Doing some cache maintenance around town. Checked this due to previous DNF and it is gone. Won't be replacing.
I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #510.
Aha, so that is why that odd onramp is here!
Car racing is not my thing, but this series of caches certainly give an interesting historical and anthropological insight. Thank you for that.
Thank you for placing these caches

1625: Found as we headed home after spending time with friends. First day of streak challenge so nice to pick one up out of town... thanks UNCLE interesting cache info and sights across south Dunedin
Stopped by on our way back to our accommodation to grab this. Last one for the night. TFTC
As we drove the Circuit back from dinner to accommodation, we thought we'd pick up one last one. Took a few minutes, but all good.
Our last for the evening. Been a big day caching in the drizzle. Took us a little bit to find but got it in the end. TFTC
I have found a similar hide before but it still took me awhile to locate!

Today we made a trip in Dunedin, visiting some museums, the railway station and the city and some other sightseeing locations which we had on our plan. On this tour we searched, found and logged a lot of caches, too. The weather was between cold in the morning until cold in the afternoon, sometimes interrupted by little rain. Almost no muggels observed us as they had other things to do than observing harmless geocachers. The reason: all shops were open - at least until 5pm.
Thanks to U.N.C.L.E. for showing us this location and for the fun we had at Dunedin Street Circuit 1989-2007 (Otago). The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
For the topic of this cache, where we are also fans of, this cache receives a FP.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

I chose this stormy day to visit some of the oldest Caches in New Zealand. At noon time I started to drive to Mount Cargill and later in the afternoon to Flagstaff Hill. After that I did some more Caches down in Dunedin. Even if the weather was not the best I enjoyed so many good Caches out in nature!
Took me longer than it should have...
Thanks for hiding!

I was on my way somewhere else when roadworks sent me on a detour past here so I stopped and grabbed this one since I was here. Nice views too. TFTC # 12,443
When it's explained so well, the street racing gets almost interesting! Had to look up armco barrier - aha, a brand name for something we all investigate regularly [http://www.armco.uk.com/](http://www.armco.uk.com/)
A busy road, the cars were not racing, just going fast. This made for a quick stop, cross and find.
Thanks

A great afternoon caching in the Dunedin area, about 32 caches for the day a few good up and down walks and a bit of bush bashing and a lot of fun had. Many Thanks Bitsprayer.
Given the log of 29/12 saying there was no logsheet in the cache I checked it out today. There definitely IS a logsheet in there. Not sure what to make of the log but will give them the benefit of the doubt.
On the way back from the city to our campsite we found two more caches and we found them both.

Amazing view from up here. On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc U.N.C.L.E.. Find # 3731
A quick find while milling about waiting for quiz night to kick off. in the chilly night air, the views were spectacular, and r(e)ally drive home ('scuse the pun) just what a great track this would've been. Cheers for the lesson, U.N.C.L.E.
This had the potential to quite a tricky find but with persistence sat on the guard rail and inched along till bingo had this one in hand TFTC
Enjoying holidaying in the area with tmann421.

Had planned to get up to 200 today, but unfortunately I had to put my poor wee bunny to sleep this arvo. So, added her wee name beside mine - found this for her
Had no luck on this one last year, but I felt a little more daring this time around and stuck around longer. I found success - not immediately, but I did find it - this time around, and I'm rather glad to have it ticked off my three-mile radius list. Cheers!
Relatively quick find after a DNF a long time ago (when I first started of) TFTC
Thanks U.N.C.L.E.

Have helped with this race for many years (at least 15!) and eventually had the chance to race in clubmans during the 2002 running.

Checked after recent DNFs. Cache is gone. Disabling for a day or two while I organize a replacement.
No luck with yum9me and flyingpanda. Checked all the obvious spots but couldn't turn anything up.
Not too difficult of a find even at night. After a brief search of the obvious spot, I quickly realised it was at a secondary location. TFTC
A fairly quick find, although there were a number of possibilities, as a noisy car raced past below. A lot of historical information with this cache, and the part we played was pretty insignificant. TFTC
