I have informed CO, that cache is broken & no log. Permission given to log. Tftc
Nice quiet area..soon found but feel may have suffered some cache creep ..or I cant count...thanks Steed& Peel
After having technology problems close by I had to find this to get me back in the zone. Thanks for the placement
#542. An awesome afternoon for an amble to appropriate another amiable aspect on my geocaching atlas.

A raid on the Waikato was long overdue so McJandals and I teamed up as we've both got similar caches on our Hamilton hit lists. This cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Cheers steedandpeel, TFTC
#6613. I am up in Hamilton for some work meetings. But have added a bit of extra time to the trip so I can do some Hamilton caches over the weekend. Today its a case of grabbing a few caches in the morning before I swap rental cars (I am paying for the Rent a Dent and the other one is for the work trip) then I head out to Raglan for a meeting in the afternoon. Parked close by and wandered off to the GZ. Read the description and hint to speed things up. That narrowed down the hiding spot. Would have been quicker if I had noticed the first tree was a different species. Found in the second place checked. Signed the logbook and put the cache back where I found it. Thanks steedandpeel for the cache. What an absolutely awesome alphabet A cache. Favourite nonsense word starting with A - abracadabra.
Remember these lyrics from the Steve Miller band song "Abracadabra, I wanna reach out and grab ya." Definitely could be a theme song for geocaching!

Found using Cachly app and logged using the text template, so please excuse generic logging in advance. On a spur of the moment roadie with Phillip.perry from the Bay of Plenty, a plan was hatched and here we are after leaving Tauranga at 6am to make the most of the day. Great to have these places to visit and many thanks to all you COs for the placements. Cheers
Find two for the day with the family. Another nice spot but had to hold the kids tight. Nothing like a loud ‘Dad Dad I found it’
In Hamilton today for a meeting at 4pm organized my week so I could come a little early and get a bit of caching in beforehand. A beautiful sunny afternoon this os much better than work.
Managed to get this one after a short search.

Wasn't sure whether I would have any luck with this one but thought I would give it a go. Tried to follow the hint but just looked in the obvious spots when I was rewarded with just what the doctor ordered but I hope I don't get tummy ache. Cache all good and not that hard TFTC
I had endless trouble here. Spent far more time here than I wanted to and still came away empty handed. Found the bridge, the wire fence, the third pitto but no cache for me today, maybe A stands for A.W.O.L. never mind, I'll put this on the watchlist and see what happens....
Got up early this morning and headed to the cito event, then decided to keep getting caches so I could rack up some points for the planetary pursuit challenge. Managed to find a few but a few dnfs also. I don't think I will make it to the elusive 500 points, but I did get my 500th find which is a nice consolation prize
Parked up near GZ and crossed the bridge before realising I didn't need to. Bit of scrambling to the cache and made the find. Interesting wee container! Off to the next one. Thanks for the cache

Visiting Houchens road of a weekend of fun on the mini-ring housed nearby. Whilst on a break I walked down here to stretch my legs.
Had a scrabble about and came up with the goods. All in good order here.
Thanks for placing and greetings from the .

Had been here before. No curious neighbours this time so soon had cache in hand. Thanks for placing.
I had to be in Hamilton for work, so I thought I would try to grab some easy caches on the way. Thanks.
A quick find but then it took A little bit of wrAngling to get to the log, soon hAd thAt sorted And we were on to the next one, tftc
Found it!!! This was our 2nd go at it, brought back the hunting expert. Once it was spotted it was like "duh!" The pitto thing threw me off, there were so many I didn't know where to start counting from but that's probably my ignorance of trees haha. Really cool cache too, looking forward to finding the whole alphabet!
Went the very very soggy way in the rain. Big mistake. Zak the schnauzer almost sank from view. But he loved the run in the park.
1997 Came along the park. It was wet underfoot. Jumped the drain to get on the correct side, Then found a bridge at GZ. Footsteps around GZ made me believe someone had been there today. When signing log this was confirmed. Finally got the smile for this one. AAAAAH
A is for a cache found this morning. Two is for two trips back to the car since I left the keys at the cache. Nice dry log sheet.
Another awesome alphabet cache found - woo hoo! Had no plans to be caching today, coz I'm dashing to Sat morning winter sports with the teen plus packing to head away on an overseas work trip this afternoon plus a million chores to be done before I go. Then a geocaching email reminded me today was a souvenir day: could I manage a super quick find on the way to soccer??? A quick check of the local map & this one looked a good option, almost a park & grab. Not a muggle in sight when we got here thankfully and with a fantastic hint (thanks S&P), it was a nice quick find & off to soccer in time - yeah! TFTC
Been a bit of a slow start to the year, time for another road trip!

