This is my local footy team ground. Nice hide. There used to be an annual junk auction here at Easter to support the local side. Go Tiges!
This is our fourth trip to the northern island this year. The first three were primarily for family events but with some opportunities to do some caching along the way. The fourth trip is different as caching is our focus. After getting off The Spirit of Tasmania we are heading north to cache at Wangaratta and then Yass before heading into the ACT and Queanbeyan for a week. After that we will travel to Jindabyne for a few days with summiting Mount Kosciuszko being our main target for this part of our trip. Then we will visit Cooma and Tumut before heading back down the track through Wangaratta and Mansfield as we make our way to Alexandra for the MEGA. After the weekend we will continue to make our way south and back onto the Spirit of Tasmania for the “drive” across Bass Strait. We are really looking forward to three weeks of intense caching in great areas and, hopefully, catching up with some geocachers in each of the areas we will visit.
We left Healesville this morning and headed towards Gembrook, caching along the way. We went this way because we wanted to look for the final location for the Victorian Premiers Challenge, a cache that we had been working on for some time. After that e headed west into the Melbourne CBD to stay in Parkville for the night. Whilst there we took the opportunity to walk in Royal Park to find some recently published GC and GCA caches. It was another very warm day which tested our stamina.
at GZ we found the base and lid of the container but no contents. After retrieving both parts from the centre of the object, we left a temporary replacement logbook in its own plastic bag, reassembled the container and placed it back where we had found it. This cache needs checking by the CO. Thanks Chooktrist for the cache.
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. On 1 September 2017 our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. Well, after 616 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 100.3. We have attained our goal, and got there much sooner than we had anticipated. We will continue with the extended logs until the end of the trip to give ourselves a little buffer so that it is very unlikely that we will fall below 100 words per cache average in the future*****

As previous finder described. Great location but only a sistema container with no lid could be found. I poked around in the bottom of the implement and found a pencil top eraser/rubber seemed to remain of the swag. I left the bag of dog droppings (I presume) behind.
I think this needs looking at, found a container I suspect is the catch but no lid and empty. A Tupperware container with black tape underneath?
Having dropped the geokids off to go horse-riding and with an hour and a bit to myself (a rare thing at the moment, with partner overseas), I didn't need to do much self-convincing to go and see if I could find a few caches in the area.
This was the second of five finds for the afternoon. Parked in front of the scout hall then walked the short distance to GZ - on approach I couldn't help but smile at the inspiration for the cache's name - always been a fan of rusting old equipment left in odd spots - and after a short poke around the cache was in hand.
After waiting for a dog walker to pass by I signed the log, visited a trackable, collected another trackable, and dropped off a Princess Leia action figure to boost the swag content here. Thanks for the cache, Chooktrist.

Find #1624. Our first find on Easter Sunday. Great place for a cache. Happy Easter Chooktrist
We found this cache today at 2:30pm as number 16 of 18 on our Picking Berries and More - April Afternoon. Nice to see such a well placed large cache on this unit. They generally tend to be nanos that are extremely hard to locate. Surprisingly, only our 3rd ever find actually within the town of Woori Yallock over the years. Thanks from D and HA B-A.
Great hide interesting park. Traded little Ghanaian Drum for a plastic bat. A few little goodies to trade. Dropped off a TB Proxy. TFTC
#751 - 2.10am
Picking up my 'daily double' nice and early, lol. I felt like I had all of Woori Yallock to myself at this hour.
Despite the cache title, the feature here was quite unexpected.
Thanks chookkrist. It was a lovely starry night tonight, but a little less wind chill would have made it ideal.

For your first cache it was a good one, nice shade and a short stroll from the car park.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Nice hide - tftc. Took nothing left a fake piece of sushi found in an excellent multi at plenty gorge.
Driving past and thought I'd drop in for a look. Easy find but was definitely wishing for longer arms but some interesting contortions had the prize in hand hmm now to put it back.......
Cool find. All geokids loved it geokid8 pit in a horse, Geokid9 put in a shark, geokid10 put in a kangaroo and we took a spider in a Web. TFTC
Out for a day of Geocaching, nothing major planned just want to get a few more smileys on the map!
This was the first find for the day, I had previously logged a DNF on this a while ago, not quite sure how I missed it!!!

