In the area with Wayn0 so took our opportunity to grab this archived cache. We wandered through the bush and found the car wreck, searched around but couldnt find a cache, I then realised we were still 50m away from GZ!We continued on and found the right car wreck and soon found the cache. Visited and found with Davinells. An interesting area in a weird kind of way. Theres more than one wreck in here, oh dear. Thanks for the cache. Cheers
I remember noticing this puzzle cache a year ago when I was with jesswrigley MTB-ing around a nearby bushland. The puzzle's predecessor geocache had been archived, but with thanks to [chamad's 5/08/2020 log](https://coord.info/GL12842N8), this geocache's coordinates were provided that still allowed this bonus cache to continue and be found. So I updated this cache, and had it on my target/bucket list to be found another day. I checked around the map and wondered where this cache went, and so it was only this evening that I discovered it had been archived. Luckily I still had a copy of this geocache in my saved list, and after perusing the recent logs, it appeared that the geocache was likely still in situ and available to be found.
This evening, with a pizza dinner geocaching event occurring in Browns Plains, I thought I would take the opportunity to visit the vicinity. Following my drive after work through congestion, I made a few stops in Stretton's parks and reserves, before joining NZ visitors SethRaven and 2FlyTim and a locals' group at Pizza Hut. A group subset then took a short drive over to Parkinson Bushland, and targeted the night multi-cache [Parkinson's Curse - An Odyssey](https://coord.info/GC14JJW). After walking back toward our parked cars, I decided to take one last solo loop targeting an older geocache and a few others that had been on my geocache bucket list.
I made my way through the bush, and allowed the bushland to give me the chosen routes in the general direction, rather than fighting through patches of thinly spaced trees heading an exact direction. I got closer and closer, and eventually arrived at GZ. This certainly wasn't what I was expecting, and hence a rather large surprise! Perhaps an opportunity for #4 of the infamous Wreckt Adventure Lab series by [@Beardman75](http://coord.info/PRG2ADN) to be hosted here? So after thinking I'd be scaling trees given the Terrain rating, I had a good search around, and soon caught sight of the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, so it was a shame to see a cache archived. As others have mentioned, this location is certainly deserving for a geocache, so hopefully it can be repurposed in the future. Thanks forbiddenground for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

8 weeks ago we attempted to visit this cache and ended up calling the ambulance and having an overnight visit to the hospital for surgery to clean out the damage done by stepping on a stake in the bush. Today a group decided to check out this cache to see if we could find it. Yes. Names are now in the log.

TFTC smile 10736 a group attack was organised by Peppa Hatzofff rang and told me , so a quick dash to the south side, picked up Hatzoff and away we went,
There’s quite a long story to how we ended up here today…
The reviewers actions combined with Hatzofffs previous antics here made this a target for the day…
Having organised a group attack on Parkinson’s Curse I put out the call to look for this cache too…. Armed with some info saw Hatzofff, Grannysmith1947, Giraffe18 and all three Turmoils head into the reserve…
I had planned a longer route, but the more experienced members of the party said that there was a track here…
I don’t think we found a footpad, let alone a track… so after fording a stream we approached GZ… Soon after Grannysmith had the cache in hand…
I understand why this cache has been disabled, but I hope it can be adopted in the near future…
For me, this cache was about the journey… A story that involves an ambulance, 43 birthday parties, locking the keys in the boot of the car, breaking your friends sisters leg while she steals your fishing rod, and no matter how polite you are not getting any hints to a troublesome puzzle… All the while popping antihistamines as we danced through the bush…
I may or may not have gotten all the stories straight… tftc…

Nobody can find this geocache now without contacting a previous finder. Time for it to be changed or archived.
Was in this area ages ago but couldn’t finish this one. After a PAF we got the info needed. Was a nice stroll to GZ, and a quick find.

Wow this a fabulous hide just so you know & I found 2…. Count’em … 2 car wrecks nothing more to say
We had found this one’s predecessor some years ago before it was archived, but even then the numbers to read were almost impossible.
With a set of possible coordinates we headed to GZ and took awhile to finally home in on the goods.