First ever geocache and thoroughly exciting as i walked past it regularly as a muggle unknown to the hidden goodness! After two failed attempts today due to high muggle density locations. This one was discreet and reasonably easy for my first! My partners un amusement wasn't surprising but he came along anyhow. Thanks for thrill!
Awesome another audacious alphabet A attempted and achieved! We probably came from the wrong direction and needed to navigate the fence but soon found the fruit of our labour. Mrs Walker stayed in the car glued to her phone, apparently there is a social networking site, Bookface? Some thing like that which she spends lots of time on. Why waste time using your phone for that when you could find containers hidden in public spaces with it instead? My two boys who joined me on the search didn't seem quite as interested as me and spent more time eating and wanting to investigate every spot except the one were the geocache was. Thankfully at least one of the team was on task. Thanks for another bite at the apple S&P.
Nice quick find and happy to be out of the rain thanks to the tree cover TFTC!!
Easily found it at noon with StefTheVet at a short visit in Hamilton before heading down South. A very nice idea and a good hiding place. hopefully we will do more of the alphabet one day! TFTC!
The end of 2015 saw us take on a big couple of days of caching. At the beginning of the year, we set a goal of reaching 4000 caches by the end of the year. Towards the end of 2015, it wasn't looking too promise as geocaching got put a bit on the backburner for us as life and things happened. Come two days to the end of 2015 and we realised we were much closer than we realised, so set off to Hamilton for some binge caching to reach that milestone! Today was a day with a lot of more DNFs than expected and less numbers than we wanted, but regardless, it still brought us that little bit closer to our goal.
Once we were in the right area, the cache was quickly spotted. Our first find of the Alphabet Soup series, liked the theme going on here, lots of fun! Thanks for the hide.

Another quick find here thanks to the great hint. Much appreciated. Thanks for the caches, must be getting my way through the alphabet slowly.
This was the second cache of today's outing. I elected to approach from the park side because I don't like to be conspicuous. There were dog walkers in the park though. You were right about the wet - it was actually wetter and muddier than I had imagined, resulting in having to return home to wash my shoes and put on another pair. Thanks for the cache.
Sunday afternoon and time to do some city caches.
This was under 2kms from home and on the radar for awhile tftc

A massive day ahead... Today's adventure requires 50 caches with at least a kilometre of separation. It's also a Dot Day for me... And we are interested in finding any caches that were published within a week of today... No problem! Out with Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We have a planned route that will take us as far north as Waipu (Northland).
We were unsure about this one... There were several possibilities. Eventually, we spotted a well hidden object in amongst the ground cover. The cache proved to be difficult to extract, because the nylon was tangled up. This took a few minutes to unravel... TFTC.

Frost at home this morning and 2 degrees and today is going to be a biggie for us. Planned at attempt our challenge of 50 caches a kilometre or more apart, problem is we have almost cleaned out all caches within 100 Km's of home so arranged with Hemi (Squirrel Nutcase) to pick up at 6am and head north. For some reason I was up at 3.15am so this just added more time to my day. Caching was a little sparse until we got to about Silverdale. State Highway 1 was very busy and with caches on both sides of road, watchful eyes were very important.
7.45am -Bit of a search around to find and took a little while to claim log sheet but got there in the end. SLTFTC

Was meant to be heading up North for the weekend but a very last minute change of plans meant a earlier morning trip North instead. So now with the evening free, what else to do than a spot of caching. Parked as close as I could and hopped the fence. Light was fading fast but with the torch in hand and a bit of a hunt I spotted the little worm. Took a moment or two to get to the log to sign my name. Thanks for the hide.
Needing a dot day filled and have run out of Cambridge caches so a trip further afield was necessary. Found in the dark after getting to it the tricky way - came back the easy way. TFTC!
At 292m from home, it was time we searched for this one.
An interesting hide, well themes, and slightly camoed in this environment.
Thanks for one more of the series.

Back to my old stomping grounds can remember the day we chucked some logs over the creek many years ago to make a bridge at this crossing.
As we arrived at GZ there was dog about to be walked so chatted with the owner while Drulisa went further along grabbed and logged the cache easily, nice quick find.
Love coming home to find new caches where I grew up must tackle the rest one day. Tftc

Made getting to the cache way harder than it should have been but once at gz the hints made for a quick find, now to walk back home with my very heavy bag of groceries.

took a little searching, but for the life of me could not get the log container out, after thinking about it for a bit the penny dropped and I soon had the log sheet in hand,

Checked emails when I got up and saw that this had raised its head above the bar, so as I had an early trip north this morning I thought what difference is it going to make heading out a little earlier.
Managed to park close and then it was just a matter working through the cover. Coords are so on and great little container.
Thanks for the early morning cache in the cold
Thanks for the placement
