We walked up the hill to GZ not many places it could be so the cache was an easy find Travelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumulated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Saturn's day the nineteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A short detour on the way home for a quick find not too far off the freeway. Thanks
I was in Doncaster visiting relatives today. I managed to sneak off for a walk and grab this size small cache which I needed for my calendar. Log is full. Thanks!
Having found four cache by a newer CO in the area I decided to grab a kangadrew72 cache too.The satellites were less than helpful. The light fading fast. (Of course I don't have a torch in my bag.)After doing the zig zag dance for a few minutes I just happened to be facing in the right direction to spot this little blighter. Thanks for the cache mate.
Found by caughtatwork on 08/10/2023 at 3:50:00 PMA quick find out here today.Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.*Overall Experience: 3*GAFF1

It was not the type on container i was expecting by a easy find none the less. The reserve was reasonably busy for a Saturday morning in between sports seasons. Thankfully I found a long enough break in-between passing muggles to grab it.
Nice and easy find on a lovely spring day. Probably needs a new log paper as it is very full. Tftc
Visiting my son nearby, dropped by for a cache or two, an easy find.
My thanks to Kangadrew72.

I had no pen so here’s a photo proof of the find. Bit too out in the open however if you know you know TFTC
Ohh great. It's school sports day... so I quietly crept up and hid behind trees, zoned in and signed log. Kids didn't notice me, phew!
Happened to be at the right angle to make a quick spot. Geo dog loved running round the oval, 10/10 review!!
Dropped by to grab a cache.
This one looked to be a replacement in place. Signed the log.
Thanks kangadrew72 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

TwoEms were puzzled to find a micro attached to the outside of half a small container—the other half, presumably missing. Reading through the logs we discovered this cache had gone through a few transformations over the years, but it is unclear if the current state is the work of a Good Samaritan or the CO. In any case, it looks like a caterpillar broke out of its cocoon and became so depressed it couldn’t turn into butterfly. TFTC.
Found the cache quickly as the coords are spot on .. thanks Kangadrew72 for placing the cache
*Found on the 31 Jul 2022 @ 12:13 pm.*
*Cache find # 13113.*
Found the top, found the log on the ground and signed it but there is no bottom to the cache.
Had a look around d the area but could not see it.
Placed log back in the top with something to hold it in place.

What a day!
International icecream day and some caching with my buddy Rebel Acts.
The only downside is the weather, looks like it's going to rain.
Cheers for the cache.

In the area today for Basketball and decided to pick up a couple of smilies on the way home.
GeoSon was very engaged with this puzzle as he has just started coding and printing at school.
A big tick from us.

Had a DNF on this one years ago when it had been muggled. Wasn't planning on finding it today but was riding past and have it crack. At first I thought it would be another DNF. There had been some works in the area for a new light tower for the footy oval and they've cut down some trees. I thought the right tree might be gone. But it was there! Substantially cut back, but the cache was all good. Took a while to open it, but finally did and ticked this one off. Tftc
Arrived early for an orienteering event around hilly Koonung. Plenty of time to have a look around. Came upon the cache quickly and then the fun began. Clockwise / anticlockwise then back again. Managed to get through three levels of extraction but could not get the final release. I won't count it as a DNF as I did find it but I won't claim it as I didn't sign the log. Mind you it is a "traditional". TFTC kangadrew72
Nice little puzzle to solve while trying to stay inconspicuous during soccer training! TFTC
Ohhh that's what was meant by puzzle. Here I was trying to open it "normally". What a dolt tftc. Nice Quick find!
I just got my third jab, just down the road from here.
Afterwards, I came here for the quick find. I did manage to open the container. You just need to solve the maze to get it open.
Thanks kangadrew72 for the cache.

We decided to head to this one first to try and turn the frown upside down. OHC had mentioned that we would probably walk up and see it straight away. . . and as she finished the sentence. . . . there was the cache.
We attempted everything we could think of including some rather unconventional methods but were unable to get the container open. We have taken photos as proof of find with said proof forwarded.

A perfect day for a spot of after-work caching with Geoturtle37.
This was our first stop. We’d previously had no luck here, so returned to try for a redemption.
I jokingly said we’ll probably just walk straight up to it, and guess what….. We walked straight up to it.
Tried everything to open it, to no avail. It is jammed tight. I have photos of the cache if the CO would like proof we were here, and happy to change log if we have to.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, kangadrew72

Detoured here on the way home for an extra cache. Much easier to solve when I wasn't facing into the glaring sun! Tftc
TFTC, we love a good field puzzle.
Found instantly once at the go , but took a little while longer to open the cache.

Felt a bit dumb… so many people saying how easy it was but no such luck for me bit of a downer way to end a day of geocaching but nevertheless still very fun.
A favourite for me. Took me a little bit to understand how it worked to open it. TFTC
Apologies for the late log. Tarbit was in Tassie for a few weeks so I planned a Sunday of caching with SirJ-Oz whilst ensuring to stay in our revised (15km) limit. Today we just looked for an overlapping area where we both had a few unfound and then targeted whatever we came across in the nearby suburbs.
After a few finds nearby we headed on to this one. SJO had a historic DNF here so came by to try and put that right today. Parked nearby and headed in on foot to where the wizard exorcised his previous failure with a quick find. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache kangadrew72.

