On trip to check out the last of the wild flowers. These caches are a wonderful way to learn the local history. TFTC.
Find number 14302 at 5:27:43pm on Thursday the 3 October 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leisurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back.Well, WA Goes Big is done for another year and we are on our way home again now, via Perth, Kalgoorlie and the Nullarbor but slowly over the next five weeks Today we are heading for a side trip up to Geraldton chasing LGA's and a few special caches. We are heading up today and back tomorrow.Yeah, this is the other main target for this quick side trip and it was a quick find **Thanks for placing this cache jowiba**---*WOW, so much happening at home in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
On our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road to Perth now .On the Road after Katherine we have seen Edith Falls, Kunnurra and Bungles Bungle. Finally we cross the Pentecost-river to enter the Gibb RiverRoad . A lot to see like Emma Falls, El Questro, Mitchel Falls, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge .Now return on the sealed road again . Further over Derby, Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha, Karijini NP, Exmouth and now down the coast to Perth .After Coral Bay, Carnarvan and Monkey Mia, we headed further on the road and stopped for this one .Took a time to grab .TFTC# 17'328
Pulled in with a view to completing the adventure lab but it seems to be gone? At least there was a cache to grab.
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT then over the top of WA to Perth.Interesting detours to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Hells Gate, Nhulunbuy, Wadeye, Litchfield Nat Park, Wyndham and the Gibb River Road.TFTC.Did this when the rain seemed the heaviest. A quick sign and race back to the car.
Stopped in for the AL with its handy trads by each one, but the steady rain is a huge change from our hot sunny days. Oh well, just water right!
Thanks for sharing your history. Also, Thanks for the best stop of nice outhouses on our trip!
First cache in the Binnu AL trail. Very well done combo of trads and AL's, at interesting sites. Fave points for all--------------Decided to do a long road trip, flying in from Canberra, starting and finishing the drive in Port Hedland. It was a long day of flights, followed by 7 days of lots of kilometres. I stopped at every 'point of interest' along the way, I wanted to miss nothing! Earthcaches, Virtuals & AL's are always very good waypoints for interesting things as well.Every night I downloaded a bunch of podcasts and these made the kilometres fall away. This was the first outback road trip I have done where I saw more emu's than kangaroos. The wild camels walking in the desert were also very cool to see. My trusty swag served me very well.
Finally after yrs travelling up and down, we stopped here for a rest break, and lo and behold, my writing stick was nowhere in sight in the car! Will stop by and sign on our next journey in a few months!
A nice quick PaG on the way North. I found your D1.5/T1.5 Micro Traditional called SideTracked - Binnu on 19 September 2023. It was find #18452 for me. Thank you jowiba for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Western Australia.
Had to circumvent the cache guardian, luckily AnyMules does not get concerned with these creatures! Cache was soon in hand and log signedTFTC jowiba. Found on 19 Sep 2023 at 11:13 am. Find # 2672
Bit of a driving break, we upset the cache guardian oops. Breeze was a bit cool today so a very fast log and back in the car. TFTC
Thanks for the quick find sorry couldn’t log because mum and dad were rushing to go
Quick find for the youngest Geodaughter. She found it before I'd even gotten out of the car! Found with Redrobbin25. Tftc
We are having a little bit of time off from helping our friends in Nanson we decided to head north to try and collect a few more LGA's and Lab caches and anything else that pops up on screen.
We have done quite a few SideTracked caches over east but this is our first in Western Australia. A caravan had pulled up just as we spotted the hide so we took in the interesting information about this siding while waiting for them to leave after which the cache was located right where we thought that it would be and our name has been added to the extremely full logbook.
Many thanks jowba for showing us this location and the hide.

After a long journey north to watch the eclipse, I am now winding my way back home. This was one of the caches I stopped off at on the drive today on the drive down to Geraldton. No one else here when I pulled the car in so was easy to quickly locate and replace the cache Interesting to read the information board, and awesome to dip my Sidetracked Hider geocoin - it doesn't happen too often since leaving the UK! No problems here today - TFTC
Found the cache just where it should be.
Heading north for one mintue of moon shadow. This is one of stops on a long journey.

Nice easy find. Let's some extremely small swaps in there. Not much space. Lol. Please only take swaps if you are leaving something in its place. Cheers LE and Cookie Dog
Driving back from up north, heading to Geraldton. Quick stretch and pee break. Oh look a cache is here lol tftc
After spending the night in Billabong Motel Meadow I was taking on the last stage of my journey from Exmouth to Perth . As I was heading further south weather was constantly deteriorating, but it was still good enough for several cache stops . Thanks for giving me so many chances to pause my long journey and of course

Travelling from Kalbarri to Morawa, this cache was one of the very few on the way, so even though it was raining, a stop was made to find this chap.
Not found where I first expected to find it, but follow the coordinates. Cache and log are good. This would make a good cache in the SideTracked series, and could be converted. TFTC jowiba.
Day 2 of our 3 week journey north, we stopped to find this cache whilst topping up with fuel... Despite quickly discovering the prize, the nearby muggles made signing the log harder than it should have been

Great to see one out here! Think there’s a creepy crawler residing within the vicinity of this cache.. proceed with caution TFTC
Day 25 of the long road trip from Perth to the Townsville Mega via the southern states and then back to Perth again via the northern part of Australia.Today was basically Caching from Northampton to Geraldton and then direct home. This cache found without problems. The log was signed and the cache returned as it was found. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for cachers to find.
Thank you! On a road trip to Exmouth and back. Happy to find the cache here on a super rainy day.
We stopped by the plaque on a lovely drive north and found this one. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks jowiba for the cache.
Well hidden easy find on our way home from 2 weeks in the Pilbara.
TFTC, and happy Star Wars Day!

A nice quick find here. Read the plaque and enjoyed our history with these wonderful markers all over the state acknowledging long gone times. A very important task and I thank them for it. I also love that caching gives these places a new life for so any people to learn about them and there history. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Baldivis.
Caching our way home from Marble Bar we stopped to grab this one. I parked where I thought would be the likely spot then looked at my gps and it was showing 0m. So we made the extremely short walk to gz and it turned into a nice quick park and grab except for the nearby muggles but they were busy doing their thing. We signed your log and returned your cache back to where we found it. Now onto the next one. TFTC jowiba.
I stopped here for the night on the way to Karratha. This geo was a nice quick find exactly where I thought it would be. One very happy finder here, great history spot too. TFTC
Road trippin’ : another quick find due to over-enthusiastic whipper snippering so we repositioned a few rocks. TFTC
Pulled in but then had to stealthily grab the cache, sing and again stealthily return to avoid the eyes of some muggles who had stopped nearby. TFTC
Had sat having morning tea for a while before realising we were literally parked a metre away from this cache TFTH
I am not sure if I have tried to find this one before but today was a quick find. I think the other one was on the commorative wall.
This was find number 5 for the day.

I should have read the cache title before poking the spiders with a stick on the massive sign.
My first find in the Shire of Northampton too.

Greetings from Scotland. We are making our way from Carnarvon to Kalbarri today on our way back to Perth. We stopped for this cache to break the journey and to have some lunch. There was a car parked nearby when we stopped so we ate our lunch before going for the cache. As luck would have it another car arrived just as the first one left. We had to be a bit more patient before we could head out to find this one. We were fairly sure where it would be hidden and when the coast was clear for us to search we headed straight to the right spot.
*This is our 10413th logged find. Found at 13:38 hrs.* TFTC
