Find # 16066Down in Melton to hit up some caches and Adventure Labs. But main reason was to go motorbike helmet shopping. After checking out a couple of bike shops in Melton, I headed around town grabbing ad labs. But then decided to head to Keilor to check out a few more bike shops... With shopping done I headed back to my original plan, "cache around Melton" but with the detour I was able to add a few other finds to my day.A nice quick park n grab.TFTC geniejoan
Quickish easy find. Unsure what RRR means near a busy road! David and Simone
after a whirlwind trip to DiggersRest to watch the steam train pass by, we dropped in here to grab a fittingly named cache on our way home. Quick find. tftc
After seeing the Choo Choo train today, it seemed somewhat appropriate to visit this cache!! Thanks geniejoan and clear skies from TeamAstro. Out in the PeuGEOt today with little Geocache hunting in our old home area of Gisborne/Sunbury.A good example of how to place a cache on a busy road.TFTC
2nd one in this series for the day and again no issues at GZ. Log signed and I was back on the road to Sunbury. Thanks again geniejoan....cache all good.
Dropped in to grab a cache and noted some of the previous logs.Donutholes was definitely right about this area needing a CITO. It was an absolute rubbish tip.Fortunately the cache was easily spotted amongst the trash and the log was soon signed. Thanks geniejoan for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. It was a great day out!----------------------------------------------------------Have you found all of the 12 Days of Cachemas series? Heading home from visiting friends in Melbourne, we noticed these caches and decided to give it a go. We were not sure how wed go with such a busy road but the erfect spot had been picked and we could easily and safely get off the road and make a quick find. TFTC
A quick park and grab was had here. I really should have brought a garbage bag with me and done a small CITO in this area. Cache is in good condition and ready for its next visitor.
Thanks for the cache

There's so much traffic! It'd take a Cachemas Miracle to not cause an accident trying to stop for a cache here
Thanks heaps, geniejoan!

This cache was a quick and easy find near a very busy intersection, so a quick dash across a couple of roads was required.
Very busy road today took me awhile to cross over, but I made it. Grabbing a few caches on the way home from caching in Sunbury and Diggers Rest today. Great hide. TFTC
While staying in Melbourne we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Had to make a trip to the airport today so decided to do a few caches on the way home. My usual way through Sunbury was held up by a traffic accident so i looped around via m80, found a new lot of caches to tackle and away i go. A busy road but a quiet nook for the hide with lots of possible locations, nice one
Having managed to wangle a bit of time off we decided to head to Ballarart early to grab a few of the geo tour caches before going to the events tomorrow.
With a new lab out in the area we took a slight detour to Sunbury and then had a great time picking these up as we wandered our way back to the other freeway. This wouldn't be a bad road for revenue raising being basically a country road with only an 80k limit that drops down to seventy. It wouldn't be hard to get caught if you weren't paying attention.
We couldn't believe how long these caches have been out and we left it so long that half the series has been archived but a t least we got these four today and our name has been added to the logs.
Many thanks geniejoan for these caches.

This actually took us a little while to find under the trees and bushes. We kept getting distracted with the rubbish from the roadside. The cache was well hidden and once found we had a bit of a fright with a baby huntsman protecting the cache lol. Thanks for a great find.
Found it.. my phone battery died as I arrived at GZ, so I parked and went for a hunt! I was in a rush, so was unable to do more, but I'll be back to hopefully find the rest on this series! TNLN.. No Pen or Pencil, lucky I had one in the car!
Out and about yesterday on a little errand that had been postponed for a few month. Socially isolated myself in my car, apart from getting out on a couple of occasions to stretch the legs and see if my pen worked. TFTC geniejoan
Day 11 of this years Christmas holiday trip. Canberra to Adelaide to Melbourne to Canberra collecting answers to several of the windmill cache multi's. Today was a trip along back to smokey Canberra. A quick find, thanks geniejoan.
Out at night keeping my little streak alive, thanks for this cache.
easy find, good place to park.

28 August 2019 1:25 pm ,like a scene from Hitchcocks "Birds"!! Stick close to the trees and you may not be attacked...or wear a hard hat!
Found, swooping magpies made it a funny experience but over all all looks to be in good order. Thank you
ARGH!! MAGPIES!!! EVERYWHERE!! I swear they are building their nests with what's left of the hair on my head!
A nice quick find here while making my way along C754 to my intended destination. TNLN SL TFTC

After nearly a month of no real time to hunt, RGSBruce and I were making a last minute run at finding enough caches to earn a souvenir (two today as it turns out) and did a little mini-power trail around Plumpton and Melton today. This was the first in our run. We were both very surprised at the amount of trash around GZ, particularly the blue 44 gallon drum .
At least the cache is in good condition.

