#4660 After picking up the ute from a service in Yass, took the opportunity for a cheeky cache search before heading home.Spotted this disabled cache and decided it was worthy of a look.Pulled up alongside and came up with a quick find at GZ.All seems OK and name added to the log. Thanks team.wallace for the cache placement.
Got to GZ and quickly found the cache. We had to avoid a approaching muggle but we think its safe. TFTC
This is real hard to find. Took us about half an hour so make sure you got time on your hands as well as a pen or pencil.
I'd rate it a 2 difficulty.

Find No: 9018. Visiting from Newcastle, heading home from the Rutherglen Mega, enjoying the multitude of caches in the area, thanks for the cache team.wallace!!
While heading back out of Yass with goingplaces2 this was one of the caches we found. All was in good order. TFTC.
On our way home again with ilook4geo and caching as we went. Found quite a few and signed each log. All except one were in good condition and we were happy to add some more smileys to our caching map. No problems here with container or log. Thanks go to team.wallace for placing this cache.
Geoboyfriend circled the right side and came up with the goods. No roos sighted here tonight just after sunset, enjoying the smell of the nearby wool place though! Ah it’s good to be back in the country, reminds me of my childhood. Nice leg stretch after arriving at the nearby hotel for the night.
Found whilst enjoying a Sunday drive through Yass. I enjoy these park nearby caches. TFTC
I brought So out for a party in Yass so instead of driving to Canberra and back it was time to collect some of the caches that have popped up since I last cached in Yass.
We the description is accurate, a couple of Roo's at the end of the street greeted me before I made a nice quick find. TFTC

Found on a caching expedition out to Yass with sebass19: from 9:30am to 7pm, 51 caches! Parked right next to GZ and after a couple of seconds, Seb had the cache in hand. On a roll now: TFTC team.wallace!
Staying at the Yass showground so this was a cache close by that we did. Nice one. Thanks to team.wallace for arranging this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

A quick park and grab. Came here for the weekend to get some caches - mostly smiles TFTC.
Yay. Another cache to add a treasure to. Took nothing Threesmartgirls & Nanibro. Thanks for the find
Back out again to finish off those of the trail I didn't manage yesterday, and a few others in and around the area for good measure. With just on one week of leave left before returning to ‘w’, better continue to make the most of it.
It was another great day outside, love this Winter weather. Found 45 from 46, but the one that was not to be, as with a few others that I did manage to find had already been archived. Bonus!
Apologies for the cut and paste, anything of note added at the end of log.
All found without issue and in condition. TNLNSL TFTC

With Dino out in Yass for a soccer game. We made the best out of the long trip and found a lot of caches all over Yass today. Since this was virgin territory for us there are still lots more waiting though for next time .
Quick find, nice cache, all in good order.
Thank you team.wallace for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

We're camping at some quiet locations and great little towns that should lead us to the Mega at Queanbeyan.
It's a credit to all the cache owners down here, just about all the finds have been well maintained and with excellent coords.
Camped at the Gundaroo Oval to see if we can find some of the trails around here.
Thanks for placing this cache team.wallace . We visited this cache at 12:10 p.m. and it's #4086 for us.

Wondering back home after the Alexandra event. 2862 so far for us. Thanks for placing this cache team.wallace, without cachers like you we wouldn't have a hobby. Signed log. took nothing, left nothing. Please take a bow. we did many caches today and most if not all were in good condition and actually there. We cache in a lot of country towns, the caches on the open roads are usually there but the town ones are a mixed bag. The cache owners around here take a bow. really well done.

I had rather a sleepless night when I realised that I still needed over 100 caches to reach my milestone in time for the Alexandra Event, despite having had such a great weekend.
What to do? Where to go to grab as many caches as possible knowing we were having friends join us for the night? Yass was the answer as I had not found many out there and there are lots of new caches.
It turned out to be a lovely day. Although the weather was cool to start, by lunchtime it was quite warm. I was really impressed with the variety of cache hides, containers and locations. I enjoyed discovering parts of Yass that I didn't know existed. On previous occasions it has been a case of travelling through the town - before the by pass obviously and now I rarely go in at all.
Thank you to all COs for placing and maintaining these caches for us all to enjoy.

As the weather warms, this needs more courage! I found a helpful implement today TFTC
Out for a drive and a day of spring caching around Yass and Gunning. This one gave a little trouble, but a closer look and we had it in hand. Thanks team.wallace.

Headed out with DarksideDan for a few caches in Yass on a frosty Saturday morning. 6 hours later we had gorgeous warm weather, 40 caches under our belts and a fabulous lunch at the cafe in town. A great morning out getting some numbers with lots of laughs and a few interesting bird sightings on the way. Unless otherwise stated, caches found quickly and in good order.
DSD dropped a TB at this cache.
Thanks team.wallace for the cache!

Can you say road trip. Today I headed out with AG27 to go on a caching road trip to Yass. Together we collected 40 caches. I took some excellent photos and had a stunning lunch. Thanks heaps for the cache.

*Our last day in Yass, in the good company of Suscoe, we concentrated on finding caches within a 5 km radius of the town. That still set us quite a high target for the day. Just as the rain started, we signed our final log - 44/44 smiley tokens!!*
Thanks team.wallace for placing caches, for everyone's enjoyment.

Suscoe and Phetlern were out and about for our last day of caching in the Yass area.
The day started cool and a little cloudy, but it was fine until the last cache was found and then a thunder storm rolled across from the western hills. Great timing we reckoned.
A really pleasant day of town and nearby caching with a good mixture of hides and fun on the way around the roads.
Thanks to team.wallace for this hide.
A favourite for this and all the other caches that you have popped out for the geoworld to enjoy.
Thank you!!

A day of caching with dty73 had us heading to Yass today. Despite a cold and very foggy morning start to the day, it turned out to be a beautiful sunny and even warm day with all caches found. A variety of very different caches awaited us, some a little more challenging than others, and a few quite spectacular locations as well.
No roos to be seen today but we did find the cache! Thanks for the cache team.wallace!

Aquilus1 and I decided that as we both had a couple of hours to spare, we would head to Yass!
Quick, easy find. The crumbling mud cover, felt very weird when I first moved it to see where the cache was. I like the holder for the container. At least it shouldn't get too yucky. TFTC team.wallace!!!

Chauffeuring the Ridgeo-pup to Yass from Queanbeyan for a dog sporting event but stopping for as many caches as we have time for on the way. A nice and easy park and grab. Left the GPS in the car cos I was pretty sure I could find without it. Yep, there it is - Thanks for the cache, team.wallace.
