Started this series way back in 2017 so it was high time to finish it! Enjoyed the drive, still a lot of water over the track but the flowers were magnificent. A lot of the logs are quite wet but we managed to sign them all.

Thanks Jinta29 for an enjoyable morning geocaching!

My GPS’er tried to push further into the bush but I got it.

Thanks jinta29 for another great series. I made 21 Procrastination Installation finds from 21 attempts. The roads are different from a few weeks ago when I started. There was small tree down over the track and the holes are now deep puddles. Stormageddon certainly shook the bush up.

Spot on. We walked right to it then found the cache as the GPS zeroed in.

Nice easy find once GPS settled

We set out to find the rest of the series along this track. It was an eventful day with one live scorpion found, a wasp nest in a tree - I was stung for the first time ever - 3 times . But all in all was a great day. We had 65 finds and one dnf.

We have been looking at this area for while and today we had the opportunity to give it a go. Our goal for the day was to find 100 caches so together with BigRyanFamily and their Prado we tackled the Stephen King and Procrastination series. I have always liked the Stephen King Books so this series was bringing back some memories as we made our way around.
Another quick find

Day 283 of our 366 day straight challenge. Out with ChrisRG to grab as many of the Stephen King and Procrastination series as we can, with the aim of 100 caches for the day. Sorry about generic logs but time is of the essence. TFTC Smile

After having been caching recently in suburbia, in parks and beach areas, it seemed like it was time to go bush caching again. so we decided to look for the series and some others along the roads where we have passed by caches before. They were mostly no problem to find and each log was signed, mostly by using just initials, and all were put back as found. Thanks go to the cache owners who put out all the caches we found today.

Out for a morning geocaching with me myself and I! Plan was to finish off the Procrastination Series, then finish off the Book Series, and grab any random ones on the way. And that's exactly what I did!! 57 finds, only a couple DNF's. Pretty happy with that! Apologies for the generic log, but there is quite a few of them!!

I started this series a couple of years ago and never got round to finishing it off. Today was the day. There's been fire through parts of this area but most caches were still intact. 98 finds today including the Stephen King series and a few others. Great day 4wding through the bush. Thanks Jinta.

Thank you! Out with papillon367 and Photo-Play for a little 4WD action. Happy to make the find here.

28-Dec-18
Teamed up with ullyssia and Photo-Play to tackle the Procrastination Installation series. Glad we used the Landcruiser as there were a few ruts on the roads that we needed the extra clearance for. A fire has gone through the area and a few caches were missing, several were damaged but most were still in place. Thank you for the hide jinta29.

One cold winter morning, two intrepid cachers set off to attempt to collect the Hidden Creatures Souvenirs…

My goal was to find at least 60 caches. I dropped my geobaby off at my muggle MIL’s house (MASSIVE thanks to you Ma! You’re the best!! <3), picked up my favourite geocaching buddy (aka Dad) and drove down the hill. We had already completed part of Jinta29’s Steven King series and I thought that I'd finish the rest, then finding the Procrastination Instillation series would net me enough finds to get the World Turtle Hidden Creatures souvenir. Fingers crossed.

Before we could get to our first find of the day, we had to do a little 4WDing. (Rather nerve wracking for someone who has only been a passenger and never the driver when 4WDing, but I did it Very Happy ).

And as usual when it comes to me and Fernio, there was a competition to see who could bag the most finds.

Me: 24
Dad: 10
DNF: 1

Found at 10:32:00 AM.