Found the obvious item at Gz but also found the big spider standing guard.
With a big stick soon had cache in hand.
Cheers for the cache

With outstretched arms was able to retrieve this among the spider webs. Quickly signed and returned discreetly, a quick smile to the neighbour out gardening on the way back to car. TFTC.
Empty container found lid in leaf litter and solid pad and plastic bag scattered ...rehid but CO may like to check this site? As it may have been muggles or moved from proper hiding spot?????????
Widen search area after 13 mins looking near what I thought clue meant then found container empty , lid and wet pad , plastic bag ... So managed to sign some paper and put container back together and re hid the cache but not sure if correct place!!!!!
This one took us a while to find but it was a great hiding spot! Careful of wombat poo and spiders haha!
DNF at 1:06 PM.
We looked all around and inside that roller. Even took photos of that middle bit, but nothing could be found.

Picking up the girls from guide camp and couldn't help but stop for a cache! Leaving a travel bug for it to continue its journey! Thanks for the cache!
Out for a drive in the bush with the Jones's. This was an easy find for the kids. Tftc.
Picked the girls up from girl guide camp and found a great spot for this beautiful travel bug to continue its journey! Hopefully it gets to visit many beautiful places!
We were heading toward Marysville with SuperPop to check out the waterfalls and hopefully grab a few caches as well.
This was our last for the day and we had a bit of a giggle when we saw where we were heading.
SuperPop in a previous life was a green keeper and had been up close and personal with this type of equipment but it was Cracker Girls' eagle eye that spotted the cache and we were soon adding our name to the log.
Thanks Chooktrist for the cache.

Nice, we liked the unique GZ and hide. It makes a difference to the repeated types of hides that are overdone. TFTC
After all that I read a few logs and thought I'd better have another look. Boom u sneaky bugger.
Thanks for the easy find on my way home. As they used to say on a TV show, "Made my day that did - made my day!"

Visited some Travellers.

Managed a quick find late this afternoon which was handy given the location to both sporting clubs nearby, I have come to to this area a few times now with junior footy but have never seen it empty before. Thanks Chooktrist for the cache.
Spotted the hide fairly quickly but finding the cache was a bit harder.finally found it (Lucky im skinny). Some great swaps in there.
This cache took me longer than it really should have. As we drove in we were pleased to see that the weather had kept everyone away, so there was no trouble with muggles. The hide area was quite obvious, but it still took me about 15minutes to get the cache in hand. Log signed and cache back in place and we are off to our next target. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Out tonight with poptoppete on a short cache run (well not run, driving!) in the area picking up a few new cache. Bit wet out but we managed to keep the walks short and not get a soaking. Tftc
Found it! A new cache not 5 min from home base but due to work and all that other life stuff it has taken us a number of weeks to actually get here. Today we made the time and between geokid activities we made our way to the GZ. The kids knew exactly where the name would take them and were very quickly on scene, although it took a grown up arm to make the grab. Log signed and the cache returned to its keep..TFTC
Cant believe you beat me to it. I have lived in woori for 35 years. Started caching 6 months ago and i had picked this etxact location to be my first hide. Lucky i took skinny geomolly cos i wouldn't have been able to get it otherwise. Tftc
Out for a ride on the motorcycle and a place I have stopped for a break many times in the past . Spotted the hide but was bit if a stretch to put my hand on the cache. All good in the end.

Published - Congratulations on your first cache placement. If you haven't already done so, please make sure you have a look at this item on the Geocaching Blog titled; "You hid your first geocache, now what?" see here: http://www.geocaching.com/blog/2015/03/you-hid-your-first-geocache-now-what/
{FTF} Just half a k from my house, wow. I couldn't just sit still, I had to grab it. I knew where I was going so I walked straight to it. Finding the cache wasn't that easy though. I thought I had looked everywhere, but couldn't see it. Finally I had it, a good hiding spot. Thanks Chooktrist a good first hide.