I have set myself some challenges as I go caching, the trad a day and the cache a day challenges are my ongoing ones. Alongside of these are the quick challenges of a month or a series challenge. This particular cache was important to me as it was my 2000th cache, a new milestone.
The walk into GZ was easy as the area has been through a recent fire burn off so it was easy to see where I was going. I saw that the recent fire had not affected the area around GZ so it was a little walk around till I spied something that was fresh compared to its surroundings. Bingo, and with cache in hand I soon grabbed the log, happy dance about to start. With my name in the log and the log and cache replaced as found it was time for the happy dance. 2000th cache and another one crossed of the list for my 3rd loop, just 6 to go.
Thank you for placing this one here, all good with this cache, so excited to complete. Now it is time to search for a couple others in the area.

Four cyclists; ruzzelz, beardman75, bulldozer72 and me, enjoyed our morning riding from cache to cache through this nice quiet bushland today. Luckily, one of our group had found this one before and was able to navigate there from memory, so the first stage of this puzzle being disabled didn't stop us. He also had two wrong sets of coordinates, I should add! Nonetheless, we made it there safely and I managed to spot the container. Some discussion was had as the nature of GZ, with no clear consensus reached. TFTC, forbiddenground. =^.^=

After hiking up Flinders Peak with our overnight hiking / camping gear, we slowly made our way home, picking up random caches along the way. This cache was of interest to because it helps with the DT grid, and seemed pretty cool. GZ was great and the geokid made the find. Sunlight was starting to fade so we quickly made our way to a nearby cache and then back to the safety and comfort of Suzee.

Oz_Bean_Counter, Mini_Oz_Bean_Counter, Pprime and myself made it back down Flinders Peak in one piece, but a quick coffee was needed, while sipping our coffees we discussed if we were keen on grabbing the other caches we planned on getting while here, but we were all completely exhausted and didn't have the energy to climb another mountain, so we decided to make our way back home, but we decided to grab a few more easy to get ones on the way back.
What a cool place for a cache. I've had several like this in the past. No Drop Bears were spotted today. After the find, we quickly made our way to a nearby cache and got the hell of of here.

The traditional geocache that holds the co-ordinates for this is disabled and logged as having been removed four months ago. This geocache then is impossible too (without a handout from someone else)

This caches was on my wanted list for a long while but making the time to get it was a problem do today I decided to abandoned all other things I had on my to do list so that I could blank out another square on my D/T grid. Wandered through the bush making it longer than necessary and soon had that elusive cache added to my done list. TFTC

Had to PAF for coords because the puzzle piece was not at the neighboring cache. But teamwork is encouraged and supported by the majority of geocachers around the world.

After we had found the last cache, we returned the TOTT to the car, plugged in the details for here and saw it wasn’t too far away, so Mr 4ando thought that I wouldn’t get lost in that short distance or more correctly thought as I was with Mrs SP I wouldn’t get lost. We left him to strap down the ladder and Mrs SP and I headed in, thankfully she was with me as she was actually looking at a GPS, I myself was just following her.
Arriving at GZ it was only a quick search until the cache was uncovered. Walking back out we can hear music blaring…ok so he didn’t quite trust me to not be going in circles, the music was the breadcrumb to return to civilisation.

forbiddenground indeed! Seemed quite remote and hey presto there is a rusty old vehicle! Cache found in seconds much to our delight! Puzzle a bit harder!!! TFTC Fave point!
Collecting what was needed for this find, ventured bush to find the next classic just sitting there collecting rust. Expected it was going to take ages to find the hide but had the container in the first spot checked.
Have to admit the two drop bear caches were specifically targeted today as part of 25DT challenge. And the caches did not disappoint!! For the collective drop bear caches gotta award a FP but giving it to this one as it would have taken the CO ages to bring in and place this classic vehicle and the unloved time that has accumulated. Thanks for placing this cache forbiddenground.