Wowee, what a day! Today rudi63 and I made plans to tackle the Procrastionation Installation series. So after getting picked up early for a Saturday we set off and found a couple of caches on the way with our first finds being around 0800 and last about 1430. After smashing out the Procrastionation Series with many variants of our names in the log books - some say wc & r63, some are our full names and some are stamped. Really depended on how we were feeling at each one [:o)] - we paused to consider our next move. Thankfuly we had rudi63's 4WD as although most of the track is passable by 2WD there are definitely some places where the extra 2WD really came into its own. Part way through the Procrastination Installation series we also stopped off to gather a night cache in the middle of the day [8]Twisted

The decision was made to start the Stephen King series and then turn off to grab the earthcache. Well that didn't work out as we passed under Nettleton Road when we thought we were level with it. Not to matter as we were flying along completing the series. We had one cache that was burnt out but rudi63 had a replacement that suited this sort of series in his car so the owner need not worry.

After a very enjoyable Stephen King series (they are awesome books as well) we made our way towards the Civilisation series earthcache. On the way I grabbed a couple of caches that rudi63 had already done, including one of the older caches in WA. Earthcache complete, we headed for home but first we went and turned a Sad on the Civilisation series into a Smile as well as stopping off for a couple of other easy grabs.

All in all a succesful day with 105 finds to each of us! Not bad considering I was thinking I would get about 40 today Big Grin

Thanks for the cache jinta29, it was cache number 2514 for me and was number 30 in my run of 105 finds and 0 DNFs for today's geocaching effort.

Cheers Cool

WinkBig GrinSmile[:o)]

Mr. Wileyclan and I decided to spend this fantastic Autumn Day caching in the Hills. Our plan was to complete the Procrastination Series, a good outing on any day. But with fairly accurate co-ordinates, the trusty Pajero and some determination, we clear the goal series and then also completed the Stephen King Series. Both were very enjoyable.

Today we also cleared some previous DNF’s, a few more SWH caches and one or two other random stop spots.

We used multiple methods to sign the logs, sometimes the stamps, and sometimes the pen. Some repairs were undertaken along the way. The book titles prompted some discussion on the pros and cons of the various plots, well at least for the ones we recognised
The track was in very good condition, but there were definite places that needed all four wheels driving to get beyond the rut.

Cool Thanks jinta29 for bringing me to this location. I found the cache at 10:32:00 AM. This was my Find 31 for today out of a Total number of 105 Finds and 0 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I returned the cache as I found it.

I have not been out caching for an age, so I roped in Rokadz and the fitzys for a boys day out on the road. This stretch of caches have been on my radar for sometime and today was the day.

Finding myself at 0900 with a few spare hours this morning, I finally stopped procrastinating and set off to find as many hides in this series before 1200

With a deadline in play, I set myself a time limit of 10 mins at each hide and was happy to say I found my self signing Procrastination 46 a little late @1215 with only 2 dnf's recorded for the day

Thanks Jinta29 for a very enjoyable morning, a fantastic series with a good variety of hides

*Headed out to do the Procrastination Series*...

A overcast day with a few showers and *rain* sometimes. Wink Most were fairly quick Park and Grab's but a few times I had to rely on the hint and that (thankfully) made them a quick find. A lot of puddles laying around and that made the drive more interesting. Managed to grab 55 Smile today with only 1 DNF Sad so a great day out.

A nice container in a lovely area.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment jinta29. Appreciate your effort. Big Grin

After deciding to have one last caching adventure with BecknMonts before she heads off to the dark side. I picked up Gabs1963 and we hit the frog and toad. We decided to meet at Blasted Rock and have some fun abseiling before deciding on some Procastination for the way back to what is home for tonight.

We all had a blast running around the bush finding hidden treasures in every nook and cranny with only two DNFs for the day. A few of these caches gave us a good giggle kept us entertained. Quite a few wet logs made it a bit hard to write on an some logs were quite full with no space to write and some were definatively soggy.

All in all it was a fun way to end our day after the drive down and a bit too much fun abseiling. TFTC jinta29

Miss-Placed and I came down to meet Becknmonts for one last caching adventure before she ventures further afield. We headed off from Gero finding a few geocahes along the way, we stopped at Moora for Breaky and with quite a few laughs along the trip down, we got there, We started the day by each abseiling down a small cliff.

