Today I went sightseeing in the city.I looked for a cache here and there.Thank you for the cacheTeam sissifalke
After a quick search, we found this cache and could sign the logbook.TFTC! Greetings from Germany 6Finken
Last Saturday I couldn't find this one, so when CO posted this week that it had in fact gone missing and had been replaced I made my way back this Saturday. Thankfully a quick find today. TFTC.
Got it! We came back after no joy Sunday. Thanks for doing maintenance so quick. TFTC
Following a couple of folk mentioning they couldn't find it I assumed it was gone as it's not a difficult find. Called by today and sadly someone has taken it. I'll try once more with a different type of cache and hope it lasts.
Today I visited this can again for our team to make dad proud.Thank you for the can. Bigfours
I am down under for the very first time. Visiting Australia has always been a dream of mine, and I cannot believe it has come true. Australia's nature and wildlife really captivated me. Over three weeks, I saw many wonderful beaches, sunsets, animals such as , and I found great geocaches. My tour guide was mostly geocaching, and through it, I discovered many beautiful places I wouldnt have seen without our great hobby. I mainly stayed in Brisbane but also visited other gorgeous places such as Noosa Heads and Springbrook. I spent a few days on the Gold Coast and Moreton Island, and I went to New South Wales to have visited a second state in Australia. During my stay, the winter and early spring in Queensland were very warm, the sun shone every single day, and I did not see a single drop of rain. My time down under was so beautiful and unforgettable. Australia is such a stunning country! A few days ago, I arrived in Brisbane and today I explored the city again. I really like this city and I discovered beautiful places. I also looked for many geocaches like this one. At GZ I found the cache easily. After signing the log I put the container back as found. Thank you for this geocache says Mr. J. Cacher from the other side of the world
I arrived in Brisbane, from New Zealand, last Tuesday night, for a couple of weeks work. During my time here I hope to find several geocaches, but for many reasons none was more important to me to find than GC8E - Queens land. I always enjoy the old ones. So, after a morning of effort to 'fuel' up the car I had, I headed out to find that and have a walk around. Then on my way home, I stopped for a few more, like this one.Actually I came this way for another nearby cache, but since I was here I went for a walk down by the river for another couple (just one more). I had to wait for a break in the stream of walkers and runners along the path, but once the area was clear it was only a short search before the cache was in hand.---Thanks to TrickyT for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
Brisbane Day 2: On The Other Side of the RiverTodays schedule was jammed packed with things to do, and of particular interest were the caches in South Brisbane, and U of QLD at Saint Lucia (which I learnt was pronounced as Lu-chee-ia and not Lu-see-ia) on the ferry. It was also river cruise day, making maximum use of the 50 cent fare trial period, and hopping on and off at all the various stops on the Central Brisbane area. Ended off the day at Kangaroo Point, and crossed the Story Bridge back into the CBF to end the day. Walked 37.5k steps today over 26.5 km, making for a very crazy day of geocaching. Thanks for all the caches across Brisbane - they all made my day in some way or another. This is the specific log for this cache: Final physical cache of the day, and this one was found in the cover of darkness. I was well informed about where not to look, but even then, I made a few wrong guesses before taking the dive and extracting the cleverly placed cache. Nice work here, and so TFTC
I have to admit that it took me longer than it should have to locate the cache but I eventually got there. I was so close but just missed it by that much. The log was signed and the cache returned as found. TFTC
Hard find because I was trying to see if one of the corals would move on the statue but the container was completely different! Glad that I didnt have to dive in and the cache was still on the statue after all. TFTC pea555
Last day in Brisbane for me, hopefully Ill get to come back some other time. So, grab a few last day caches before going to Melbourne.TFTC
Yay another find while exploring the area at night and not a muggle in sight. Visiting from Aotearoa TFTC.
Lovely views and nice sunny day TftcPlenty of muggles around so needed to time correctly
After freeking myself out by looking too low. Looked again shoulder height and found the cache. Signed rewound replaced and left. TFTC
After looking around the GZ for about 30 minutes, and looking at all logs and hints, want able to find it
We come for a little walk and some caches to Kangaroo Point. After a lot of rain this was the last one for today. It's a really nice walk along the river.TFTC geovi
A lovely few days spent in Sunny QLD - here for a work trip but extended it and a mini-getaway it was. TFTC
After parkrun this morning, the group of us headed around the valley the around the west to find a few caches and check out the cool spots. A quick find here today on our way past, cache is all goodI headed to Brisbane for a few days with Courtneyrose_ to check out the attractions and to catch up with Davidwazza and Jesswrigley, a nice few days away in QLD finding caches along the way here and there. Thanks for the cache
Lovely breeze by the river and a nice walk. I was in the area to collect a cache with attributes falling rocks for the February challenge so I looked around to see what else I could find whilst I was here as there was still time on the parking! TfTC
Quick and easy hide, a beautiful part of the river so explore!! Perfect for a morning cycle ride. TFTC!!
After realising the closest parking spot was three sides of the square, we walked down and around to a beautiful spot. A few passing muggles on a Sunday night, but a reasonably quick find once at GZ.Cheers!
Fun find in a pretty spot! I live on the other side of the water, so it's lovely to see Brisbane from here. Found with geobrother Dicky V who is visiting from Sydney.
Found with Brissy Cat and met some Americans who were staying in Brisbane and came to find a couple of caches.
We got a little sidetracked, but we found the right spot! We happened to run into some other catchers at this spot as well! So hello to them and happy caching!
Elina_maree and I headed to Kangaroo Point this afternoon. We found a nearby carpark and navigated the walkways down to the river. As we approached the GZ we noticed a suspicious looking couple and they turned out to be visiting geocachers. They showed us where the cache was and we had a chat before going off in different directions. Thanks for the cache TrickyT! This is a beautiful spot along the river even on a grey, rainy day.
TrickyT I found your cache Coral Cay on 12/12/2023, 11:15am. This is my find 6273 and find # 2 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found, returning after dark did the trick. Sat there for 15 min waiting for a muggle family taking photos to move on. Got fed up and left and came back.
Called by and can confirm cache is still snug in its hide. Changed log to one that is easier to remove.
Find 12 of 22 on a walking day. Almost 20km of pavements pounded and 46 Ad Lab locations ticked off, along with some well-placed stealth grabs.
Mrs O dived in for the find.

