Out having a camping weekend before the weather gets crazy! What better excuse to go out cache hunting :3Found quickly after scootching past the bee hive but what a pretty and very active reserve!!
Out and about on a solo caching day today and this was the first cache for the day. This is a lovely little hidden away park. Saw a very big kangaroo as I drove up the road. Found the cache quickly in a nice natural hiding spot. Thanks Burlos.
Give me a home among the gum trees, with lots of plum trees.... great song and great spot to stop. Cheers for the cache.
Find 4630 on February 28, 2024Day#2 on Fergzters roadtrip to the Great Leap Forward Mega Event in Adelaide. Today's stretch was from Taylor's lake near Horsham towards Adelaide. A nice peaceful spot for a cache before the weather gets too hot. All is well with the cache. TFTC Burlos
Picking up some more caches around Dimboola, while still leaving some for another visit later with ilook4geo. This one was a quick find. Thanks for the cache go to Burlos.
Heading across to Adelaide for the great Leap Forward event, grabbing a few along the way to break the journey. This was a nice one as it got me off the road and amongst the gums. Thanks Burlos for your fantastic efforts and for contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails, Deanside

I decided to have a look at this one as the rain put a hold on my original plans, before checking to the motel, I headed over to GZ but first, parking on the side of the road near GZ which was almost a problem as on my return from signing the log once the cache was found, I found that the side of the road was very soft, muddy and slippery, just as well I had an AWD, the big problem I had an extra 150kg hanging off the tow bar.
**Thanks to Burlos for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**

En route to the Whittlesea Mega. It’s been a very rare event to actually leave the highway at Dimboola ever since the by pass opened. I’ve stopped off to log one of the new challenge caches, and this one was sorta on the way. A nice peaceful patch of bush here. Thanks for the hide Burlos.
In a beautiful sunny day and after a excellent lunch at the pub we set off to burn some calories, what a surprise the flowers in full bloom and what a perfume, thanks for placing this cache

A four day weekend gave us the opportunity to catch up with the rest of the Crew and head to South Australia to do the Border track and caches in the Big Dessert area, lots of laughs and good times were had over the weekend. There were plenty of good quality caches to be found along the way.
Today we did a few tracks around the Wyperfeld Park and Big Desert area, led by our tour guide tackle_head.
This is one of the caches found today. After a good nights sleep at the Dimboola Motel it was time to head to Rainbow to meet up with the others, so we grrabbed a couple of caches on our way out of town.
Thanks Burlos for the cache.

School holidays are here and the road beckoned! Cruised through St Arnaud then through Donald, into Warracknabeal and on to Dimboola... Staying in Dimboola, we trekked around town this afternoon, picking up all of the caches we could find. Thanks for the cache Burlos!

Found with tassie expat while exploring this nice area. Dimboola is a very pretty town. Thanks for placing this cache.
This time, the weather in Dimboola is more conducive to walking. Made the short walk from town, and quickly found the cache. All in good condition. Left a couple of swaps and grabbed a TB. Lots of noisy birds around. TFTC
This was a good hiding spot, not far from the road and safe parking and relatively clear understory to make my way to GZ. The cache might have had maybe too many bits of bark to make overkill with the camouflage, but it’s unlikely any Muggle is likely to find it accidentally. Cache and contents were in good condition.
After spending time in the nearby Little Desert for the Easter Holidays, we decided to stop by and grab this cache. Nice quick find.
Thanks

Took a much longer route home from Naracoorte to Adelaide. I think I doubled the kms and tripled the time taken. Left the farm at 1pm and got home at 11.30pm was a bit tired for work the next day.
Had a great afternoon with around 25 found including the labs at Natimuk.
My thanks to all the CO for adding to my enjoyment.

Out with Bunadoorian on an adventure for the day to clean up a few Local Government Areas and UBD maps! This find 5 for today. Luckily Bunadoorian had his geosenses on today as he found it first. TFTC Burios and for bringing us to this little area. I enjoyed the walk from the car - it was good to stretch the legs.
I like the recycling for the use of Geocaching. Great container and in good condition and as per the hint. TFTC.
St Arnaud to Horsham
With the event now over we have made tracks for a town we have not been to before.
After setting up camp we took an afternoon drive to Dimboola.
Thankyou for placing this cache Burlos

My last remaining cache in Dimboola, seem to always bypass it. Beautiful spot here and glad to do the walk also. Amazing looking on Google earth how small these native reserves are comparing to the grids of paddocks.
Mallee roadtrip: Rupanyap, Murtoa, Dimboola, Japarit, Rainbow, Sheep Hills
-Magnificent wide skies
-Got stuck in deep sand tracks
-Amazing silo art
-Visited the old Ebeneza mission I once read about
-Visited the abandoned town of Pella (church and school)
-Rural communities and farm roads
Love this country

Leaving my stop over in Dimbolla and doing a few around the area before heading west to find a few more.
So after finishing a couple in the desert I headed back to town to finish off a couple more before heading to my next destination.
Took the wrong road at first and ended up at the school in a dead end.
Re calculated and soon arrived at GZ.
Thanks Burgos TFTC.

This was our first cache of the day having just left our overnight campsite. The cache was quickly located once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
TFTC.We parked at the recreation reserve for an overnight stay. After setting up and lunch we set of to attempt some of the local caches. A short drive from the Common and we had this cache in hand.
First cache find in Dimboola, hope to find a few more as I was spending the morning here. TFTC.
I could give me a home here.
A trip east to Parkville 2018 had us stopping on the way to collect a few caches. Well that’s what cachers do when they head to a mega don’t they.
