Not a great start to our caching holiday. Oh well things can only get better. No trouble with bright in this team but no cache to be had.

An early morning caching mission to Yass to top up my find numbers for the day. No sign of the cache.

We were camping in Yass for the weekend wonderful spot, thrilled to find caches very close to our camp. Found this one on the ground so I popped it back where it should have been according to the hint. TFTC
After I checked into the motel time for dinner. I had a rough idea of how many I needed to get the 120, but was not confident and so did a few extra just in case (thankfully I did). Headed to the pub and had dinner and then wandered around some caches in town with a torch and found all except one (D4) - so was happy with that.
Last one for the night - bumped down the rough track and parked about 50 metres away. Used stealth as there was a van parked nearby (but all dark). Knew where the hide would be so was very quick sign and return. Number 121 for the day.

Wasn't magnetic, but the rest of the hint was certainly accurate! A very common hide, but a good one that I don't mind at all Much better than a nano or a mint tin on a sign that's for sure!
A good area for a cache, I remember finding the other one nearby a while back because of it's size, but didn't have time to find this! Ended up being nice and quick only parking metres away! Coordinates were pretty good from memory
Thanks

Streak day 73
Below is a blurb about us.
We are trying to get a badge from Project-GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to
get badges for adding photos to our found logs.
We Started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full time (living in a caravan), caching fits in well with this lifestyle.
It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone.
When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there to get the caches we want.

Quick grab while we walked down to the bridge for a look around
Beautiful morning here and a great spot for a rest before continuing on to the beach!!

Saw a couple of suspicious people lurking about actually it was Liz and Bruce! 2 of the nicest geocachers you could ever meet, looking for this cache. We added our name to the log as well.
Staying at the Yass showground so this was a cache close by that we did. Nice one. Thanks to team.wallace for arranging this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Tankengine and I had two important caches to deal with today. TE had offered to help me replace a cache I dropped down a pipe on the way here and he had a mutli in Yass to do so he could clear the town out once and for all - well until the next cache is published here anyway.
This cache: We drove down to this one and found quickly before heading off to the bridge to have a closer look and to pick up an answer to part of a multi. Tftc team.wallace!!!

A nice walk around looking at the tramway trestle bridge, and the river. Yes, luckily for me, being a five foot nothing, I had muggle hubby with me, who has the reach. TFTC team.wallace
#307 Here for the Murrumbateman Field Days, afternoon walk. Not magnetic? Looks like a new container. TFTC
A few days caching in the ACT and surrounds with Steeba and The Rats, another trip away like countless others that we have done before. We got the dates, we did the planning, we worked out a route. But there was one thing that we could not plan for; the weather.
The caches were excellent. The company faultless. The weather; atrocious. High winds, cold, sleet, rain, mush, icy, snow, we had it all! But we endured, and had a fantastic time regardless. Did I mention that it was cold? Bone chillingly cold. I am not sure my fingers have as yet recovered! Some roads were even closed due to snow, curtailing our route and resulting in some last-minute changes.
Please forgive the boiler-plate log, I assure you it is no reflection on the caching experience of our few days away. Thank you to all cache owners for their hides.
Cheers

A very chilly couple of days in and around the ACT with The Rats and Hoojar- most of the time the temperature didn't peak above 4 degrees! Amongst the sleet, rain, wind and cold however we made plenty of finds on mainly a number of power trails. TFTC!
Well, all of Team DDTs are a little vertically challenged, but fortunately we were taller enough to retrieve this one. We are staying at the local caravan park, but the RV area looks nice if you are self contained. TFTC
As we are camping in Yass for a short time, we thought we would pick up a few caches around the district with ilook4geo. It has been a very cold day with a gale force icy blast coming straight from the Antarctic region, so we cut the caching run short, being more interested in thawing out and hibernating.
Each cache we found had initials added to the log and was replaced hurriedly so we could get back to the car and out of the wind. Thank you to team.wallace for this cache placement.

Out on a cache hunting day with goingplaces2 and it was a v-e-r-y cold and windy day. We found enough to make the day worthwhile before heading back to camp to warm up again. Each log signed, all replaced. TFTC.
Found by Mary and David at 15:10. So many of our caching friends have caravans of various sizes. We are past the age of tenting and, if we did get a caravan, it would have to be 6 star rating for Mary's tastes. Nowhere at home to store such a thing, so we stay at motels or caravan park cabins instead. Our thanks to team.wallace.
Out for a Saturday driving lesson and caching session. Yass is our point of call for today. Found this cache easily. TFTC
Couple of RVs still around but not down at GZ so able to make a quick find. TFTC team.wallace
With morning coffee in hand I found this one after a great night's sleep in my motorhome @ 0855, tftc
Didn't have a pen but logging anyway. I can confirm it isn't quite a silver bullet...
I was out caching with Gliss! and Joolay today in the Yass area where the weather was sunny but the wind was wickedly cold. We had a very successful day finding some really sneaky caches thanks to Joolay but also had a couple of DNFs. Thanks Gliss! for being driver extraordinaire. This was one of our smilies. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches that add to our fun. All logs were signed mostly as SG.
Two half days of caching around Yass. Arrived today after dark, but still able ti use darkness as stealth and grab a few caches in and just out of town.

Found by Aussie Train Driver 14/05/2019, find number 1441.
There were a couple of RV's nearby but I made a quick swoop to find, sign and replace the cache without being noticed. Nice spot for a cache. TFTC!

Heading north from the Clearwaters Mega at Queanbeyan. Enjoying the sites of smaller towns & out caching today. Logs signed Coongoola or CG.

Found while staying at the free camp. Took a flying leap to replace the cache and was almost left hanging by the finger. Imagine having to explain that to the authorities.... TFTC team.wallace.
After a successful few days in the Surrounds of Tarago, we decided to head over this side and pick up a few here before heading into canberra. Nice spot her and ok for us to bring the caravan when it is a bit warmer, as long as the mozzies don't also visit

We found this cache while camping at this beautiful spot back in February. I have just loaded my GSAK with caches from our GPS and have found we haven’t written logs for many caches we found and didn’t find while in Yass, hence the late log. Sorry.
A much nicer day after a break in the run of hot days, and much better for caching so we made a trip out to Yass to clear a few around the town and along the highway. It was very pleasing to get this cache because the last time we visited there were several campers, and pairs of eyes watching us. All quiet today so we made a find in peace. The cache needs maintenance however - the logsheet is very wet and a previous finder has mushed it up by jamming it in. We managed to sign, but the sheet really needs replacing. Thanks team.wallace.
Thanks for making us take a walk around Yass along the river on a beautiful d Cheers
11/10/2018- muggles everywhere so had to do some pole dancing- thank you for find very clever- The Derrolicks & Whyatte
Looked high and low South and East but no luck today. We searched the most obvious place using the clue as a guide but couldn't spot the cache.

Heading to Yass for an overnight stay and Cache weekend. Grabbed as part of my solo weekend.... being on my #4000 milestone at the OZGeomuster Mega Event.

Out to find some caches today as we have been forced to stay a while in Yass owing to car trouble. Surprised to see Yass has so many caches. Enjoying what Yass has to offer. TFTC
We arrived in Yass for an overnight stay. After checking in and a snooze we were off for a nice walk. This was No. 2 of the "trek"! Thanks team.wallace
I needed to use a tool provided by a tree to get this one. I am a shorty, but if I can smell a cache I will jump pretty high
Heading south on holidays we stopped and found a few caches along the way.
Since we were camped here in the RV we had to find it.