Had to fashion an extraction tool from some natural equipment nearby, easy find on a beautiful day. Tftc!
Apologies for the late log here (10.01.24) but I've had a busy time since getting back to the UK.My instincts took me straight to this cache on a long day of walking around Brizo. Which was nice. Both. Yes.TNLN-TFTC!SP (UK) on an epic trek right around the world.
Visitor from the Great White North, enjoying the lovely “winter” weather and crisp morning. Getting to GZ made it obvious where I needed to search and came across it. Funny enough it took longer to get the log out of the cache then finding the cache itself. TFTC as always.
Arrived back in Australia and went for a wander to find some caches. This one is very clever. Love that design.

Cache quickly found but had to wait for a muggle talking on the phone to leave before I could replace. What a fabulous day for walking around Kangaroo Point. TFTC TrickyT
Just flew into Brisbane today and instantly loaded up the app while strolling around this beautiful city. TFTC!
Out on the bikes today cycling up and down the river and all around Kangaroo Point. I love the amount of artwork they have placed in the area and the public accessibility. With the clue, this was a nice quick find. Thanks TrickyT
Lovely and very slow walk along the river today while we enjoy a Luxury Escapes getaway. I know there are caches all along here and there are literally squillions around where we are staying but alas I no longer have the energy to cache like I used to (terminal illness getting in the way of my hobby - how rude!). This one was just near where I needed a little rest and looked and knew immediately that someone had surely placed a cache here and sure enough…

Some stealth required as it was a busy Saturday morning. Enjoying my foray to the south side of the river on the ebike. THTC

A new but different cache in place . Please ensure it goes back where you found it.
We came upon the structure the other day and saw the cache, next day returned with the pen and it was gone. Double checked today and still no sign of it.
We were in Brisbane for a stroll around, at places where we hadn't been very often.
This cache was located, and the log signed.

Out for a run enjoying the sunlight and doing some caching. First stop after crossing the bridge. TFTC!
I’m in town for magic round and thought we’d do some caching in between games.
An early start to our Sunday morning, we managed a few finds before the footy.
