On the way to Burra with Jolly0 & earthlight. We stopped by here made the find on a glorious sunny day.TFTC TheKellyGang
We are one our way to Adelaide for the leap Year Mega. After an early start from our overnight accommodation, we set off to find the caches on our target list. All caches were found and signed as "5 for QLD" for our traveling group of hatzofff (myself), RoddyC, Imbunda, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947.Today we finally get to Adelaide after a mammoth trip! The last of our target caches and LGAs before caching in and around Adelaide before the Mega.
An early morning start after our overnight stay. I am traveling with my friends, hatzofff, RoddyC, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947. We are signing all logs as "5 for QLD" to save space. All caches were found, signed and replaced as foundAfter a big day yesterday, today we are logging selected caches around the outer Adelaide area.
TFTC smile 18720 Out and about on a lovely day Having a great time finding a few caches heading to Adelaide for a few weeks then on our way to Canberra . Signing as 5 for QLD - Hatzofff Snickersallan RoddyC Imbunda. What a great team we made and lots of laughter and fun. Ah, today we have our third day in South Australia. Thank you TheKellyGang for placing this cache for our enjoyment [:X]
A Leap Year Mega draws us to Adelaide. Today's our intrepid group arrives in South AustraliaWe are using the Acronym 6 for QLD to sign the log sheets. Most of the caches this day were nice quick finds. And so happily I say that the logs were signed and caches replaced as found on this day, 27th February 2024. TFTC, TheKellyGang.
Day 4 of the road trip. Still brought to you by goats and emus. Lots of birds to dodge today too. Almost at the final destination, a bit of a scenic tour to grab a few extra counties on the way.Don't mind if I do, and a lovely toasted sanga for a nearby cafe too.
Travel to the Clare Valley and try and get the rest of the that I couldn't find previously. As well as surrounding town. Unloading and loading the mobility scooter to collect the finds. TFTCQuick find.
A quick find here as Chookster and I headed to Burra for a short break. I think we stopped for a while and had a snack in the shelter before going on a bit of a wander to stretch our legs. A nice spot to go caching!TFTC TheKellyGang
While we were here, we may as well grab 2 caches. This was the second one. Naughtybunny and I both saw this from a distance as it kind of stood out. A beaut park which we both enjoyed exploring. TNLN. Cheers.
Half of the Goldy's are off to Saddleworth today so MotherGoldy can attend some book writing thing for nerds.
While she is doing that, I'm off for my own type of nerdy hobby.
I ended up with 12 finds for the day and 0 DNF's.
A nice little park this one. I enjoyed walking around and seeing this area.
I love when caches bring me to spots I don't know even exist.
The cache was located quickly and easily. The two log books in the cache were full, so I've added a new one in with a plastic bag. All is well here now.
Thanks TheKellyGang for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3541 on the 2nd of September 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

It is a little early for a cuppa for us, we found the cache and then had a quick look around the area, so many signs to read and information to absorb. SL TFTC
Started the nearby multi, aborted mission with the sub-arctic winds defeating us, so we made a quick find of this one and went back to the warmth of the car.
We spent the morning at the local farmers markets and after made this nice and easy find.
An interesting historical spot.
Thanks.

Thanks TheKellyGang for this cache, easily found. Making pie, the geopup and I enjoyed a walk around this historic spot, after the Anzac day ceremony nearby. Houses have improved since this was built!
Doctor Owl was going to be in Balaklava today and she asked if sushilord and I would like to come up and meet her to do some caching around the area. It was a lovely day for a drive and we met her for coffee in Balaklava then headed to Auburn, Saddleworth, Mintaro, Sevenhill and Spring Gully before ending up back in Balaklava. [^]
We had a fun day driving on some interesting dirt roads and tracks thankful that it wasn't wet. All but one of the caches we looked for were found and we broke the day up with a great lunch at the Saddleworth Pub. All in all a great day caching.
A quick find with sushlord as Doctor Owl made a start on the multi close by.
Thanks for the cache TheKellyGang.

Today I was invited by FeatherWaite and e.gregory to join them on a trip to the Barossa Valley.
Little did I know that the intended route would be via Stockport, Hamely Bridge up to Clare by the back roads, joining the highway at Watervale. Then back to Kapunda via Mintaro, Saddleworth and Marrabel.
The closest we got to the Barossa Valley was the Sturt Highway north of Nurioopta on the way home.
Thanks to the Kelly Gang for the cache with a convenience.
It's Fine Elsewhere

Found with Bob from Elsewhere and e.gregory1 on a caching trip up to the Clare and Barossa Valleys, mostly taking the backroads in search of multis and puzzle caches, with an occasional traditional cache thrown into the mix. Thanks for the cache TheKellyGang!
Today Bob from Elsewhere, FeatherWaite and I headed north from Adelaide to find some caches. We were mainly targeting multis, but also found a few puzzle caches and some Traditionals. We covered a fairly large area from Hamley Bridge, up to Clare, then back to Kapunda via Marrabel.
Most of the multis were short and quite straightforward and the puzzles had been solved in preparation beforehand.
The weather was nice and mild, which made for a great day for caching. Despite it being a public holiday, the roads weren’t too busy, there weren’t a lot of people about around most GZs, which made things a bit easier.
Thanks TheKellyGang for the cache.

stopped to do the new multi here and grabbed this one after. quick find.
Took Mogni for a trip to the Flinders Rangers for the long weekend with extra day either side. The target for the trip was to clear some of the " used to be a church " micro series on the way up and on the back as well, complete a couple of station tracks plus hike to Blinman Pools. We where not expecting a couple of 34 degree days then a 30 km wind dust storm followed by rain over night and then the wilpenda pound walls covered in fog for the next 1/2 a day. It did change our plans a little and the order we did things. All containers we found damaged, broken, cracked were replaced and were possible ( if not soaked ) original log books were kept. Any log books found full were replaced or if room had extra scrolls added in to the cache.

We had a cuppa after the Saddleworth Markets then found the cache then headed up the road a bit for more fun
We soon found this cache once at Ground Zero during some end of the day geocaching before heading off to our overnight camping spot in Saddleworth. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
