This section of the North-West Motorway is undergoing a transformation which includes the GZ for this cache. I went to collect the cache before work started but they were too quick for me.

I will keep my eye on the location from time to time to see if and when I might be able to reinstate it.

#18 Nice quick grab after a wee detour down Triangle Rd, random bridge leading to a random wee area, had no idea it was there! Cache is in good nick, TFTC

I illegally parked with my hazards on while I searched for this one. Found quickly. Turned around to find a nosey neighbour had been checking out my car while I wasn't looking. Didn't look like he took anything from the open window. Damn muggles. TFTC

My first official find of my own! Have been caching for years with Coldstream and Tufty, but never as just me. So this is my boy's birthday hide, and I found it (well actually I replaced it for Tufty). tftc Dad

I managed to get this cache replaced.

Until one of my family gets it up and running again.

No luck here, but did note fresh paint around some of the potential hiding spots.

Went back with merlot58 with fresh eyes, good plan but no result.

Did not find this cache today, gone walkabout, area been spruced up with new railing and fresh paint work. Hope it will be replaced soon as I leave at the end of the month back to Austria. Cheers!!!!

Couldn't spot this one today. As it was school holidays searching was difficult as there were quite a few people around. I had a few funny looks from muggles passing by so decided to leave it. Will keep an eye on this in case I was just being blind.

First time in this area for a while so cleaning up some newer caches. Parked around the corner and took a wander over to GZ. Cache soon located and off to find Boris and Dolly's one now.

On my way back to Henderson after a small mapping update at Hobsonville Point so decided to get the 2 new caches here. Easy find and a quiet street.

Joined up with yorkshirekiwi83 today to clean up a few more West Auckland caches. After parking around the corner we quickly found the cache at GZ and observed the chaos of the NW Mwy from a different angle than I'm used to. TFTC!

Was in Henderson after attending some short movies at Corbans when this came out ...
Picked up Ric and went to look for Tufty's new cache !
Nice quick find even in the dark .....thanks to you and your grandson Tufty !
Hope he will keep up the interest as he gets older , and get a lot of use from your old GPS !

Had hoped to find some birthday cake in the container, but no such luck. Tftc.

It's nearly 11.30pm and we have just finished watching a DVD but haven't got up from the couch yet when the phones beep. No way are we going out in the cold at this hour. We check out the new cache and confirm that decision.Then we notice a new cache on the motorway not far from home. And it hasn't been found yet. We are out the door in a flash, wide awake now.
On arriving at GZ we see a car parked nearby and someone with a head torch inside. Either they have just arrived or are about to depart. We recognise Gorby and it seems the cache is still unfound. But not for long. Moments later the three of us are signing the log for a joint FTF just before midnight .
Happy 6th birthday to your grandson, Tufty. One of our grandsons turns 6 next week too. TFTC!

I was in 2 minds about abandoning the warm comfy lounge on such a cold night. Luckily for me I was dressed in my outside clothes so it was just a matter of grabbing the GPS and off! I parked up at bridge and then I noticed a familiar car pull up too: it was kiwicouple! Nice to see you two. After a quick search the cache was found and signed then we uuummed and aaahed about venturing further into more cold but we did.... thanks Tufty and your grandson for the hide.
