Today we were out and about with Neville_devil and Ausfox; our plan was to grab as many mystery cache as we could to help us with the Monthly Mystery challenge.
With no more solved mysteries left for us to find we turned our attention to other unfound caches in the area. with the day ending and darkness fallen we decided that we would start heading for home and decided that going home along the Melton highway to grab this series would be the way we ended the days caching. Thank you geniejoan for the series

The plan for today was to grab as many Puzzle caches as possible with Simsfamily and Neville Devil through Werribee, Williamstown, Sunshine and everywhere in between.
As we had exhausted the puzzles in the area we continued on with Trads.
On the homeward strech no after cache for 12hrs, just one more.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache geniejoan

Needed a few caches to round out the months' finds, so I headed out along the Melton Highway.
A nice cool day for a few caches, although the road was busier than I thought it would be.
I'm glad I read the description before I started - thanks for mentioning they are on the LHS on the way out.
My first for the day and a quick find. Always nice to do that, sets a good precedence.
Unfortunately the log book is soggy, and needs replacement.
Thanks, Robmc.

I remember when there were just paddocks around here. Now, it's the urban sprawl. Log book is damp. TFTC
This one was a tricky one as there was a family sitting in their garage over the road in plain view. Not sure why when it rained and hailed most of the day with it being around 10 degrees. Cache was located and a very damp log was signed even though it was secured within 2 zip lock bags. With intentions to do this series, we ended up pulling up stumps after this, ready to return another day. TFTC

Out with omegaman1971 grabbing a few smilies in the area and generally just following our gps and having a few laughs. We started here and worked our way along the road making this a quick park and grab, thanks geniejoan for the cache.

Another day chasing 10 caches for the day, some before work and some on the way home... Taking the slow road home, head west to go east...
Nice quick find but who the hell is watching through all those windows?
**Thanks for placing this cache geniejoan**

Easy find, signed log, tnln tftc cache full of water, drained and put back, may need maintenance
TFTC, travel along this way every 2 weeks to pick up my kids. Usually during peak hour so no time to stop to look for caches. This time was to drop geoson off at a party so took our time getting there and found a few caches along the way.
Found this series on a wet day, hard to get off this very busy road in the slushy conditions but perservered and soon had log signed tftc.
Aaahhhh progress.
Landing within a few metres of gz I quickly spotted the cache. What, that's not a cache, just a set of junky's scales. Looking a little harder and another smiley is added to my map. TFTC geniejoan.

We decided to pick up some caches today on our way to attend the event being held at Melton. We really enjoy a series of caches that are easy to find as we travel the highway. There was no problem locating the cache and our name was soon added to the list of finders. Thank you to geniejoan for creating this series.
Found this with lizard1983 on the 16/04/16. Was a nice and quick find. thank you
For a change we are doing a series in order!! Lol!! We came down here for lunch and then headed this way home. Tftc
Found as we headed home to Ballarat after the youngest member of our team had competed in a Judo competition in Melbourne, we took the "scenic route" home, after stopping for a drink we managed to convince muggle hubby to stop for some searching he agreed so we took the opportunity to try for this series. On such a busy road we had a break in the traffic and went on the hunt, The log was retrieved, signed and replaced as found, and we got back into our car before the next line of traffic. Thanks geniejoan for giving us a reason to stop along this road
Thought we would head out west today for a bit of a drive and grab some caches along the way. Our first for the day. It seems the cache now has a little friend who is stuck to the side of the container, he will cause no harm though. TFTC.
A quick find in the dark and rain as I headed home from a few days in Sydney - finding this will help get me towards qualifying for a different caches (2 different states on the same day on 20 occasions). Many thanks
Trying to do some quick finds on our way to Bacchus in the rain today. Hopefully the rest of revenue road is as quick as this one.

Well, I said I'd be back! I just didn't expect it to be so soon.
As I suspected when logging the last two in this series, it's a darn sight easier tackling them in the outward direction, thus avoiding having to cross this sometimes scarily busy road. Sometimes, I swear, if you actually stick to the speed limit, the impatient drivers will plow straight over your vehicle. Which I guess makes it the ideal revenue raiser for the State.
This morning, I'm on my way up to a weekend of events by the Murray, but in true Geocaching fashion, have begun by travelling at right angles to the direction of my destination. I think it's going to be a long day... just hope this drizzle doesn't last long.
One down, many to go. Thanks, geniejoan.

School holidays are here and the weather is nice - time for some geocaching. A cool little series along a stretch of road that is getting busier and busier by the week. I first came to the big winery/restaurant for a work Christmas Party - probably 15 years ago - this area may as well have been Sydney. It felt like it was sooo far away - not any more! Adding a favourite point to this cache to represent the whole series - very well done! Thanks for the cache, and the series geniejoan.

Co ords were a little out, but after a short time we soon had the cache in hand. Had to use some discretion with the houses near by. Thanks
On our way home from the airport this was a quick grab with Tomstache and Motndarg for the 2 states challenge. Thanks geniejoan.
I had to go to the pool shop today, so I took the loooooooong way around to ensure I could collect a few caches on the way. This was the second; felt a little suspicious sneaking around near houses, but luckily wasn't seen and a quick find made. TFTC
We'd earmarked this series as the last ones we look for this afternoon and we weren't disappointed with the results for the time spent on them.
These were all fairly simple finds, including Tyred, which reminded me of the Sty's in SA, which you can smell a mile away. All in all we logged them as quick drive by's.
TFTC geniejoan.

Found with my Granddaughter in tow, this makes search harder, but when it is found so much joy shown and eager to get to next one, thanks geniejoan for these hides, we loved finding them
Those are some power lines!! Took a minute to spot as it wasn't where I thought it would be. Silly me.
Passing through for the nearby event while on the way to Warrnambool, so will take the opportuity to grab a cache or 2. Made this quick find with Snap Happy.
Thanks geniejoan for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

Found with Mrs Blue Duck after a morning at Calder Park. Although this is RRR #1 we did this one last, on our way home. Great little hiding spot and an easy place to pull up in. TFTC and the hide.
TFTC. Heading back to Ballarat after a shopping trip and called past to grab a few smilies.
This was a quick stop and grab, the cache was hidden well and in good condition. TFTC