Attempted this again in full sun. Crawled around the rubbish and yes got it. Red drum now missing. TFTC
Found while taking an alternate route due to a stack on the freeway. Good chance to grab cache.
On our way to pick up our grandson, we stopped to collect a few caches. Quick find. Thanks geniejoan
On our way back to Adelaide we wanted to find a few caches and were very happy to be able to pick up this series. None of the traffic paid us any attention. A quick find at GZ. TFTC
Is it just me or is caching better without kids? My daughter cries everytime someone else finds them which is most of the time!
Quick find disappointed about all the rubbish around here maybe we should organise a cito along here.

Out and about for Easter celebrations, so grabbed a few caches on the road trip home. This one nearly had us, i was worried among all the rubbish we may not find it, but after a thorough look we managed to find it, along with the reasonable sized spider that took up residence on the cache, and then another small (or baby one) that was living on the log book. TFTC
Today we were out and about with Neville_devil and Ausfox; our plan was to grab as many mystery cache as we could to help us with the Monthly Mystery challenge.
With no more solved mysteries left for us to find we turned our attention to other unfound caches in the area. with the day ending and darkness fallen we decided that we would start heading for home and decided that going home along the Melton highway to grab this series would be the way we ended the days caching. Thank you geniejoan for the series

The plan for today was to grab as many Puzzle caches as possible with Simsfamily and Neville Devil through Werribee, Williamstown, Sunshine and everywhere in between.
As we had exhausted the puzzles in the area we continued on with Trads.
On the homeward stretch now after caching for 12hrs, just one more. There were some suitable containers for the cache name at GZ, a 44 Gallon drum of racing fuel and another which was Methanol.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache geniejoan

Needed a few caches to round out the months' finds, so I headed out along the Melton Highway.
A nice cool day for a few caches, although the road was busier than I thought it would be.
No magpies around here today (must be finals time!)
A great gumtree though - lovely red coloured trunks.
Thanks, Robmc.

We had to park a little bit away from the GZ for this one due to how busy the road was. Wandered back and soon had this one. Nice quick find. Thanks,

Lots of shrubbery

After catching up with Mum & Dad for Mother's Day morning tea, we decided to head west for some caching - its been a while since we have done more than a few. As the road was busy, we kept the kidlets in the car for these while I got the exercise. We started at #4 for some reason - we will have to come back another time for the first 3 in the series. I was attracted to the series as I am a fan of the radio station 3RRR, but then reading the Geocache details, I realized the name was due to Revenue Raising.. I really hope none of that was occurring today.. as I am still recovering for a recent speeding fine for being 5kms over.. that was almost $200, so that's 40$ per km/h !! Thanks for the cache geniejoan!
TFTC, travel along this way every 2 weeks to pick up my kids. Usually during peak hour so no time to stop to look for caches. This time was to drop geoson off at a party so took our time getting there and found a few caches along the way. Thought that was a dead animal at first so used a stick to flick it off, then discovered it was just an old door mat!!
Eventually found this one. Took us a little longer than expected, but eventually we had it. Tftc
Another quick find as the coords are spot on like the others so far
Well thought out series as there is parking close by TFTC

Headed out to run some errands and took the geopup. Stopped to grab a few caches along the way. I've never had time to stop and collect this series, finally managed to stop and grab one. Will collect them all over the next few months. Many thanks for reasons to stop xx
We decided to pick up some caches today on our way to attend the event being held at Melton. We really enjoy a series of caches that are easy to find as we travel the highway. This one took a bit longer to find as the camo was good, however our name was soon added to the list of finders. Thank you to geniejoan for creating this series.
Kenare came out of the trees looking relieved!!! Lol!! The things we pretend to do when looking for a cache!! Tftc
People driving passed probably thought I peed in the trees as I was walking out!! Tftc
Kenare went in for this one. Talk about looking like a wee behind a tree was had!tftc
All good here, I was headed the 'wrong' way on the highway today but traffic was light enough to safely cross the road.
