Quick stop in while having lunch today....log is full as previous logs indicate. I found a teeny spot to jot my log. Found in a reservoir of h20, thankfully it was a waterproof log, tftc
Water ingress is an issue here. No o ring. But still able to get BRC 19/6 in green on the log.
Cheers

While my wife and daughter were off shopping for stuff they probably didn't want but were going to buy anyway, I was left to my own devices. I knew that I could probably cache all afternoon and they would only realise I was gone when the shops closed. I had only grabbed one coffee in the morning so I knew I had to make the time count.
Without a plan I sat in my car and looked at all the caches nearby with a term of endearment. This one was my next stop and so I asked Google to show me the way. Seeing I have an iPhone, Google didn't respond. I'm used to whatever crazy device that sits on the kitchen bench that the kids are always talking to.
I hear all kinds of crazy questions being asked like:
"Hey Google, how do I get out of doing any housework?"
"Hey Google, what does the colour purple taste like?"
"Hey Google, how do I make toast?"
"Hey Google, why is my dad so good looking?"

Find while on a morning walk in the area. Was a bit difficult to open and the logs full, but managed to squeeze my name on.......just. Log a little damp too. TFTC!
It was near the park, we have always liked this park. There isn’t much space left to write on the paper.
Today, the geograndies accompanied stortigirls and I on our caching adventures. Stortigirls had found the cache and signed the log almost before the little ones were out of the car! TFTC
A quick park and grab in the heat here today. The poor cache was found bobbing around in the water, so I made a "raft" for it before replacing it, in an attempt to keep it a little drier. Tftc dawesy321
We found this one tucked away, but sitting in a swimming pool of water. We retrieved the outer container, and then put our hand back in to find the rest of it.
The log was a little difficult to sign, but we managed to try and scroll our name there. (it pays to have a pen that can write on wet paper.)
A great big beetle near gz. Photo attached!
Thanks

It was indeed a quick stop
Parked in the street opposite and walked over. Within two minutes, cache was in hand.
I signed log while sitting on the nearby seat.
Many Thanks dawesy321 for the placement and maintenance of this cache.

Found it! Needs maintenance. I grabbed it and quickly dropped it back as the bottom had fallen off and was full of ants.
I’ll return another time to sign the log.

Been living in this area for ten years. Never knew this park was here.
Nice easy find.
Thanks

I am down from Toowoomba for a few days.
Today is day 3 of caching and again, I am out and about with IolantheK. [^]
We had a few on our hit list for today. [^]
We soon found this cache, signed our names and returned it to where we found it. [^]
Now onto the next cache.
Thanks for the cache.

Out and about again with Brother Colin.
Today we headed out to Seven Hills, as that's where we both had caches to gather. I got to this one first but had to get BC to do the fetching. TFTC, dawesy321.

A day out South of the river was planned for today, and despite the wet weather and muddy puddly ground, we decided to go for it anyway and made the most of things. After all, any day caching beats a day at work and what's a little water, we ain't made of sugar .
Unfortunately the recent rains have turned this cache quite literally into a submarine. Log was still in OK shape though. Quick sign before moving along.

I could reach it but I had to get my 6yr old to climb to see it. Thanks everyone
Found this one on a nice morning run! Is it bad I've started planning my running routes around geocaches?
I broke my losing streak with this one! So T4TC!
The pictures from previous finds were quite helpful. Recommend a pencil or ballpoint over a felt tip like mine. I've taken a pic of the signed log of our rubs off. Some muggles in the area but not too many.
Just for the CO, the bottom part of the housing for the cache is missing. I found it and then had to go back to feel for the log. The waterproof log is brilliant as everything was a bit soggy with all the recent rain!

After a day stuck at home while on holiday it was time to grab a cache or two. Headed out with hubby and brother in law and niece in tow. We found one that helped me out for a challenge cache but was too far from the path for anyone but me to see the hide. So we choose another more accessible one before heading home.
This was a straight forward find. The hide was full of water and the log wet so lucky it wasn't normal paper. Sorry I put the wrong date on the log.
Thanks for the cache.