Well its been a few days since we days this series and as usual I am late with my logs. Thanks for this series. It was such fun and to do it with familysteiner made it a great day out. I loved driving through I hope Alison did too. All caches were easily found with a couple that had been out in the open. We did place cache where we thought it should be at coords. Had a ball. TFTC

10-Nov-16
Ive been eyeing off this series for longer than I care to remember and so I was very excited that Orrsome Family was also free today AND had a 4x4 at the ready, as I doubt my Geocar (a people mover!) would have been able to successfully navigate parts of this track. Despite the forecast of a storm, the weather held off almost until we completed the series just under 3.5 hours after starting, with just a light sprinkle during our hunt for caches #40-46. Most caches were found easily with good coords and the supplied hints. A couple were found on the ground (one broken) when the hints clearly suggested otherwise, so we have replaced them as per the clues. 46 finds and no DNFs, then we carried on to do a few additional caches in order to round our tally for the day to 50. Apologies for the generic log, but thanks for this series, we had a great day. TFTC Smile

30-Jul-16
Decided to complete the Procrastination Installation series today. Not knowing what the track was like I decided to pack the mountain bike in the car and complete the series by bike. I think the car would have handled most of the circuit but there were some sections that would have stopped me. I drove up and parked the car close to number one then set off on my way. This was the twenty seventh cache found out of 49 for the day and was found at 12:33.
Its a great time of year to be out as all the trees are starting to come out in flower, lots of bottle brushes and wattles out in flower. With the forecast of rain I packed a spare set of clothes but was lucky as there was only one light shower during the run.
Thanks jinta29 for the great series.

We decided to come back Sunday arvo and knock the rest of this awesome series on the head. 31 caches today not bad!!

I really do hate generic logs as I feel they detract from all the COs work but I hope you will be ok with this today Jinta29 as there are so many Smile

We have really really enjoyed this series, the amount of different containers was just fantastic and even hours into this caching day our 4 kids got out the car every time anxious to see what the cache was hidden in. It was fantastic:)

Def favourite for the series and some along the way too. Thanks Jinta29 for the incredible amount of work you've placed into this series.

For any cachers behind us we did the entire series in a Dodge Journey SUV. It was a little harder with the monster puddles being winter and all but none the less we never had a single problem. Would recommend starting from the bottom end ( not the admiral road end) as there is a pretty steep rutted hill that would be really hard to get up without a 4x4. much easier going down.

This was probably the best Valentines day gift ever from Mr Luna Maya We spent a very enjoyable day doing the procrastination series Started south at #46 and finished at #1. We found all except one, which I am sure we would have found if had time to search longer. I was lucky enough to find some beautiful Path tags left by M4YB & Megawat60. In some of the caches we left Pathtags - Luna Maya white, MNS13 & most importantly our Forever Together tag especially for Valentines. Loved the bush, the variety of containers & the humour. Awesome series, we had so much fun. All logs signed. Doing generic logs - will use ** if anything different. Thanks jinta29

We decided to go for a relatively easy hop out-hop in series in the 40 degree heat. The Procrastination Installation series seemed to be the perfect choice, and it was not that hot up in the hills either.
Most hides were found straight away, only a couple of them giving us some hard time.
Unfortunately we did not have time to find all the caches, but we will definitely be back.
Thanks for all the effort you put in this series.

So the Procrastination has finally come to an end! The weather looked great, so off with m4yb and Me&B to stop procrastinating and find all 46. All well carried by Max the GeoUte.

So today was the day to turn that long streak of greenies into smileys.
Set off with Me & B and megawat60, and along the way, had a lot of laughs, got wet by rain , which was great, and ended the day with a 100% find.
Great bushland with a clear leafy ground cover most of the way, and nice variety of caches and distances from the road kept our interest all day.

