Thanks everyone for attending and to those who dressed up as pirates much to the amusement of the people walking by.

Our first even Victorian event! It was great to catch up with some names we had been reading about on Facebook, and had seen in caches found since we arrived on the 15th. Thanks to The Coffee's for organising the event.

Sorry for the late log.
We convinced EB Nano to do his bit and represent his tribe in the original pirate gear, so even though he was most disappointed that he was the only junior pirate in attendance, he was particularly chuffed to be awarded a box of chocolates. In true pirate style, he then began littering his wrappers, arrggggghhhhh!!
Thanks Coffee's for another wonderful event in great weather. It was wonderful to catch up with other pirates

Attended by Facitman with Rhinogeo at 10:00
After a satisfactory night at the MCG Rhinogeo and I got up "early" and enjoyed a cooked breakfast at South Wharf. The food was ok but the coffee truly hit the spot so we were well primed for attending a pirate adventure.
As we approached GZ we spotted a few men and women of the sea, A few hats, cutlass' and even a bodice!
A good chat and another failure in a FTF draw and the event was done.
Thanks Captain Coffee!

Mary & David were there. Arrrgh! The scurvy wench got tarted up for the big day, and ye know how she likes to socialise. Wonderful to see so many pirate friends there, and even a couple from sunny Queensland. Even so, Louise Ann's outfit left us all feeling very underdressed. Positively warm in such sunshine, and the caffeine hit from the nearby galley was very welcome. Great to see that there was a junior pirate there as well. Another excellent Event, and we hope that this becomes an annual fixture. A minor downturned lip came when we had to pay a ransom of 20 gold pieces to sail away afterwards, but we will return! Our thanks to The Coffee's.
Need an excuse to hold an event? You can't get better than this one, plus is meant I could dig out my wench outfit. Turns out I have put on fair bit of weight since I made this out fit back in 2007. Oh well, liberal application of a corset and some safety pins and it was all good. It all turned out for the best and was well worth the effort taking out the Best Dressed 'adult' Award. Go Me!!
After lots of chats about the up coming mega and all the things we have planned and only an hour after the event was supposed to have finished, I headed north to look for a tram and journey homewards. Not too many odd looks on the tram or bus (and of the 3 trams I had to catch)
Thanks for hosting Mr and Mrs Coffee!! and thanks for my prize

Such a nice Melbourne day for a ride so I headed into town along the yarra to meet up with this bunch of crazy sea dogs. Well done to those who dressed for the occasion. Enjoyed having a chat with other obsessed plastic hunters. Thanks to the coffees for staging the event. See ya at the Mega
Arr great to meet many seasoned pirates for the first time. As a first time attendee many made me feel most welcome.
I'm sure this new pirate will be seeing many of you at other events...
A shout out to Rhinogeo for my first ever pathtag. Thanks!

Make sure to visit Krispy Keeme 8 Whiteman st South bank for free doughnuts while in pirate costume, they're joining in the fun of ITLAPD.
Happy pirates day! What a beautiful day to come and chat with fellow cachers alongside the Polly Woodside ship. Thanks to organizers for making today happen. Dropped off a bus TB.

The day and the event could not have been more perfect. Was nice to meet you Rhinogeo, thanks for the path tag. Was good to see some familiar faces I hadn't seen in ages and Louise - GREAT outfit and a well deserved first prize! See you guys at the Mega. TFTE

It was a nice enough day, so why not head into the city for a bit of Arrrr pirate event. A decent attendance today with many also heading to the Ballarat tonight. We all chatted for a while, then did the FTF draw which I was lucky enough to win, followed by the obligatory group photo. Well done to those that made some effort dressing up.
Thanks to The Coffee's and Captain Caffeine for the event.

Attended 19/09/2015 10:15-11:15 Find #2749 . I don't need much encouragement to talk like a pirate so when I noticed this event and being in town for the footy last night, Facitman and I just had to come along
There was a good mix of old sea dogs and new mateys amongst the pirates ashore and we were blessed with fine weather and calm seas
Cheers Cap'n Coffee

A rather good turnout for this on a beautiful Melbourne day. We were impressed with the various pirate outfits. Many thanks to The Coffee's for organising this fun get together.
Arrrr.......A lovely day for an event and one not too far from home as well. After chatting to a few experienced and some not so experienced cachers it was off to find a couple of those city ones and then home again. May thanks to The Coffees for putting this one on.
What a fantastic day for a cache event. Well done to the Coffees for arranging the weather with the man up stairs! Nice to catch up with the old sea dogs and some new ones as well. Good to see a few pirates and a pirate wench as well.
Thanks to the Coffees for organising the event.

Yay a chance to meet the jolly hearty geocachers of Melbourne town. I came all the way from Christchurch, docked my ship just a stone's throw from GZ and soon spotted this fair gathering of fellow pirates. Great to meet you all and to see sharkiefan and kotukuSI from Nz. Thanks for putting on the event. Would love to see you at the New Zealand Mega next month in Christchurch.
Aaarrgh me hearties
Mr & Mrs Crackers will sadly both be working tomorrow in two different states so we will be unable to attend this event, have fun

Shame, I'll be flying from the UK that day, arriving in Melbourne at 8pm on Sunday...
I'm aiming to get along to this one. I'll only be able to drop by for about 15 minutes at the start though, as I need to be in Southbank at 10.30.
I should be abler to attend - will be in that neck of the woods briefly - in Melbourne this weekend from Christchurch.
It seems we will be floating further down the coast on the day.
Sadly we won't be attending.
Sadly we won't be attending.
We have set this event up so cachers can drive to the other Pirate event in Ballarat by Shamus1, http://coord.info/GC5YMR3.
Dont forget to log your will attend for both.