Sneaky hide - I walked right by iy at first expecting it to be elsewhere. Doh! Others have commented on the state of the cache in the wet. O ring is missing.
Log signed and replaced at 11:30 am on 20 October 2017. TFTC, dawesy321

Yes this was quick, but at this time of day had to wait till no one was watching to retrieve and then the same to return it so took a while. Tftc Co :^)
Was a fair quick stop even though I had to dry the little fellow thoroughly. It was full of water and I had to ditch the bag which it didn't really need. Good choice of log as I think it would go for a swim whenever there was a good drop of rain. TFTC
Our first ever geocache, my son found it by accident n didn't realise what it was at first.
We found this sitting in water also, so both containers were filled with liquid. Thankfully it's a waterproof log, but we still had to wipe it down before writing on it (so bear this in mind when BYOP). Sneaky Squirrels
Out for a few hours before work again. Getting the numbers of for a milestone hike in a few days.
Nice and quiet around here in the middle of the afternoon. The log is still nice and dry despite the cache sitting in water.

Give us this day our daily geocache
Well I tried to make this one a quick stop, and it should have been, but just as I had removed the cache container from its hiding spot a muggle appeared out of nowhere as they do! And I was forced to retreat a short distance with the cache in hand, as the muggle was watching me intently (I must have looked a bit dodgy) So anyhow, while waiting for a bus to come and remove the muggle I extracted the log sheet which I had expected to be quite wet, but surprisingly although outer container had been sitting in water. The inner container contents was quite dry [^] and dutifully signed and dated it.
The suspicious muggle left on the next bus, and I quickly replaced the cache as I'd found it. All is ready for next visiting geocacher to come and find it for themselves
Thanks for the cache dawesy321

We finally were able to do some much needed geocaching due to not having to work today so that we did.
This cache made myself and my better half giggle because of the positioning and where the hide was haha. TFTC!
Find #767

TFTC... 20/3/17. Tough Mothers found it submerged. Write on wet log. Seal on container has perished. Not really where expected.
Out with FJT to find a cache or two we parked the car in a street very close to the cache. a quick find but the log was a little wet dried it on a tissue then the pen did it's job tftc
We found this late this afternoon. What a lovely little park in the middle of a busy suburb. Loved the Jacaranda tree, which I noticed before realising that the cache was actually located here. Parked in a back street and walked through the path. Found it where we first thought...it was swimming after the rain but dry on the inside. Nice work on the cache container.
I decided not to make this a quick stop because it was peak hour. Instead, I did a blocky and found a lovely path that led me past the magpie warning sign into the park.
An inquisitive magpie did check me out but it was a gentle encounter so I began my search. My phone app was on its own journey - not sure what's going on there. I gave up on the compass and decided the cache title would be my guide. Sure enough, there it was.
Thanks, dawesy321. I signed the log and popped it back. All's well here.

Drove by on the way to breakfast and replaced the bison tube that went missing. Try your best not to lose the tube please
The roads around here are pretty busy during afternoon peak hour. I parked on the side road and walked back for a quick find.
I can see that the log will keep getting wet in this type of hide. It really needs something a bit more waterproof.
TFTC.

A quick stop at the shop for some mushies to go with my homemade mozzarella and this cache was nearby. Often wondered why there wasn't a cache here? Definitely used to be GM62 territory.
This is such a busy road but a break in the traffic and a seat to sit and log the find. A wet scrap of paper removed as it was jammed into the container but was outside the baggie and probably the reason the plastic bag is wet on the outside. Replaced in its hidey hole.
The new logbook is clean and dry
TFTC dawesy321!

Found this afternoon after work. I was a quick stop and no muggles any where. Signed log and put new log book in and in plastic bag. Tftc
