This series has run it's course and sadly it seems the areas that they are hidden are no longer being maintained. I have gone out this weekend and removed the containers that were still in place. Happy Geocaching and thanks for visiting Terror's Creek.
Please stop bushbashing to this geocache. It was designed to be waded to hence the attribute and terrain rating. If bushbashing continues I will have to archive it.
Out with a group doing some placements in the area today. We decided to grab this before we headed home. TFTC!
What a gorgeous little creek area. The surrounding neighbours must be taking care of it as it no longer reflects the high grass bushy spot of previous photos.
Crawled through the barbed wire and along the bank. Couldn’t see anything from up a so e so had to slide down the side Found mice and dry. TFTC
Out with the Cache QLD crew to collect a few of the unfounds in the area while new ones are placed for the event. Lovely spot, thanks for maintaining this cache Net88.
Again the black flats worked a treat. Rather a bush bash and I was scared of the barbed wire after a full attack last weekend! ESCR was the first to spot the cache . Glad it is tethered! Tftc
We parked where the waypoint said to park and saw what we thought was the path we needed to take on foot, but we were stopped before we even got started by the neighbours, informing us that glengariff way lead to a private property. I’m sure this is the way we needed to go, however we were well and truly muggle’d on this one.
A sneaky little Hide. The creek was flowing nicely so there was just a little bit of wet toes as we crossed to the other side. I’m sure sometimes it could be a lot deeper. After a short walk through some scrubby bush, we soon had what we were looking for.
All good here!
Thanks

Out with Chamad for half the day today. It was a bit of a late start, but we still managed 16 finds.
The day started at Wamuran after catching up with Grannysmith1947 to grab a cache with her. Once we finished up Chamad and I were discussing where we should go next. He said he needed a few more caches towards the north to fill in his 360 from home, so that's when we decided to head towards D'Aguilar, Mount Mee and back down to Dayboro.
Most finds were pretty straight forward, some were a bit of a struggle, but that's part of the game. There was plenty of people around, which is to be expected at the moment as they've eased back on the restriction.
I've forgotten how beautiful this area is, I don't come this way very often, so it's great to be able to escape the city live and spend a few hours out in the country. The recent rain we had not long ago has really brought this area back to life, everything is so green and bursting with life. It was a great day to be outdoors today, plus it wasn't hot either, which is always welcome.

Out with GeoNayfee for the afternoon collecting some valuable target caches and a few as we passed by. We started at Wamuran head up to D’Aguilar and then down to Mt. Mee. It was a late start to the day but we still got a few in for the day. I was sitting at home when I got a call from GeoNayfee hey I’m going to do a few caches want to come along, how can I say no.
This was the final cache for the day and a fun one to do. I had spotted the unloved on this one and said I got time for this one lol. So we headed to the parking coordinates and went for a walk. Crossed the creek and then a bush bash then a climb over the barbwire fence. It was geonayfee who made the call and we were both supper happy thinking that he recent floods may have taken this one away. All in good condition and the log was quickly signed and we then made our way back out before we were spotted. So happy to get this one.
Thanks for placing the cache here for us all.

Had big day today chasing caches from one end of Brisbane to the other. Had lots of fun. TFTC Nett88 #733 D4
I was out caching with Selva Girls and Mr Curious Quest today, collecting smilies and clearing an area. Both my caching friends had already found this one, and chosen to climb through the long grass to do so. Never one to follow the crowd, I waded across in water up to my chest and then climbed up the bank to retrieve the cache. Lucky it was a hot day! Tftc and the swim Net88

Working backwards through the Terror's Creek series, this was the next stop. NyssaFlutterby had not done this one either, so we parked the car and both headed down, hoping there would be an easy way across the creek. Well there was (especially for some who had a rock-paved route hand laid out for them )....
But that was about all that was easy!
It seems the area has become quite overgrown since other cachers had done this one, especially if you don't take the option Fangsoki (or should that be Fangsoaky?!) took, and it was quite a challenge to plow through Lantana, barbed wire and other evil thorned plants. But having come this far, determination had to win out. And eventually persistence paid off and the cache was spied. Logbook slightly damp - tho perhaps not as much as the previous finder was, but certainly more than I was at least. Then it was time to fight the way back to the clearing and on to the next one.
Thanks for the cache Net88. This was certainly the most challenging of today's caches.

Out with 1MinnieMoo for a drive in the country to enjoy the views and create a few new smileys. Unfortunately our third partner in crime, wombles, couldn't make it today.
We enjoyed the stroll down to the creek and then 1MM made me a stone crossing so I didn't get my precious feet wet A bit of a bush bash and a barb wire fence later and our names were scribbled on the logbook. Nicely done 1MinnieMoo.

