After making our way back to town after doing some caches out in the bush this one was a quick find with accurate coordinates and a useful hint. Many more caching road trips are on our bucket list but hopefully we've got plenty of time yet! TFTC

20-Apr-23
Day 15 of our loop through Vic and SA then home.

Today we are on the move from Tailem Bend to Loxton. fitzy_1965, albida33 & I headed out early to get some of the Wandering Heroes before we had to leave the caravan park.

Our aim was to collect anything of interest along the way before we set up camp at Loxton. We stopped at Karoona, Borrika & Alawoona. Signed as MAF or FAM to save room.

All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

20-Apr-23
Southern Autumn adventure Day 16. Post Mega South East SA trip Day 10. Having mostly finished around Tailem Bend, we were traveling to Loxton today. Before we left we went out and did a bit of the Wandering Heroes trail, just so we did not get to Loxton too early. That was not really a problem, with plenty of single caches and a few interesting ones to be found along the way at Karoonda, Borrika and Alawoona. Today's group is Fitzy_195, MinnieK and albida33 and logs were signed F.A.M. or similar.

Thanks for the cache LíB

31,293. Found with minniek and albida33 (signing either as FAM or MAF to save room and just for fun) during another great day of caching in South Australia).

Rutherglen Mega and South Australia Trip Day 15. Today we headed out early to grab some more of the Wandering Heroes series before checking out of the camp ground and heading up to Loxton for the next part of our caching holiday. It was yet another great fun day of caching. This was the next find of the day, and a quick find once at GZ. Signed, replaced, and then we headed off to the next one on the list.

Thanks 3LG !!

JTreeTrack2 and Dromaniax decided that the long weekend represented a perfect opportunity to cache South Australia. After work was over for the day, it was a case of packing the fill-in geomobile, the Black Squid and hitting the road Jack. We won't be back until we have found around 500 caches.

We have prepared well for the weekend with plenty of target caches in our sights. We are looking for old, large, and virtual caches and all the while intending to increase our average D and T for finds.

Most of our logs will be generic, as there will be many of them.

We thank all cache owners for their time and effort in creating caches for our entertainment. Unless otherwise specified, we found all caches in great condition.

Thank you from Dromaniax and JTreeTrack2.

Day twenty of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
Lovely weather today and the first day in Tailem Bend.
We spent the morning in Sherlock, lunch in Tailem Bend, then completed the armpit series and a few odd caches later in the afternoon.

Don't have enough room in the camper for a bucket, hence no bucket list.
Good to play with your buckets though.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19503. Day 20 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. Sadly, we have now left the Barossa Valley and have made our way to Tailem Bend, making our way home slowly to Victoria. Today we had a full day of caching - a visit to Sherlock for some detective work - hard work and a lot of walking in such blustery conditions. Back to TB for lunch at the wonderful bakery and then via a chance discovery we did the nice little Armpit Series and a few others before calling if quits for the day.

I don't have a bucket list, never have had ,so I am pretty boring. Found this large container and added our name to the book.

Thanks LíB

After a big weekend attending the 2022 JLWE in Clare.

It was time to head home grabbing the odd cache as I go, just seeing if I could hit a milestone before the SA/Vic boarder.

Milestone achieved but i could not pass up a LARGE cache... quick grab b4 hitting the road for VIC.

We are heading into Adelaide to catch a plane to Perth to visit some sick elderly friends, we have realised that are flight doesn't leave at 7.30am but rather 7.30 in the evening which suddenly gave us 12 hours more caching which we were quite happy to use and we were very happy that we hadn't had the times the other way around.

I suppose we all have bucket lists, everywhere year that goes by we get closer to coming to a place like this. We have been fortunate enough to cross quite a few things off our bucket list but at the same time we keep adding new things to it.
We have been luck enough to do extensive travel around Australia on a lot of outback tracks and by comparison simple to some of the roads we still really want to cross the Simpson Desert so we will make that number one on our list.

We were here early morning with nobody else around so the great sized cache with a lot more swaps than we are used to seeing these days was located where the GPSr said and the log book now contains our name. We were very happy to walk back through the gate.

Thanks 3LG for the cache.

Thanks Lib for the cache, and a nice one at that. I turned up the wrong road first, and then realised I was in the wrong spot. I went back to the cem gate and trotted in to make the find. I have reworked my list many times, and since caching has entered my life, lots of things have changed, including me. Thanks for bringing me here.

