Logs
Checked logs upon arrival and wasn't keen but 8 yr old insisted. Gave GZ a good going over but without success.
Headed into Basso this arvo to get my caching fix for the day. Bit of a flop in the end with 3 DNF's and only one smiley.
Been here before but still couldn't locate the cache, lots of bugs but no bison. Unless of course I was at the wrong tree. [?]
guitar81 I couldn't find your cache, this was my 1st DNF for the day. I did have 1 finds today so all is not lost.

The GZ was out in the open area, so I assumed the whole park was where I had to look. No luck, but it was a pleasant place to stop and reflect and rest up for the hike back to the train station. One of the trees dropped a walking stick for me, so it wasn't a complete loss!
Came back and this time... SUCCESS!
It had a bunch of spiders eggs sacks on it which I cleared off, and the spot it is in seems to hold water when it rains as the log was a bit soggy and rusty.
I have moved it to a different spot that should not get bugs or rain. It is still in the same tree, just a different part of it.

Headed to Bassendean this arvo to see if I could track down some of the local caches. Seems there are few more in this area than last time I was here.
Parked up[ near GZ here and there were a couple of muggle kids kicking a football in the park as well as a couple of separate groups of inquisitive neighbours. I tried to conduct a discreet search while pretending to be on the phone but felt a little exposed so decided to leave.

Several hidey holes for caches in this nice big fig tree, but I found it easily. Signed log. Thank you for placing this cache for us all to find and enjoy.
I enjoyed a long afternoon tea in Maylands with MDV who was having a day off. I headed east to log a cache for the day and this was the chosen one. A nice quick find of your speciality style of cache. Thanks guitar81.
A quick find with iluvtrekking early this morning. Hope we didn't disturb a Sunday morning sleep in by the locals. Thanks guitar81
A quick and easy find here in a lovely little park. I was a bit lucky actually as I spotted part of the ring pull for the bison tube. There was no one around this afternoon so that helped in my search as well.
Thanks for the cache guitar81!
Thanks for the cache guitar81!
A straightforward find with richlink on our way out to breakfast. Thanks for the cache guitar81.
As we continued our Sunday cache find trek in the rain the kids decided they needed a 'park' one! We headed to this one and with cache in hand and log signed it was time for a bit of park time or really just a swing time but fun just the same and of course a place for a leg stretch before we got back into the car to head t the next one. Thanks for the hide.
Doing a little caching in the area and was happy to find this one. It was a little exposed do covered it with some leaves on replacing. All dry and in good condition. Thanks guitar81 for the hide.
Nice quick find. On a hunt for some quick park n grabs. With teagzd97 and tbad08
