonsensical log.
Rather than try and edit all the logs I post this not with what the log should have been.
My apologies for the confusion caused.
A few days away with Freddo, e.gregory1 and The White Dog Gang.
Fun was had by all. Not too many dnfs
Most logs signed as FETT.
Thanks for all the caches.

Some pretty hot days but great scenery and good co-ords & caches hides made for an enjoyable trip

Found on a short, post-Christmas sojourn to Victoria with Freddo, Team Waldron and thewhitedoggang that involved plenty of driving, cycling, walking and even some boating and wading.
The weather was on our side (albeit a little warm at times), which made for some great caching. There were plenty of varied finds, with some excellent and often tricky hides and and just a few DNFs. We signed most logbooks ‘F.E.T.T.’
Thanks Buckleysbabe for the cache.

Out on a wander to explore somewhere new whilst my wife goes on a course. This little town made a great stop.
I did the caches as two separate loops as I couldn't figure how to get from one set to the other without electricuting myself. Glad I had long trousers as there were a few patches of long grass, though I didn't see any snakes on this warm and quiet day.
This was probably the most difficult to get to, and very well camouflaged. TFTC

Found with Tyred n Cranky.
Down in Anglesea for a weekend family trip. While Tyred n Cranky had found quite a few in the area they decided to stop at a lot of them to let me claim some smilies.
Last day and heading home today, so it was kind of a "Map Clean up" day and just to try and grab some more in and around Anglesea and on the way home.
Seeing as I only had 3 here in Meredith and Tyred n Cranky only had 2 we decided to "Clean out"
Oh MY not more Long grass at GZ. and they cut it down so close too. Oh well thankfully Tyred n Cranky were here to help with the grab, as i was looking up the wrong post for a while.

Heading home after being down in the Torquay area for the weekend to take our geodog Penny to the beach (and she loved it), and also to do some caching. At this time of year the weather was good to us for both activities. On Saturday, first up we concentrated on getting the caches in Torquay before moving onto the G2Anglesea Trail. We started the trail at #44 and finished at #87 making our way back to Anglesea where we were staying.
Today, Sunday we done a few more on the trail before we headed for home, starting at #118, finishing at #88 and grabbing a couple of others along the way. Then into Torquay to give Penny one last swim at the beach before heading home.
On the way home we planned on doing five and this was the last one of them. Another walk for Penny down to locate the cache, and another quick find. Now back to the van and homeward bound we go.

As the hours slipped away it was tempting to park right at GZ here, but we opted for the short walk instead. The little cacher enjoyed the approach with no branches at his height. We found the container but the lid was missing. TFTC
Found while on our way to Geelong for some retail therapy for the geowife and i need 6 caches for my 1000 cache milestone which i hope to be the Geelong xmas dinner tonight.
Now that's how you turn a mint tin into a golden cache, very clever! Logbook is dry but the lid is missing. Thx for your cache, Buckleysbabe

On the way back from Ballarat for work and stopped for some of the few remaining caches along my route.
This one looked like a quick walk and usually always a nice spot by BB
A nice walk down here and little trail. Particularly liked the themed hide alone this series which is a unique theme from this CO. Enjoyed reading the history of this little town - may have to try and incorporate Melville's loot somewhere!
Cheers

Our last day in the area before we head back to Tassie. Heading to Meredith to drop off the muggle mum/mum-in-law at a meeting place where my sisters will then return her to her home in Maryborough. Before meeting up we decided to do a few quick caches. This one was quite quick after the GPS actually headed us in the correct direction.

Enjoyed the walk along the creek bed collecting the odd cache along the way and this one was found with spot on co ords. TFTC