After driving DPA down to, but not around, The Bend I set about finding what I could find in the surrounding area. Firstly it was off to Sherlock to finish off, again, The Great Detective series. Then north to Karoonda for the AdLab there and all Karoonda physical caches. Then down to Tailem Bend to fill in time until DPA needed picking up. Ended the day with the AdLab, 32 physical caches and no DNF's.
Thanks to LíB for putting out this cache for me to find

Another flying trip to Adelaide and an opportunity to spend a day out caching with Dr Owl and JJ52 was too good to give up given the Sherlock series was to be the target of the day. Sherlock is now clear of unfound caches for me and we got a few others here and there. Another fun day was had with loads of varied discussion and lots of laughs.

It's nice to find a cache without rocks (reference my caching experience in and around Alice Springs).

Thanks for the cache Lib.

Sushilord was back in town for the weekend, so Owl gathered JJ52 and took him for a caching trip. This one was the first of the day and was supposed to clean out Tailem Bend for the group, but Owl has spotted another green box there. Next time!

05-Sep-20
A caching day had been organised with Doctor Owl and sushilord with our target being to get to Sherlock to find the series that I had been wanting to do for ages. [^]
We had a great day getting all the Sherlock caches with a few others along the way on a really nice day for caching. Big Grin

This was our first and I asked if we could come and get this one as I seem to miss it every time I am down this way and of course it is always great to find a bucket out in the bush. A quick easy find and I have now got a smilie here and don't have to worry about this one any more. Wink

Thanks for the cache LíB. Smile

Mr Tardis was on his way to an event in Tailem Bend this evening, and stopped by here for a quick cache.

No problems finding a large sized cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?

Signed the log. Thanks for the cache LíB.

hope to be a long time before i get to be in one of these but with the GPS saying "You have reached your final destination" it's feel that good!

A quick search soon had the cache signed and replaced.

This was the Mega trip that started out as a simple trip to St Arnaud for just the Mega and turned into a mega road trip starting with myself and GooseandEgg flying into Adelaide to collect a rental 4WD so we could drive an indirect route to St Arnaud and then on to Melbourne so we could fly home again.

The Goose had put a lot of planning into the trip so we could both complete or get close to completing our D/T grids, collect a number of good interesting caches and cache types we didn't have many off.

For me this was the best organised Mega I have been to, the stand out was how the committee had managed to get the whole St Arnaud community to welcome us all to the area, just about everyone we meet knew what we were there for and I had no awkward moments explaining what Geocaching was.

Found on 13/11/2019 at 4:59:00 PM

Another quick stop as we make our way east, a lot slower than we had planned. Our dinner with Tassie Trekkers in Kaniva is looking unlikely!
Thanks for a nice large cache LíB

When planning the St Arnaud mega trip I was keen to incorporate some missing D/T’s from my grid. Stainless steel rat suggested flying to Adelaide ‘on the way’ and driving across so a route was planned and a fun week of caching began. I cherry picked in my planning so as not to run out of time for the ones I wanted, and we added a few on the day if there was time. We met up with various teams along the way including a planned rendezvous with Tassie Trekkers in Kaniva for a fun days caching. I ended up with around five hundred finds (including labs) for the week, and still had plenty of time for socializing along the way. It was great to catch up with some old friends and of course make new ones.
Special thanks to the St Arnaud mega committee for a great weekend.

Found at 2:54 PM GAFF1.
Packed up from the Leasingham CP in the rain and then it was quite muddy getting out - it rained quite heavily non stop all night. Heading for Millicent for a couple of days, but stopped overnight just out of Tailem Bend as we are quite tired and had a big night with TheKellyGang at our camp.
Our bucket list is more about travel, so hard to put something in the "bucket" - although we really want to go to Sardinia, Malta, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, ..... Red Face
Thanks LíB

Hi there 3LG.

We found your cache **"3LGs Bucket List, Before We Arrive Here."** at 12:06:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 21663).

We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.

We found 10 caches today & DNF'd 1. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels. Thanks also for placing a large cache container here. It made us feel really glad to find a large, kid friendly cache (with swaps) here. SmileSmile

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

Today I headed east from Adelaide, into Victoria, on my way to Tasmania. The plan is to take a week to get to Melbourne to catch the ferry, travelling whichever route takes my fancy on the day, finding a few selected caches along the way and rolling out the swag somewhere each night.

It was a good day with 17 finds, including traditionals, multis and mystery caches and even a first to find! And I visited some interesting little towns and places along the way.