Headed out for a drive through the hills with m4yb and megawat60 today on a lovely cool summers day to find a well placed series with a great variety of containers keeping us amused all the way. I was thinking of walking the series in winter with a drop off and pick up on either side but of course this way was much quicker and far less tiring Big Grin

Thanks for a great series jinta29

My bad!! Am now one and a half months behind in my logging - blame the puzzles - they have taken over my life! Anyways, better late than never.

Really enjoyed doing this series which I had been putting off, thinking my little Subaru wouldn't be able to make the grade. Ended up doing the entire series in geobuddy Mark's little Ford Focus - only one spot was a bit hairy, so no 4WD needed for any of it.

Was pleasantly surprised at the lack of rubbish along the way too, until we got right up to the last 10 or so on the northern end. We filled up the entire boot with rubbish from that stretch, so once again, we were good little geocachers, leaving the environment signicantly better than how we found it.

Thanks for putting out all these caches for us to find jinta29. Great day out.

12-Jan-16
Not having a 4WD makes some cache trails beyond our capabilities so when we had the opportunity to hitch a lift with Helbren and jlotsos to do this series we jumped at the chance. A great day, lots of laughter and a great mixture of cache containers. Thanks for the series Jinta29.

Even though i knew it wasn't real, still jumped when Helbren threw it at me lol TFTF

Teamed up with Granett today to stop procrastinating and tackle the Procrastination Series and a couple of others nearby. It was a hot day, but we started early, hitting Number 1 at around 0730 and finding the last one at around 1045.

It is a great series, with a large variety of containers, excellent co-ords in most cases and a really nice stretch of natural bushland.

Along the way we didn’t see any snakes, just a small kangaroo and a lazy bobtail sunning itself on the track.

We had a great run of luck, with success on each cache in this series. Thanks to the CO for this series.

Apologies for the generic logs.

Was discussing the Procrastination series with SVKR_WA a few days ago and we hatched a plan to come out today to knock them off. I had done a few previously on a reconnaissance run but it still left 40 or so for me to find today.

We set off early to try and beat the heat and had them done an dusted in just over three hours. Most of the co-ords were spot on with only a couple that proved a little tricky. A great series in a great area with some interesting containers along the way.

Got a bit of a fright from this one.

jinta29 I found your cache at 9:24am, this was the 25th of 42 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2649. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

I had the whole afternoon free for caching, and this is a series I've been wanting to do for some time, and after getting absolutely smashed by the sun yesterday today was a great day for a driving series with not too much walking. And what better day to do a series than the day after an owner maintenance run? I found the first one at 2:52pm, and the last one at 5:47pm, and then went on to pick up Gradem 1 - 7 as well before heading home. A great afternoon out.

Most of the caches were found without too much trouble, but the hint was invaluable for plenty of them and I was very grateful for the accurate hints as my GPS had a tendency to wander around a bit. Later on in the series I was regretting not having tweezers with me as I struggled with getting some of the logs out of the micro containers.

Thanks for a great series jinta29!

Wellsy had this before I even got there. Big Grin
I had been meaning to do this series since it was first published but had been putting it off.
Boxing day drinks saw a plan hatched and wellsy21 and I decided to make it happen.

I've always looked at this series on my map and sighed a little wistfully, not owning a 4x4 and wondering if I'd ever have the opportunity to get up there and check them out. Met up with Jackylegs44 and Roma308 in Byford to tackle some caches in the area and actually had no idea beforehand that they were planning on tackling this series until they arrived and saw they had the necessary toys - ahem - TOOLS, to get the job done. Looks like it was my lucky day! Big Grin

Overall we only had one DNF for the series. Coords were pretty good for the majority and the hints were handy in narrowing down the possibilities. Loved the variety in cache containers and almost jumped out of my skin for one or two of them.

Really enjoyed getting up into the peace and quiet of the bush for a day and enjoying the company of some new friends. TFTC, jinta29, cheers and big thanks for the series! Smile
