Hubby was working today, so I decided to head off and try find a few caches before lunch to try and get the find count up, plus clear out a bit more of the area!! - I'd had my eyes on these few!! Would be nice to clear out a bit more, as my daily average is looking even worse this year than last, and it wasn't flash last year either!!

Speedy find here - nice to get the find count up I suppose...

After several days in Chch and surrounds we headed home today but of course made time to find some caches on the way. As well as caching around Ashley and Loburn we returned to the Greta Valley to finish what we didn't have time for on our way south.By the time we reached home last night our count for the day was 53, tired but satisfied with our efforts for the week. The logs were signed HZ+HM, H+H, or on some case with our full names.
Thank you to all CO's whose caches we found this week.

22-Apr-16
After caching managed to hold us up for two days we're heading for home. Not without picking up caches on the way and not so on the way though Big Grin And a detour via Greta Valley to take care of some unfinished business from a few days ago on the way down. The landscape is a lot more pleasant here than both the dry and irrigated land further South. A good variety of caches were found. Nice after doing some series on days previous. Our final tally for this multi day raid was 380+. Thank you Nosynel for placing this cache

Hard to spot on a freezing afternoon. Thank goodness for the hint. The ditch in front is a trick for the night cachers. Enjoying the little tour.

09-Aug-15
The lady contingent of the team were heading off to Disney on Ice and I had the wee man with me. So, we decided to head out an grab a few solved puzzles and do a bit of a loop via Rangiora and Amberly and see where the road takes us. The day wasn't the flashest as we had snow in the morning and we headed out in a sunny patch. We were heading this one on the Amberley stretch of our adventure after a successful FTF mission. I was nearby the other day but due to time constraints I left these ones. Nice and easy park n grab.

Thanks for the cache.

Very cold, wet, miserable day- and I had been saving this one for just such a day- when I wasn't going anywhere much. So ducked down the road while there was a break in the showers and fortunately made a quick find. (and now it's pouring again!). Thanks Nosynel

FTF @ 12.01 am!!!

Saw this one and another come into my inbox but the kids were asleep and Mike was at his 2nd job so had to wait. Mike got home about 11.55pm and i shot straight out.
Found this one all good there is a wee dip in front of it and due to being by myself and not to sure if any water was in it due to no light i jumped it Smile

Thanks for placing some more caches out here.

After a fun morning at Spencer park we headed home for a late lunch....that done and with full tummied family happily reading books and playing Lego I was able to sneak out for a daytime caching adventure.....so different than the usual nighttime trips! ...a lovely afternoon for a drive. Nice wee Cache. Quick find and sign before looping back to Kaiapoi for a Y cache. Cheers.