I parked up at the given parking co-ords for this one next.
I did wonder if the access was private property. But there was an absence of anyone about - and I did see the power poles on the strip of land as well. Bugger it. Let's go.
I motored toward GZ.. I could hear mowing going on in several directions.. thankfully not within eyesight. I found a little causeway. Hmmm.. 30m you say? I hopped over the causeway to keep dry shoes.. and into the bush. Hmmmm.. this is all overgrown.. .and its all overgrown over a fence about 10m out. I looked where GZ was and realised. Yeah, you're getting wet Fangsoki.
Back around. Removed phone and keys and into the water. I don't like going into creeks without shoes - so they can just take one for the team I carefully waded out.. and suddenly there was a drop and we were north of the equator. HOLY!
Resigned to my fate, I continued on.. along the bank and spotted the beast. Thankfully there was a step up. I had bought a working pen in Dayboro. But which pen do you think think I grabbed when I left the car? The dead pen I made a small hole next to the last finders names to prove I was there and returned the log to its home.
I did fall somewhat and got considerably wetter on the way back. Oh no. Don't make me get wet on this horrible warm spring day. Back to the bank, collected the phone and keys and sloshed back to the car.
Just as I got to the car, another car turned up at the shed next to the path. Nothing was said. As you all were.
I enjoyed the bit of a Challenge in this one. On account, have a favourite point. TFTC Net88

Another perfect warm Winter day for a morning drive around near Dayboro.
Not many muggles around today and a few more good safe hides.
A bush bash here to avoid wet feet, and a well secured cache located.

Today was another great Thursday Fun Day of caching in the company of barbbowman and Raynersinoz Today was the day that Raynersinoz wanted to try to complete the 25 Unique D/Ts in a Day Challenge, and of course barbbowman and Mrs Just a Trifle just had to join in for the fun
We managed to get up to all sorts of hijinks along the way on our adventure, and we found all but 1 of the caches on our list, plus a few extras that we came across while in the area.
Thank you Net88 for having placed this cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Another Thursday and another challenge - today I'm out with barbbowman and Mrs JustaTrifle to see if I can complete Fangsoki's 25 D/Ts in one day challenge. Let's see how I go...
Cache#5 and an adventure ensued. I had read past logs and the cache description (and had seen some photos taken the day of the cache placement) so I came prepared. Wet shoes and spare clothes were packed and off we went. Now we have had a bit of rain lately and I'm also vertically challenged, so for me that meant getting to the cache did not involve rock hopping, but rather creek wading (I'm glad it was the middle of summer and not the middle of winter, the water was freezing ). The girls shouted encouragement and gave lots of advice about where I should be heading and I soon had the much prized cache in my hand. Yay!!! A quick sign of the log, followed by a quick change of clothes and we were headed off to the next D/T challenge cache. TFTC Net88 and for bringing us to a really lovely spot (wish we had more time to spend here) - D/T 2.0/3.0 done

Out with wombles today and she made her way through the water to what we thought was gz. However we were sadly mistaken and by the looks of it we either needed a whipper snipper with us or we needed to swim. Either of those werent happening today so we will be back in the future. To be continued......
Found after a bit of creek hoping. (Clan-mess (aka mum) wasn't too happy that my Geobrother & I got wet shoes, but they will dry.
Log is quite soggy, but I was able to sign it.

I couldn't see where the property line was and felt a bit conspicuous. Can look next time I'm out this way with a diversionary buddy.

Tftc I was a bit concerned about walking pass the houses. As I said at the other cache on this road pity all the dairy cows are gone from this area. The log is damp and is a bit hard to remove and replace due to dampness. You may need a tool to get it out.
We headed off to Mount Mee to grab some smilies. This was our third one today.
Never followed that creek before.

Another interesting Terrors Creek hunt. Lovely spot, appreciate the care the locals are taking with the environment. TFTC.
Out and about Brisbane North to collect some more smileys and complete our 25 D/T Challenge with Scatsmadhouse and OrionJ.
Arriving at GZ we all stood and stared across the water for a minute......hmmm....I think we might just need to suck it up and brave the water.
Or.....take the less direct route and "walk the plank". Scats and OrionJ made light work of the timber debris and with a bit of a hop skip and jump were able to obtain the cache for signing.
With cameras at the ready, we waited for someone to fall on the return over but were greeted by great disssapointment!

