Find No: 9101. Out for the morning with shaneo58 & Justontime, Yella Belly phoned me and we convinced him to join us, thanks for the cache aussieben!!
A trip down from northern climes
Thought I'd get me some southern finds
A walk in the heat
Not far off the beat
Easy enough when you follow the signs.
Although it says you must
I came devoid of stuff
Without a pen
To fill it in
This log will have to be enough
I sloshed my way up to the cache site and found the container. It was packed with a colony of ants and their eggs, plus something which may once have been a log. After tipping out the ants I made a mark on the log but it really needs replacing after the rain. Thanks for the hide.
Tftc easy find found at 9pm stepped in mud on the way and back and a dog started barking at us and did not stop.
Quick find. Replaced log with waterproof because the other one is broken (see photo). TFTC
Nice quick find. Cache was home to an ants nest, we cleaned up and replaced log.

Sorry we were logged in twice! Haven’t got this one, just checking out future locations, we were actually in Morpeth this day!
Found the fake rock but not the cache must have been moved by Makayla, Oscar and Belinda 20/3/21
Very easy find. Found almost immediately. Although, there was a daring magpie guarding it. Added a sense of adventure.
Find # 6316
Nice quick find.
We are loving our journey around the Hunter Valley. Weather-wise, today is a repeat of yesterday with a stiff cold wind.

I joined a trip to Maitland with Aquilus1, dty73, Tankengine, Barb2e, Kitty Katch & Joolay. The weekends main game was to do the dogs head series, but along the way we did some old caches around Sydney and did as many Maitland caches as time allowed. The return journey was via some old caches and some challenges that may or may not be met one day.
Day 1 was the big drive north, broken by a few stops in Sydney including Australia's Oldest cache at Lane Cove.
This was an after dinner effort, and a nice way to walk off a bit of sitting down all day stiffness.
Thanks for the cache Aussieben

A caching trip away with Kittykatch, Joolay, Aquilus1, Tankengine, Barb2e & Albida33 - the Capital Crunchers Gang!!
We were staying nearby and couldn’t resist the temptation of having a cache this close. So after dinner we decided to go on a nightly adventure.
We all walked up through the houses (probably making too much noise for the locals), but we made the short walk with phone torches all the way to GZ. We soon had the cih and made our way back up the hill. At the top of the hill three young men and a dog (which we were glad was on a leash) confronted us, asking what we were doing out.
We must admit we all had a laugh and so did the guys as they realised when we got closer a bunch of “old” people were the ones making the disturbance.
After a bit of a chat it was getting pretty late for us old folk, so we said good night and headed back to the Motel to bed. Tftc and the adventure aussieben!!!