I made a slight detour to find this large container as I was passing this way this morning. The cache was a quick find and the container and contents are in good condition.

Thanks 3LG for the cache.

18-Mar-19
We were heading out of Palmer today and just picked out a couple of caches on our way to our next destination with ilook4geo.
After finding some of the Wandering Heroes series we headed back to camp and found this 3LG cache on the way. No problems with either the container or any of the contents. Many thanks go to 3LG for this cache placement. Love these large size buckets.

Moving on today and still caching with goingplaces2. Found quite a lot for the day and signed each log. This was the last cache for the day and was an easy find. All was put back into place before we moved on. TFTC.

A quick detour out of tailem bend to get this one, a nice and easy find without any issue.

Another great day out caching with david wazza, as usual the plan always seems to change from the original. We had planned to complete the OTD my series s well s the geopets but after completing the OTD series we were starving and decided to change the plan after having a bit of tucker in tailem bend. We headed down to Malinong to get the 4 caches in the area. After that we headed back to get 2 multis in murray bridge and add some munzee time in for a laugh. Overall a great day with a total of 45 finds and a Did not find.

Thanks for the cache.

TFTC. We are parked up at the nearby football oval for a few days. We had decided to have any easy day and just complete the local caches. This was the first for the day and a nice large one at that.

10-Mar-19
Today, [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) and I headed for Murray Bridge and Tailem Bend areas, and we targeted a few multi-caches and the OTD May series. Once those were completed and lunch was had, we then went further afield towards Malinong and south for a few out-of-the-way caches, before returning to Murray Bridge and heading home. Six multi-caches completed today for the month multi-cache challenge and 48 caches found (excluding a challenge cache not yet completed).

One of my bucket list items was to complete this bucket list traditional cache. Razz
Found with contents and container all good. This was a rare cache that [@gridge98](http://coord.info/PRGKDMY) hadn't found, so we made sure to get this off our shared lists, thanks 3LG.

*6 Jan 2019, Found @ 4:52 pm, Find # 8709.*

Out and about on a road trip to Adelaide, I was particularly targeting Wherigo and letterbox caches but there are a lot of other interesting caches to be found, this being one of them.
As this is a large cache it was high on the list as well so a detour was made to GZ, the cache was found quickly and the log was signed.

**Thanks to 3LG for placing this cache.**

Thanks for the large cache as I am chasing them for a challenge cache in Victoria
Cache and contents in good condition, but the mozzies here were ferocious.
Nevertheless you still get another favourite point for placing a large one for Muggle Hubby and me to find on our way to Bordertown today

Off on our holidays, traveling from Adelaide to Nullarbor, Broken Hill, Mildura and the Mallee Region.
Chasing a few Caches, Earthcache's, Virtual's & Multi's along the way, this was one of the caches we found.
Taking a few TB's along the route and placing a Path Tag or two as we discover the Yellow Smiley Faces!
The question is, did we find it worthy of a favourite point?
We thank the CO for bringing us to this place in beautiful Australia.

This has to be one of the largest caches we have discovered!
Found on a Saturday drive from the suburbs. It has been a few years since we explored this area, thanks for another reason to visit!

It was during the last week that Any Mules of the Disasters of Wayne variety suggested a day of caching down past Tailem Bend. The plan was to attack the ROTF series and then caches around Meningie and Tailem Bend if time allowed. With Moneydork and E.B. joining us, we cached under the name ‘Disasters of Wayne', or DOW for short with caches being signed under that name for the ROTF series. We made good progress with the series, completing it much faster than I expected. With Moneydork not having any more caches to find in the area (I recall he now had less that 2,000 to find for the whole of South Australia) he left us to head home. The rest of us kept going in the pursuit of more finds getting some fun finds that were definitely worth a few favourite points. As the sun set in the sky, K.B. decided to call it a day and headed back to her accommodation, with Any Mules and myself powering on. It wasn’t that much later that we too decided that we had had enough and decided to make our way home, well we made a few stops for caches on the way back but what do you expect. And enjoyable day was had with a massive find count as a reward.

We were wondering wy one would have a bucket list here... but then read the cache again and it made more sense.
Thanks 3LG for the cache.

Found while out on a Sunday caching spree with Shonky and Uni. We started in Meningie on the ROTF Pope power trail and then went on to caches from Sherlock to Tailem Bend and beyond, to bring the find count over 300. Not sure a cemetery is a location on my bucket list, either before OR afterWink