This was not on my original plan for the day but, after running into Scattsmadhouse, djmccullagh and gmccul decided to come along for a look.
The first approach did not look to good with the grass and trees, so a more direct approach was considered but the water separating us from the cache was a problem, the bridge helped mostly, but still a little work to get into the right position. Soon enough we were there and the log soon signed.

Out adventuring in Dayboro and surrounding areas with the McCullough clan whilst they attempted to complete the 25 D/T challenge.
Dayboro didn't disappoint with great views, friendly cows and an amazing bakery .
We picked up OrionJ on our travels and he joined us for a little bit of caching .
This one looked just far enough away over the creek that there was no possible way anyone was getting to it without getting wet. Cameras were out ready to capture someone falling in. But alas MrScatts And OrionJ managed to stay dry. Even the kids managed to stay dry in spite of their best efforts.

A little stroll to this one. The recent rain meant there was a decent amount of water in the creek. It looks like this little waterway floods quite regularly.
A nice quick find here thanks. An interesting little reserve. [^]

In the midst of a nasty busy period at work, I took an afternoon off today to nab some smilies out this way. My primary goal today, well, apart from just getting outside and doing something enjoyable, is to trundle along this Terror creek (well, bits of it) in search of containers to the source.
A lovely little walk down to the creekside, a nice little hop skip and a jump, and then I was in a lovely little grove signing a log. Awesome spot, great hide. A fav point indeed.
Thanks for placing this cache, Net88. Found in good condition.

Today, Seffnjarah, Swellerfungus and I chased a few higher terrain and older caches in this area. After a big tree climbing FTF at Camp Mountain, we celebrated with a feed at the Dayboro bakery and then drove up Mt Mee.
We managed to drive to within 15 metres of this cache. There was much debate about the best way to attack it - through the water, or circling around (beware the barbwire). Seff opted for the later and made the find exactly where we predicted. Many thanks Net88

After a tree climb this morning Swellerfungus, Crookedpete and I noticed that there was a couple of older caches not that far away so we headed out for a look. After finding one of them we went looking for some other interesting caches in the area. Once again today I had to chauffer drive my fellow passengers as close as possible to GZ. Thankfully the recently mowed grass mean we could safely drive down to the cause way and a bit of adventuring through long grass and a wire fence had me at GZ where the cache was soon found. TFTC
An interesting spot for a cache, and well placed. We used our heads and got as close as possible on four wheels before heading off track. No need for wet feet today thanks to the JefApp.
Our second find for the day. We had seen a car parked near the parking co-ords and as we got out we met a fellow cacher returning from the GZ . Greetings Dick! He had not found it so we decided to all go together and see if we could find it. We spotted a likely spot and I was ready to get my feet wet, however, I eyed off another spot duly scrambled up and around. We were right where we thought it was going to be and I had the cache in hand. Log signed and I made the precarious walk around back to the others. TFTC Net88
Back in the area today, NurseyJulie and I next made our way to this one. There was another car at the parking coords, so we thought it might have been another cacher. We soon met one half of the team who was on his way back from GZ. We stopped for a chat and found that he hadnt found the cache. We offered for him to come back to GZ with us. There, NurseyJulie and I quickly spotted where we thought the cache might be. Hmmmm....how to get there??? She was prepared to get her feet wet, but spotted another way. Off she went. I watched as she used her mountain goat skills to reach the cache. She added all our names to the log and then made her way back to our side of the creek. TFTC
Headed towards GZ and thought I was going through someone's garden. Arrived at the creek and GPS pointed me towards a likely spot, managed to step over the creek and come in from the rear only to find no cache. Looked at GPS again and thought 'no way at my age am I going to get over there' so headed back to Mitsi feeling deflated. As luck would have it, two geocachers came wandering towards me and we introduced ourselves - nice to meet you NurseyJulie and Selva Girls. We all returned to GZ to have another look and I pointed out where I thought it would be and NurseyJulie was quick off the mark and retrieved the cache. Thanks girls for your help. TFTC Net88
Our final find in the Terrors Creek series. A bit slow off the mark as I hadn't looked for caches for a while, eve though we would consider this series to be in our own backyard.
Thanks for the interesting tour of old Terrors Creek Net88 - geo-hound loved the nice cool water on a hot morning's caching

Brother Colin and I are heading up Mt Beerwah today, but we went via Dayboro just to collect this series of caches.
Ahhh, this is a pretty spot. A lovely walk over to GZ, then BC went to fetch I reckon a comfy chair and a book would be the best thing here. TFTC, Net88.

But, of course you can not just drive past a cache.
And guess who got TOLD to 'fetch' [?] Off with the boots and waded across.
Will we get to Mt Beerwah with a few more detours [?]