Find #4945. Found @ 11:49 with Annoying Tarbit
After many virtual puzzle solving evenings over lockdown Annoying Tarbit and I have solved lots of puzzles in various places around the state. With the travel restriction boundary still being 15kms from home, and with both of us being fully vaxed, we decided to meet up for some exercise... and ignore all the caches that we'd solved and hit some others that were in our overlap area.
I'd previously DNFed this hide when it was missing, so today AT suggested that we rectify that. And that we did. I spotted the hide immediately on getting to GZ, but my guesstimation of GZ (without getting out my GPSr) was off initially.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

Quick find with Prin666cess! Loves cycles that are a little different than the usual. TFTC
Took me no time to find the cache here, however the recent replacement has caused me to spend an overly long time trying to get this one open. Up, down, left, right and various combinations of all of those. Sure enough, perseverance soon paid off and access was granted.
The business soon done, but again this took sometime to close the container, not as long to get it open.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 5 TB.

I DNF'd this one a little while ago, but it seems it was genuinely missing at the time, so I can't blame myself. But finding myself in the area on this fine Friday afternoon, of course I had to go and find the newly replaced cache.
The find itself was quite easy, in pretty much the spot I had expected it to be previously. The trick was getting to the log. After a bit of time doing what (I later discovered) the description told me not to, I changed tactic and solved the problem. It still took a little patience and persistence, but all came good. TFTC

Replaced with a tricky cache. Enjoy and please do not force it - just have patience.
After finding the new hides Golf Ball and Hole in One I set off for the walk to this one. Halfway there I looked at the recent logs and concluded it was probably gone. I turned around and started back, but then decided to go ahead and have a look anyway.
Yep, this one is definitely gone I would say. I passed by here a few weeks ago, but didn't stop and look as we were still in tight restrictions and I didn't want to be doing anything suspicious. Since then there has been a lot of slashing, mowing and pruning. The grass I remember around the most likely tree has gone and it has had several of the lower branches pruned off. There is really nowhere left to hide a cache here.

Out to enjoy thank you day before the rain sets in for the weekend. Up early to make the most of the day and get the steps up.
Tried to locate this one but no luck. Either cache blindness or the recent mowing and slashing has had an impact.

Found your cache pretty quick, just walked back to my car, saw a Magpie walking towards to the cache, he probably checking to make sure the cache is safe!!!
Barked up the right tree thanks to excellent coordinates, then noticed the tell-tale container pretty quickly.

Four years ago on *Leap Day* I "found" 5 caches and so later on when I wanted to qualify for a Double Calendar challenge, I was surprised to discover that I still needed to find one more cache on 29th February... and then I read the *fine print*... I needed 2 physical caches and 4 years ago, 4 of my 5 "finds" were events .
I wasn't going to make the same mistake this Leap Year and so after attending 2 events this morning, I was out this afternoon chasing physical caches... in the end I totaled up 4 Traditionals, 2 Mysteries and 2 Multis... that should cover most challenges for the next 4 years .
Thanks **kangadrew72** for putting this cache out here.

Had a couple of hours with nothing planned. A lovely day so decided to check out a couple of caches not far from home, this being one of them.
This took me a little longer that it should. Found the challenge here was finding the right tree.

Ants! Wish I'd read the logs before finding this one. Sure it's not on the same scale as seeing a snake but snakes don't hide inside cache containers usually. A quick shake sorted that problem, and then I could sign. Thanks kangadrew
I went to the wrong tree but luckily enough Grub62 found the right one. Then she had to de ant the cache. TFTC.
Out tonight with Bunadoorian to find a cache. This one I found easily. Ants had set up home - but I shook them out. TFTC Kangadrew72
Thanks for the cache and for bringing us to this spot on a beautiful day.
Request to change the description though.

GeoQuinn checked one tree, I checked the other. I came up with the prize on this one. Nice, quick fine. TFTC
Hi. TFTC. Fyi description still says "Cache is a flat 400ml Sistema container chocked full of goodies." I assume it was the fake rock?!
Watched my granddaughter play soccer nearby. Been searched for 20 mins and no luck for me. Cheers
DNF @ 16:26 with The Good Lady Wife.
The kids were returning from ScoutHike nearby, but we were a smidgen early so decided to look for a cache or two. Unfortunately both were DNFs.
There appears to have been some recent clearing up and pruning of the trees in the area. That combined with the rating and logs mentioning the ease of finding made us accept walking away with no smiley.
Thanks anyway kangadrew72.

A DNF for me. The bag of rubbish mentioned in a previous log was still there, and it was 3m away from a seemingly perfect hiding spot that lines up the clues and co-ords. But no cache for me.
On our way home from the LEGO club Christmas celebration I looked for a cache which wouldn’t take us too far off our route. It’s still warm and steamy after yesterday’s scorching temperatures, so I didn’t want a cache which required much physical effort. This fitted the bill perfectly. A quiet suburban area with only a few Muggles in the centre of the oval. There was unfortunately a large bag of rubbish within 3m of the cache and the cache was on the ground in full view of anyone likely to remove the rubbish. I hid the cache in a slightly less visible area close to GZ and left. Perhaps I should have used the Snap, Send Solve app to get the rubbish before the contents get scattered.
Thanks for an easy find for a tired cacher who still wanted to make use of our trip to The Big Smoke.

Everyone was watching the footy match when I reached the GZ, and that gave me time for an unobserved short search.