Apparently wrong torch when reattempted drop bear cache. But some keen eyesight from geohubby and we were on our way. Maybe he has a sixth sense for drop bears. We got here, but I think it was too late, we arrived at a depressing scene, the vengeful marsupials has already pillaged and plundered, but we found the log book hidden carefully away, no survivors unfortunately. Headed out quickly before they return.
Being as I was in the area, and pre warned to bring a certain TOTT with me this morning, I was soon armed with necessary numbers for the bonus walk. Quietly so as to not wake the snoring killer-marsupials I trekked the required distance and made a relatively quick find. Upon returning to Suzee I saw she had successfully fought off any rambunctious renegades and you doors were still locked.

My 2nd last cache find for the day with a great bunch of friends. We bush bashed our way in and then found a track to get out - which is always the way!
After securing the pre-requisite cache for this one, the Planet Group made their way casually to GZ, avoiding spiders webs where we could... Not always successful I might add.
I did not expect to find what I did when we arrived at the final location. This has been here a while me thinks... On approach, I spotted a glimpse of the container and quickly moved in for extraction. Out with the log, in with the group name, the job was done and I was very pleased to be able to tick the two caches off.

During the week I was lucky enough to join up to planetary souvenir hunters party for the weekend. However, it was not the souvenirs that caught my attention but the target of the group of flash mob caches and a few other puzzles.
"Planet Group" meaning those of us chasing the planet souvenirs was used to sign the logs. The Group consisted of... Gunnie69, SaintsMadHouse, MonkeyMaker, E:), JacsTeam, Crew153 and myself (ruzzelz).
This was our last cache of the day. Thanks all fro the adventure

So a call was put out on Facebook for interested parties to get together for the planetary souvenir with the view of using the opportunity to work together and complete the vast majority of the Makku Mob caches. In the end there were seven eager cachers and a plan of attack was hatched by Gunnie.
The day started at extremely early hour to pick up my travelling companion and then trip out to Browns Plains. Along the way we collect a few puzzles, letterboxes and the odd traditional was thrown in as well.
A few soggy logs were replaced along the way, but for the most part everything was found in good nick.
The day was awesome, the company fantastic - but now I have earned a nana nap and will be lazy with a copy and paste log.
Thank you to all the cache owners and my fellow ‘planet group’ members, which is how we signed the logs to save space, for great day!

After finding the other cache which was a tricky climb, we didn't find the co-ords for this one.
While caching the other day with a previous finder, we were given numbers that might help us find this one. Out today to pick up a few caches and this was one of them.
Parked near the entry point and with stick in hand to clear spiderwebs and snakes (JIC) we ventured in to find the wreck.
Located it and also found the cache quickly. SL returned cache to its hide.
Thanks for an interesting cache or two.

We had trouble at the nearby traditional by not being able to get the reading for a new set of co-ords required for this, I think they are now well worn off over time. We even found a very dark hollow log to try the UV lamp but still no luck. So what to do, message CO, PAF & another & another and after reading previous logs decided to go bushbashing in search of a Drop Bear or two. Thinking it would really be a waste of time we all headed off to do a distant trad and low and behold we found something worth investigating and bingo - we found the guarded secret.

After climbing up a nearby tree I was only able to get some of the numbers required here. We were pretty happy with the S just nothing on the E. Luckily the GCer who come to see how I was going had solved this before. He had no corrected coords but could remember vaguely where it was. We headed bush to the S coords we had obtained and then a likely spot revealed itself. A quick search and the cache was located. Took a reading of where I was and some of the numbers resembled those scribbled on my arm from my lofty perch.
Not sure if it’s the dodgy quality of my TOTT or if the numbers are just fading. Maybe doing the climb at night would help.
Thanks for the fun idea and loved the final location.
NOTE: No bears where harmed in the finding of this cache

Checking that vehicles locked and even more Vegemite applied off we go armed with the hopefully correct co-ords. Attacked it from the railway line side and headed off into the bush. Encountered a few spiders on the way but us pommies are getting the hang of it now. The "structure" soon came into view and we thought cant be that can it, but GPS soon confirmed it. Cache located and signed and then return to the hopefully safe cars. TFTC From the UK and my last fav point.