Onto the third of the series with Net88 and Captain Terror. We've had so much fun so far and we were excited to see what else was in store, specially since Net88 had said there was something extra special in store for us to be able to sign this one off.
When we reached GZ, well as close to GZ as we were going to get without getting wet, Net88 kindly pointed out where we had to go. Instantly we (well, more me) volunteered Captain Terror to go across to grab it as it would be more of a wade for him and a bit of a swim for me, haha.
It didn't take him that long to get across as it was only about knee high for him, and then it was signing time, and he was on his way back.
Afterwards we had fun in the water nearby, this time it wasn't nearly as deep. Was really good since it was so hot.

Many times I've been to Dayboro and I always enjoy it. So when Net88 put her new series out here, I was keen to grab them. She wanted to check up on them anyway and Sezzz was happy to come along for the trip, so that was our Labour Day sorted out. What else do you do with a public holiday?
Net had mentioned that this one was a bit more 'adventurous' than others so I was intrigued what she'd done here. At least she highlighted the best way to get there and the ideal parking spot. So with the car left behind, we made our way down to Terrors Creek.
This really was a beautiful little spot that I doubt many visit. Also, as we got close, the 'extra adventure' became quite apparent. net suggested there was a dry and a wet way to go. I have aquaphobia but could see skirting around was more effort than simply taking off my shoes.
And across I went, fish scattering, sand billowing with each step and about 5 seconds later I was hoisting myself up and out. A little bit of spiderman-ing had me right at the geocache which I'd spotted. I'd at least been handed a pen to come across with so signed the logbook, then replaced all as found. The ladies did look a bit humorous standing there next to the fail bridge.
More wet feet, shoes back on and we spent quite a while here, just enjoying the serenity. And as always, I skipped some stones. It's just par for the course. An absolute winner of a spot and a hide I appreciated. Thanks for bringing me here, Net88

More wet feet, shoes back on and we spent quite a while here, just enjoying the serenity. And as always, I skipped some stones. It's just par for the course. An absolute winner of a spot and a hide I appreciated. Thanks for bringing me here, Net88
After we drove as far as we could down the green easement towards the creek, we read the hint and decided to cross the creek at the concrete. Then we had to negotiate the grass, weeds, barbed wire and trees. Mrs RoddyC was on hands an knees wombat style under the branches to retrieve the cache. All signed and duly returned.
Back on the green grass, we decided to stop and have our picnic lunch. As we were finishing, the owner of the adjacent property came down to water the recently planted trees with his niece from Minden, We chatted about how he had cleared the creek banks of lantana and other weeds and had replanted native trees and grasses. We have him to thank for the beautification of the area (at his own expense!). (Otherwise the cache might not exist here.) Well done!
Found at 12.00pm on 3rd October 2015. TFTC.

Headed to this cache next and parked near the creek.
We wandered over and Mrs RoddyC came up with the cache.
Signed the log and returned to hide.
We had a lovely picnic by this creek sitting in the shade.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Net88 All good with this cache

With this great series published during the afternoon while I was at work, a cunning plan was hatched for Mrs Slow Puncture and I to head out early this morning and try to grab the series.
Next up was this one. We parked at the posted coords and after wandering down noticed car tracks in the grass all the way down to the creek, so we assumed we had been beaten here despite no logs (which we had).
The resident here was out with his boisterous labradoodle, and after a quick wave we headed off, but the dog preferred our company to its owner, and followed us the whole time we were here.
We found the namesake, and chose to take the dry route, which involves some barbed wire, but once at GZ it was an easy find.
This find brings our total to 1733 smilies, thanks Net88 for placing and maintaining this cache for us and others to find.

Thursday. Mrs Slow Puncture joined Mr Orange Crew on an early morning jaunt to snag some recently-released caches up the bush...
We parked on the road, and we saw wet tracks into the grass, we made our way down and found a farmer and his dog. Pooch ditched is master and came with us while we made the find. On the way back the dog ignored his master and came with us, even trying to get in Kieran's car Maybe he's not getting enough love.
This was the 3rd of 6 caches found on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]Net88[/Blue], for showing us this place.

**FTF** Joint FTF with Gullivers Travels54. Number 3 on our list for the night and Mr Gt54 took the best way in here, I took the old walkway and balanced a floating log. Nice spot out here, having fun and our finds continue. Tftc

Joint FTF with Cantcacheous 2014 find #3633
This one was a bit tricky as it required a long walk and a creek crossing and a fence jump, well we drove the long walk and stayed dry all the way to GZ ,for a quick find just before midnight TFTC