Woohoo! We returned to the first "WP" today. After a lot of doing this and this, taking turns and discovering a bit each, we finally had some coordinates to work with. Not very certain, but worth a try. So off we went. The coordinates we had extracted were off a few metres but a look at the cache page made clear where the cache might be. So many places to hide a cache. But as another surprise of the day the container was clearly visible on the ground. Again, we put it where we think it belonged (not so many options).

After completing the climb I plugged in the numbers and saw they were in striking distance so off I went.
I wanted to keep my eyes on the tree tops in case there were any drop bears lurking, but all the spider webs, and more importantly, all the spiders concerned me more. I dodged and weaved through the bush with the GPS playing silly buggers. I was within 30 metres when it bounced back out to half a kilometre. Oh great, I thought, and while waiting for it to settle again I looked about and saw something interesting through the trees.. haha thats gotta be it, I thought with a giggle. How on earth did that get here??
Away went the phone and I went to investigate.
A nice easy find in the end. Thanks forbidden ground for the fun here today. What a great wee adventure. I grabbed the travel bug cache kinzey thing to continue its journey.

Well after the team's scramble at the previous cache (with 1MinnieMooJnr, 1GiantPanda, NyssaFlutterby, Dora the Explorer and Venn Family), we headed a little more relaxed towards this one, being sure to stay away from the edge of the drop to the railway in the dark. Found a nice little geotrail and headed toward GZ with the kids more worried about "slender man" than drop bears here, when all of a sudden something caught Nyssa's eye in the dark. Thankfully neither Slender Man nor Drop Bear we knew we had found where we needed to be and all scrambled to find what we needed to find. I came up trumps pretty quick on that and logbook was all passed around quickly for signing while 1GiantPanda admired the structure. Cache replaced we headed back to the cars and chatted for a while planning a couple more caches over the next few days. Thanks for the cache forbiddenground, we certainly all enjoyed our venture tonight. Now to head home and remove those irritating bits of tree that are still jabbing at me thru my clothes from the first drop bear attack!

After climbing the tree in the dark, we then had a fun walk through the bush to find this one.
I have no idea where it was. I get really disoriented in the bush at night but we got there and I figured out what the hint meant and Nyssa made the find.
After signing the log, we made our way out a completely different way to how we came in but we eventually got back to the cars so all good.

Great fun enjoyed this. Attempted with Venn Family (1) Nyssa and MinnieMoo at night. Part 1 one was a great challenge. Liked the camo.
With the magical, black, tasty goo smeared behind our ears, Dora the Explorer!, 1MiniMoo and vennfamily knew we were right to keep going. We trudged off from finding the antidote and kept following the trail. DRop bears!!!! I'm super happy we only have these creatures and not Slender Man to contend with
GZ came up very quickly, and I was happy to leave some scribble and start my retreat. All this talk of mythical, scary, creatures in the dark didn't help my fear of the dark I knew Spangle was awaiting my return.
Awesome, fun caches, especially at night. Thanks for the cache forbiddenground

We are all the way from Canberra and just came here for a day of geocaching so was unprepared and didn't have a UV light.
Probably will never be back to this area (at least for years) but thanks for the awesome tree climb on the first one

One of the reasons we had driven from the lower Gold Coast today, we needed this cache to complete our Dif/Ter matrix, we had already driven up to Nudgee to nab another that we needed, now just one combo remained, this one.
We visited the precursor cache but had left the required special tool in Sydney, so, we tried a few other creative ways to read the final co-ords without luck.
I read the hint and decided it meant only 2 possible things and 1 was ruled out after reading a few logs, so, we decided to brute force it, or, at least attempt to as we doubted we would be able to buy the required tool anywhere nearby.
About 20 minutes later we were signing the logbook, the boy had found what we were looking for pretty easily when I was in a different direction, no easy feat considering how dense the bush is in places.
Loved the hunt and the fun and even more so the chance to finish our matrix off.

Out for a cache today with Nature Nelle. We targeted this area and this was one of the caches we found.
Having done the hard yards at a previous cache all that remained was to make our way through the bush.
Still covered in vegemite we felt safe as we approached the GZ. Nature soon had this in hand and it wasn't long before we quietly crept away having successfully avoided any terrifying drop bear thieves.
Tftc. Recovered and returned on a hot day. Can we take the vegemite off now? Haha.

After finding the partner cache to this one, KJTJMJ and I made our way to this one hoping that the coordinates we kind of solved/guessed were right! And the fact that I was able to select 'FOUND IT' with this log, meant that our little trick worked
Cool little location and great set of geocaches!
At this cache, I also picked up the TB 'Cacher's Paradise Fan 1' - http://coord.info/TB302HG off KJTJMJ at this geocache.
This geocache was part of my unplanned mega BNE geocaching day and found with KJTJMJ.
When I awoke this morning, for some unknown reason, more than any other day, I had a massive hunger for smashing down some caches!
It was very early when I rolled over in bed and thought, “yep, I feel like a solo day out hunting…”. Knowing that the Muggle Partner had something on today, I knew that I could get in a full day of hunting if I got an early start.
The next decision was to decide where to go… Most geocaches around me would require a fair bit of driving just to grab one or two. So having the time, I thought I might as well head down to BNE, a place that I have not cached to often!
I don’t know why, but for some reason I remembered that the Glider Forest had quite a few geocaches in it and around it, so I decided that that was going to be my hunting ground for the day.
Thanks for the cache forbiddenground.

Using the information gathered at the previous cache we made our way to this one. A short search later & the cache was in hand. We signed the log, picked up the Tb that was waiting to continue its journey & dropped off another to be moved on. Favorite point from us. Thanks for placing caches for us to find and explore new areas. TFTC
After finding the information that we required, stortigirls and I bush bashed our way to this one. At GZ, I made short work of the search and soon had the cache in hand. We signed the log and returned everything to where we found it before we headed to the next one. TFTC
With the information gathered at our previous cache we made a quick find of this one. Enjoyed the concept and the hide. Dropped off a TB to continue its journey. Tftc forbiddenground
Seeing this pair of reciprocal ratings we thought we could squeeze them in so headed over. We soon spotted the trail gate and then a bit of a geo trail. No problem going up and the just near the final spot there is a nice place to balance to do the logging and other task. A careful rotation of cache, zip bag, log pen and the 2 travel bugs we dropped in as we completed the signing duties and other task. Look like we were not the first visitor today. TFTC Once down it was off to its companion cache and on getting close to GZ the hint all started to make sense. Looks like an XC model. A quick scan around and the nice sized tube was found. We discovered the travel bug and then completed the signing duties. TFTC.
Before dropping my daughter pinkypie05 and my son mazza151 off at a kids birthday party, we decided to do this cache. I had done the previous part with Remsjw but we were unable to get the clue. Remsjw got what we needed and got the clue with the Tough Mothers crew.
Nice little walk today. Great location for the cache which we found easily. I was a bit worried it was going to be difficult to find. TFTC! I really enjoyed these. I'm giving it a favourite point!

We all headed out from the tree and came to the place we had to find the cache which was awesome. After a few minutes Roddy C Crew with the find and then we all signed and returned. TFTC.
I was so excited that the title gave us such a great clue. Mr Roddy C had the find after we had all been searching for a few minutes. Tftc
It was fun today going bush with the black Flag crew. We had gathered what we had hoped were the coordinates from the nearby traditional cache, and set off. Bashing dead branches, brushing away cobwebs, protecting toddler heads from naughty iron railings - all in a Friday afternoon's fun.
We soon spotted the transportation Cortina. The cache notes talked about doors, so instinctively we all began searching the doors, expecting a difficult hunt. The I just happened to find the GUARDED cache as per the hint! So easy! Log book signed all around, and we headed back to the rail track. Now just where did we leave that stroller?
Found at 2.30pm on 16th October 2015. TFTC.

#45/50 on my Big Monday.
It was probably about 8pm by the time I got here. I still felt mentally alert but my legs really wanted me to stop after caching since 4am. There had been some extraordinary twists of fate when it came to the list of 50 caches I set out to find today. When I made a nearby climb a few weeks ago, I had failed to bring the necessary equipment and so couldn't record any details. I was cranky at myself at the time, but if I had gone ahead and found what I needed back then, I would certainly have gone on to find this one as well, and so it would not have been available to help me succeed in the Unique Difficulty Terrain Challenge I was doing today.
A little while ago, I climbed again, brought the right equipment and knew where to go, but by then I knew this cache needed to be kept for this special day.
Tonight was the time, and I felt no fear of snakes, spiders, bogeymen or anything else as my weary legs pounded through the bush. The GZ was unexpected but made a lot of sense. After just a bit of worrying about the cache, it popped up in my last option and I could be on my way out. TFTC which was tricky but still a beauty!

Once back on the ground I grabbed my stuff then headed off through the under growth. Soon enough I spotted the geotrail then the going got easy. Not a big fan of geotrails usually but in this case I was happy to see one. These termite mounds in here are huge. I scared a roo I think at one stage, didn't see it but the noise it made was pretty loud. Soon enough though the structure came into view and I was all over it.
Good use of that container, thanx again forbiddenground

Another great hide and good container. GPS was all about the place but eventually turned to the right spot. after searching we went to look elsewhere then turned and spotted the cache.
We have been waiting to come and do this one for a while. Perfectly opportunity. Loved the bush walk. Tftc
After retrieving the required info from a local cache, it was on to this one.
After heading along the defined area, it was time to make a turn and head in. Rain now getting heavier .
Arrive at GZ and quickly locate the cache. Log signed, cache replaced.

Heavy traffic caused by bad weather meant that I was late meeting up with the rest of our group this morning and so I missed the first cache. Glad to be in time for this one though.
Having gone the wrong way down the road at first (trying to use the phone while juggling an umbrella in the wind isn't easy [:p] ), I eventually realised my error and started heading back up the road. As I did so I happened to spot some people walking off down a nearby track so I cut across country a little to join them. With a large group of people it wasn't long at all before someone had the cache in hand and added our names to the log.

Thursday. Slow Puncture was out with Orange Crew and various other members of the NPG - all of whom had differing reasons for being on the group get-together. In the RAIN After all the days lately of sunshine. Of course, we all blamed Kieran, as the organiser. Sorry, mate - the buck stops at the top
Having obtained the previous cache's co-ordinates, the NPG was off to this cache. Those of us who had been here before took the direct (and much shorter) route, whilst, for reasons unknown, the others insisted on getting there via a 'C' shape. Suffice to say, we arrived well before them and considered a number of options like temporarily removing the cache, emptying its contents, sticking it up a tree, leaving a silly note in it etc.
But in the end, apathy took over and we were too wet to make the effort, so we watched as a quick find was made once the others finally arrived
Thanks [Blue]forbiddenground[/Blue], for showing us this place.

When a group day out caching targeting some specific caches was suggested, we couldn't help ourselves but put our hand up to be part of the fun. Unfortunately, Mr Just a Trifle could not make it in the end so it was up to Mrs Just a Trifle to take one for the team ... well someone had to do it
With the required information obtained at the previous cache, we seemed to split off with differing opinions as to the best approach to ground zero. With so many present, it didn't take long for the cache to be located and our names added to the log book.
Thank you forbiddenground for having placed the cache for everyone to enjoy.

Out and about today in the area because there is a group catch up for this cache and its partner.
Someone in the group had the necessary tool to obtain the co-ords for this cache, so off we headed. A quick find with so many eyes searching.
Thanks for the cache.

Thankfully someone had researched this better than me and had the right equipment to access the co-ordinated at the last cache. Soon the ratbag crew had made their way to the right spot. Naturally with a bunch of searchers the cache was soon in hand. I'm off to a house inspection with my son so I bid farewell to the ratbags and headed off to dry off and make myself a bit more presentable. Thanks forbiddenground.
With success at the first bear the mighty gang of hunters boldly set off for the next trophy. As always with a decent sized group there were several options explored as the best way to GZ.
We all eventually arrived at the same spot and with so many hunters it did not take long to find the prize. [^]
Great fun to do these two this morning thanks Forbiddenground.

This one and it's twin had been on my radar for a while, so I thought it's about time to organise a hunt. After mentioning an outing to Ed, we threw open an invitation to all who could make it to a midweek outing.
With the right info plugged into the Etrex, off we trudged to find the final. Once there, we fanned out and it didn't take long to cotton on to where the container was hidden. Thanks for a great pigeon pair of caches Forbiddenground, FP from me.
No Dropbears were harmed today

Last time I was near the cache, I've forgotten a crucial part of the equipment which prevented me from going any further. Ahhh - that's not too bad - it's only a [url=https://goo.gl/maps/haoPM]36h round-trip[/url] by car! So a couple of days later I'm back to start the thing all over again. Like most people I have to work during day times so night time caching it is.
After finding the cache I thought just for shits and giggles I'll try to get back to the car in a straight line without a GPS. I got there but not in a straight line

After retrieving the clue from the previous cache this one was our next target to achieve our last souvenir for the road trip souvenirs so the 3 off us set off through the bush at 10:30 at night with me in my dressing gown and laughing and talking all the way. Having done other caches in the area a few months ago we could reference that after only a short walk from the clue we would be at GZ. We found the cache and my son was really impressed by what we saw at the GZ location. Thank you again forbiddenground for another great cache I'll be giving this one a favorite point to
A change in circumstances meant I was free for Saturday night. A couple of phone calls, and Swellerfungus and SeffnJarah were keen for a night time caching adventure, as always.
This cache and it's neighbour were targets for tonight. Pulling up at our parking spot, it was clear that we would need to overcome the darkness, some high terrain and some terrible karaoke coming from a party nearby.
After collecting the coordinates nearby, we headed for this cache. I think the awful karaoke was affecting our GPS reception. It was like the bermuda triangle, with bad music. No receiver could give us a straight line to the cache.
SeffnJarah made the find. Job done. Many thanks, forbiddenground

After sorting out the drop bear at the near by tree climb and having the correct information at hand we decided to take the short trek here to claim another Cache. We pretty well were able to follow a faint Geotrail until we arrive at GZ. We had a bit of a look around and soon spotted the hide. We signed the log book and then made our way back the the car. On the way we battled a couple more spider webs, I'm sure that we cleared them all on the way down, but obviously not.
Thanks
Thanks
Well didn't our GPSrs take us on a merry dance around this area! Eventually we made it to GZ and it wasn't long before SNJ had made the find. A clever way to do a cache and a great theme too. Thanks for the fun.
After revealing the coordinates at our previous stop our we headed off to GZ. I think we must have covered double the distance as both our GPS pointers swung backwards and forwards erratically, leading us on a drunken zigzaging path. To make matters worse, our journey was to the accompaniment of the worst karoke blasting out from a party at a house across the road. Eventually we arived at GZ and after picking a spot to search managed to find it after not too long. TFTC
I was with the group who were FTF on the other half of this duo of caches and I had the coordinates. Thinking back we should have checked out the location at that time.
Today I wanted to clear the map so I headed into the, now familiar, area and followed a faint path that headed the right direction and soon spotted the hiding spot and it wasn't long before the cache was revealed.

Monday. Slow Puncture are both on holidays and today is the occasion of our third geo-birthday. To that end, we set ourselves some goals today: to finish our D/T grid, to complete the August challenge, and to find Queensland's oldest geocache.
With the hard part done at the previous cache, a nice little slightly downhill stroll followed to the next GZ - and soon the likely GZ loomed into view. Hmmm, any number of potential hiding places here, but - we read the clue, and on wehat is a rare occasion for us, it made sense! Within a few hesitant moments, the container was uncovered. Hurrah Saw nothing resembling a bear unless Linden/6 counts!
This was the 2 out of 6 caches we found on this trip. And our second vacant D/T grid was eliminated. 2 remaining for the day
Thanks [Blue]forbiddenground[/Blue], for bringing us here.
